MAXIMINO A.A day before my pickup, i got a text from Uhaul to drive an hour west to another location. Once i got to that location, the office was closed and I then called Uhual and was told to drive another hour south. Once i arrived, nobody was there at the location during my new appointment time. Once someone helped me, the extra items i ordered for the truck were paid for but not included in the truck. The person who was supposed to help me put the trailer onto the truck had no idea what they were doing with the trailer or vehicle. Some random guy driving past us stopped to help us. I wasnt given any type of compensation for driving 3 hours extra to pick up the vehicle and waiting once arriving. The extra hours pushed back my move date and cost me time for my new job. I am very displeased
David A.Would have liked an accessible drop-box for paperwork, but everything else (including the staff member who I gave the paperwork to the next morning) was great.
sandra A.I think the prices are to high, especially for a car dolly, almost $60 for a day, maybe $20 a day would be better.
SCOTTY B.Pickup was on a Saturday while the business was closed. Used the online check in which took 2 hours and repeated phone calls to the help desk. Examined the truck and noted that the appliance dolly I ordered was not there. Called customer service and they helped find another location to locate a dolly. All said and done an evolution that should have taken less than 30 min took 4 hours.

James C.The agent at checkin (@ 5:00/p) was unhappy checking us in at closing. We were charged for a FULL 2nd day for having picked up the truck @3:00/p and checking it end at 5:00/p. This although we picked up a U Box trailer (loaded) in Litchfield Park, AZ and dropped it in Ft. Worth, TX (for a $400 credit), which took us much greater than (2) hours out of our way. I went back to the dropoff location the following day to discuss and after calling the main office, was told if you exceed the time based on the pickup time you are billed another day, no exceptions. I have spent over $10,000 with U-haul in the past 6 years between U Boxes (2) years apart, several trailer rentals and the recent truck rental. No more. Color me gone elsewhere! Some customer service.
John A.Fix your computer system 2 hours to rent a small trailer which cost me more than the first large trailer I rented the week before - rented a 6x12 first week for 98 dollars rented a 5x8 and cost me 111$ - really poor system... and definitely not fair Overall not a good experience Kim tried and was helpful but her hands were tied due to corporate policy?

terrance C.Franklin was the best and it wasn't for her helping me I don't know what I would have done. She went that extra mile for me. She went through 3 different agents before I got the help. I was there about 45 minutes returning the truck and equipment.
trina B.My issue had nothing to do with the location or the people there. My issue is a week before i ordered a 20ft truck. Well NOT even 24 hours before I needed the district manager calls me saying that truck is unavailable and there is none in my area and he could see what he could do. Well he calls me back saying there was a truck in Franklin. I don't remember if he even told me the size. Well i had to go 20 minutes out my way. Which is whatever. He gave me 100 miles for the inconvenience and having to go get it and didn't charge me for having to pick it up at 4 the day before. Well here's where my issue is. I end up with a 10ft truck. That truck was also too small to fit a fridge in. So that was miles wasted. Well after getting the next day it was pointed out to me that the truck said only 19.95. SO WHY DID I END UP PAYING $120 for a truck that was only $19.95 with $14 insurance and a $10 appliance dolly. I'm thinking they charged me as a one way fee when he told me to drop it off in my current town where I was. None of this is adding up to me and I'm pretty upset about it. So that's why my experience was rated poorly.

David R.I had no problem with the pick up location. They were very helpful. I have a problem with Uhaul! Reserved a truck 3 weeks in advance and when the day came, no truck!!!! I was told to pick up a truck 100 miles from my location, that was unacceptable. I had to get a smaller truck but thanks to Tranz Specialties they helped me. Uhaul 800 number is useless!!!

Kelcie B.The customer service lady made demeaning comments about another employee to me, I thought it was offensive and not necessary. No assistance was given on finding or loading the dolly, was told to go out to the field and find it. The wiring harness was missing, I took the one from another dolly. Prior to leaving from my house on the trip I checked the tire pressure and found them to about half flat.
