i had the trailer stuck on my hitch, maybe because of ice no one to help there. i spent almost 30 min wrestling to get it removed!Mahmoud H.
My overall experience was terrible nothing to do with the place that actually rented it to me but I had to make 3 reservations in 2 days and ended up in Orillia 140 km ib both directions because of uhauls incompetence. The owner of this location was very good to deal with but the people I dealt with by phone didn't seem to be able to help with my compensation for what we were put through. Our truck was not there when we arrived and it was over several hours later and hundreds of kilometers of driving before we got one. They offered us 50 free kilometers for our trouble but it is not enough and our 50KM discount is not on my final bill. I am very upset with U-Haul and may seek legal action. No wonder they don't want me to put my name on this!John S.

Location and U-Haul rep at the location was fantastic. He went out of his way to help us which was very appreciated. U-Haul customer service from the call center was absolutely atrocious though. I will not use U-Haul again because of how awful the experience was. Our reservation was significantly changed multiple times within 24 hours of our expected departure. In the end, we didn't even get the truck we booked because there were none available anymore, even though we were guaranteed a specific size already. We also had to drive significantly out of our way to pick it up, adding almost 3 hours to our drive time for the day. On top of that, our finalized booking was actually wrong. The customer service agent entered the wrong pick up time and if I didn't call to inquire, then we would've been standing there 5 hours early twiddling our thumbs and wasting time. Honestly, I never ever want to go through any of that again.Cody D.

Reservation process is awful. You spend time online choosing what you want at the location you need only to have a uhaul rep call to tell you it isn't available and give you something else, somewhere else. There was also a family who showed up at the same time as us who had reserved and confirmed a truck to move with but the truck wasn't there. I felt awful for them scrambling to find a way to love when uhaul didn't respect their reservation. Awful experience for them.Earl K.

I rent the car trailer often , the problem is finding a location that has it in stockTom H.
I was charged $0.22 for going 1/2 over my allotted. I made no deviations from picking up the truck to loading /unloading the truck and dropping it off. The monetary value is nominal but I feel like the was an error in calculating the trip. Disappointing.Curt M.

Be more transparent with cost. Saying a rental is $125 a day is misleading when a trip from orillia to Vaughn and back made the entire bill $250 plus gas I would have thought there would have been some Free kilometres like other companiesJulie C.
The online order I tried to work through at the location was a failure......the Brammer Drive location operator saved the day and my experience was made a positive one by him. Returning the truck later that day was also a failure.....but more so because I was unaware of the detailed steps I needed to take before I dropped the key in the lock box. I was originally given this location, next day told I had to go to the Shell station on Hwy 11. confirmed on the phone a few days before with an online check in. Drove to the location, phoned customer service and told I had to go to the original location. Issues with my phone and not seeing what I needed to complete the process...calling customer service to walk us through it. Lost an hour. The whole online check in process is painful. I was told I would receive a discount for the confusion but I didn't see it on my invoice that was sent to me.Warren R.

The gentleman that Runs this location came out to the truck when I showed up to get it. Right off the hop he says I am in quarantine I just got back from Europe. Amidst a covid 19 problem like we are. This guy does not understand lockdown procedures for Canada after returning from travel. I was moving due to a new job. And essential service job. To immediately be confronted from stupidity is very disappointing. Therefore I would never recommend this location.Robert R.
The truck we rented had Arizona plates and the tires were not suitable for Canadian winter. After getting stuck twice, we had to park the vehicle for 2 days because it was unsafe to drive it. Although U-Haul can't change the weather, they do have a responsibility for customer safety. On the plus side, the self-check in and out worked well (after we figured out the lock situation) and the customer service line was very helpful.Rob H.
I was originally suppose to pick up my U-Haul truck on Rama Rd in Rama. I would NEVER recommend that location to anyone. The location is suppose to open at 10:00am I waited in the parking lot for 30 min for the guy who runs the business to show up and he never did. That was when my location got switched to 23 Brammer Road after calling U-Haul to find out what to do and it was much better.Simone M.
