Overall well maintained however the staff was not helpful nor polite and refused to give me my deposit back even after leaving the unit clean and how I purchased it. I was told the reasoning was because I didnt give a 30 day notice before leaving the unit however I didnt know I would be moving until that day. Would not recommend this unit to any family or friends.

I think the wheels on the truck needed balancing but it really didn't matter much because I never drove over 60 miles an hour as a rule. A few times I did get up there in speed there was some shaking. Also, I pitched whistling noise appear occasionally. Sounded like feedback but it was intermittent. It would have been good to know the truck gets perhaps 10 miles to a gallon. Maybe less

The pick up was easy on the mobile app. We needed a last minute truck on a Sunday and reserved the truck for the same day. We brought it back the nest morning and dropped off using the app with no problems.

“Bob” was helpful when I called but he didn't check-in the vehicle I dropped off Saturday until Monday afternoon, causing several unnecessary emails, texts and phone calls! Moreover, someone miscalculated the mileage (bad arithmetic) which printed extra charges that (still) need to be reversed. Not a great experience overall from U-Haul.

no one there! call number 3/4 hour later get a call telling me where to leave the trailer then get **** from the owner/manager that its not where he said to leave it.... reason was he could not see it on his video camera,so its not there. have him get off his *** and be there for the return or travel to the drop off site to check for himself!!!was the ending to a real ****y weekend that was a real kick in the ****s! just a lazy move on his part. i will drop off at any other spot in stead of getting another call from a lazy pile of ****! hope they get all they have coming to them /him!

I only drove it 10 miles, but it took 3 gallons to fill up. It appears whoever used it before me didn't fill it up and management didn't check.

I received an email that I was late dropping off the trailer. It was found that the trailer was dropped off after 3 hours of use on a 6 hour contract. I purposely did not select the $8 insurance and was charged for it. Why would I pay $8 insurance for a $24 trailer rental for a couple hours and only going 3 miles. I think this is a scam to get more money. I will not consider UHaul for my next move.

This facility as a storage facility is outstanding. However, as a Uhaul experience it is the worst one I have had so far. It took 2 hours to get the truck rented because the compiter system was I adequate. No one knew how to fix it. No organization. My fault was I didn't sign an agreement or do an Inspection. However none was offered to me so I got charged for a insurance I didnt ask for. I called and asked to have it removed and they said they would , but never did. I would not recommend this location for Uhaul services. I will not rent a Uhaul from them again. I will go to Penske or Budget truck Rental.

Service was good, truck had several problems, headlights aimed to low and to the right causing difficulty driving at night. Driver door and mirror vibrated at highway speed making mirror had to use. Rubber seal on windshield (passenger side came lose while driving and had to be removed. Front end vibration at highway speed. Trailer was great with no problems.

One tire was junk, deflated by the time I brought the trailer home, also the emergency brake on the trailer wasn't working.

Again, the agent at this location corrected mistakes made by U-Haul. I received an e-mail from U-Haul directing me to return the trailer to another location, which refused to accept the trailer. The agent who refused to accept the trailer said she notified U-Haul that she had no capacity. Because of the very poor service I received from U-Haul, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as posting my experience to social media outlets.

I reserved and confirmed my order, and did an "express online check-in" the day before. I received a phone call from the place where I was to pick up my trailer, confirming both the date and location. BUT! I arrived at the location in Groton, CT on time and they informed me that UHaul CHANGED my pickup location to a location in Westerly, RI, more than a 40 min drive away from my moving location. I drove that morning to the Westerly RI location that they gave me but the Westerly RI location was closed. I found the trailer on site and hooked up, waiting for the owner to arrive. He arrived by chance a half hour later, not intending to open early that morning--he was unaware that he had any rental reservations that morning. He went online to his UHaul account and informed me that my rental had been changed to a different Westerly, RI location. By this time I was 2 hours behind. He said that he could go online and rent me the trailer that I was hooked up to, but he would have to change my reservation. He did this, and I was off to the moving location in Preston, CT. He said that the Groton location messed up the address of the Westerly location, but he did not know why UHaul changed my reservation from the Groton CT location to the Westerly RI location. It could have been an equipment inventory issue, but the customer never knows. The Groton agent said that I would be entitled to a $50 discount because of the confusion, but the Westerly agent knew nothing of this. He added the $50 discount to the (new) reservation that he made for me at his location. He is to be commended for fixing the mistakes of the others in UHaul, especially the UHaul representatives behind the scenes. I was to pick up the trailer originally at 7:30 AM in Groton, but finally ended up at the moving location at 11:00 AM in Preston CT.

The locations were fine. The issue was your truck. The back door was broken, and could only be opened with a crow bar and closed with a hammer. Also, there were nails in 2 tires. Not acceptable.
