The store manager, little Mr sunshine, was none to happy on any of the 3 visits I was there. Thank goodness for his assistant who was more than understanding and seemed adept at smoothing things over in spite of the boss. Price was good value. Recommended

They charged us for 1/2 blankets that we NEVER used! We told them that they were NEVER taken out of the bag. Also, 20 MINUTES before we were to pick up our 20 FT truck at 9 am that we had already PAID for the night before, they called and said "sorry the trucks not here, I can get you a 17 FT @2 pm but that's it, and NO ONE else has any in town. " This man was very rude about it all!!! They knew it was an EMERGENCY SITUATION, & acted like it was no big deal!!! I had people waiting to meet us at 10 am! Yes at the VERY LAST MINUTE, the truck came back, but it made us over an hour late, and we lost half our help because of it. We're NOT happy with how we were treated!!! Plus, we returned the truck FULL of gas, and got charged for that also! Will not EVER recommend this place, and want a refund!

I reserved a van to pick up at 1PM. When I arrived the staff had gone out to lunch; they didnt return until 2PM. This our difference caused me to miss the time to have my recycling to the transit station. Very, very disappointed. This is why I prefer to never use uhaul. I'm always having some issue.

The agent said the truck had a full tank of gas, and that I must return it with a full tank. However, the fuel gauge did NOT register "full". I drove the truck about 10 miles. I stopped adding fuel to the truck at 4 gallons. It should have been refilled with one gallon. I felt taken advantage of, as the extra 3 gallons were worth about $7.00

I'd like to start with expressing how excellent customer service was. I talked to no less than 6 different representatives. I wish I had written their names down. They were thorough, patient, responsive, and genuinely strived to help me. Now, for the not so good part. I am very frustrated with U-Haul. Because of glitches in your system, that I'm aware happen, I had to delay my move by a week. And I was given the run around because of the system as far as using a voucher. I wanted to use the U-share 24/7 feature but I was unable to because the voucher had to be used in person. Just to be told in person That the credit card system was down. By the 6th person -April (she was amazing, even with me being frustrated)- I was fed up. There should be something worked in the system that refunds can be implemented for errors on your system. Your customer service reps are getting the brunt of customers frustration for things that are completely out of their control. Which isn't fair to them or your customers. This move was exponentially more stressful because of issues with your company. *My review is not a reflection of towne storage, they - like the customer service reps- were excellent with helping me. I would go back to this location to rent if I decided to go through U-Haul again.

This is the best customer experience I have had with a moving company. I changed my plans in the middle of our move and the place I went to drop of my truck didn't have room but they made some phone calls and took my truck anyway. Also, they refunded some of my payment because of the shorter trip. Will defiantly use UHaul again!

Your online return process would NOT work. I spent 20 minutes trying to get the site to work before I finally called the 800# on your website. Very frustrating! The customer service gentleman who ultimately helped me was awesome.

Manager at Towne Storage was a dumb ass. I was on the freeway and he said if I wasn't at the store by 12:30 I would need to come back at 2:00 p.m. I guess the lazy ass needed a 1 1/2 hour lunch break. I drove 3 hours to get to the store and barely made it by 5 minutes. If this guy had any brains he would fire himself.

They told me a 15' truck was big enough for a 3 bedroom! That was really wrong and everyone I've spoken to says that sounds wrong. I had to get rid of stuff so that everything could fit in the truck. I didn't have time to rent a small trailer to pull and that would have been hard for me to drive. Very disappointed!

The cab was cleaner than usual, which was nice. And the gas was full, which is helpful and easier than normal when trucks are usually less than half full. But the back in the box was really dirty. There was some deep red staining on the floor and walls - almost like pigment dust or a mix of red and black toner cartridge. It didn't matter for what I was using the truck for yesterday (running used boxes to the recycle place), but if I was moving furniture it would have been unacceptable. I mentioned it to the location upon return and the gentleman helping me was very dismissive and said that it's probably just the dust from our region (lots of red sandstone in our area). But I know the difference - anyway, it felt like he didn't care and didn't want to know about it for the next renter.

Thank you for having u- hal's at this location! My friend and I had less than 24 hrs to empty a storage unit and couldn't have done it without you. My only wish is that there was a set price for renting one of your vehicles. And another thing you might want to look into is a lock for the gas cap. Someone else got their gas siphoned overnight in front of their house.

I was given an appliance dolly that had bad bearings in the wheels and was difficult to push. And then the furniture dolly had a bad wheel with a flat spot on it that made it difficult to use.

I wax very frustrated because when I returned the truck to realize that whoever had the truck ready to pick up entered the mileage wrong and I was going to be charged for driving 5200 miles in less than 24 hours and was estimated to be charged over an extra $2200 when I returned the truck. But the man wax great he got ahold of uhaul and got everything straightened out and help us get everything squared away and was so nice and I really appreciated it.

I contracted out a 26' truck that was to be available Thursday Nov 21 5:00 PM picked up at 2012 E Riverside Dr Saint George, UT 84790. I arrived at about 4:58 PM and the staff on duty tells me they don't have a reservation for a 26' truck in my name. I get a phone call from a different Uhaul dealer saying my truck was at their shop to pick up, but if I wasn't there by 5:00 they were going to close shop and go home. Their location is about 6 minutes away making it impossible to get there in time, and my ride had already left. Needing to be up in Salt Lake City for our closing Friday morning at 11 am I had no choice but to take the 20'. I told the employee I wouldn't be able to fit all my belongings in a 20' truck and will need to make another trip. He said to call the Las Vegas customer service department in the morning because the person who could approve extra miles (over 50 miles) was gone for the day. After reaching Salt Lake I called customer service and they said they could only approve 250 miles but to call them again when I get back to Towne Storage St George #1 LC (2012 E Riverside Dr Saint George, UT 84790) I return to Saint George and the employee called Las Vegas to have one of their managers approve the additional miles. From here I spoke to an aggressive and unprofessional individual that did nothing except fight with me on approving miles. This was an error in Uhauls system that caused me 8 additional hours of drive time and triple in gas costs. I didn't ask to be reimbursed, I wasn't rude, all I asked was to cover the extra miles. After 20 minutes of arguing she finally approved 533 miles which put me short about 11 miles, and I now had to pay .40 for each mile I went over. I am extremely disappointed in how little anyone in the Uhaul organization cared about correcting a mistake that their system made.

Have your staff learn how to use the apps for the dropbox if that is what is required to complete. Member did not know how to explain to me on the exact process, details, etc. Other than that, everything was good.
