I was charged twice within 24hrs. The daily rate is 39.99 and I had the truck for less than 24 hrs but I was charged twice stating I was supposed to use the truck from 12pm-1200am that's 1 day. Also, the drivers door would not close completely and so noisy when the truck moves. Need reliable and safe trucksMARIETA V.

If a truck is late because of weather (check the date- huge winter storm warnings and multiple inches falling fast the evening my return was supposed to be)â€¦. But especially that the service member at the location desk admits that NO ONE rented the day it was returned (again because of weather) that a break could be given on the second day rental when all it did was park until all the roads were cleared of the 6â€ inches we had. When asked if there was a break she could give on the second charged day, she said no and that â€œthey chargeâ€ â€œthey doâ€ as if she can't help in any way. Ok then.Colter D.
There is no cell phone service at this location, even with full bars the location doesn't have good service and you can't checkout on mobile. I was stuck in the cold for 30 min trying to checkout but the Uhaul website mixed with the poor location made it very long.Matthew S.

I went inside the business building because I had never used remote/mobile pickup before. The individual behind the counter was kind and helpful, and she let me stay inside while I attempted to use the mobile app (I had chosen mobile pickup and return since I'd be returning the truck after the business was closed.). I had a few questions, and she helped me as best she could. The app was pretty slow in the pickup process, but I never imagined I would have to try for over an hour to return the truck that night once I was done. It's sure a good thing that my friend and I got done early, or my rental would have been counted late. I went through the first couple of screens, and then got to the screen where the app requests photos. No matter how I took the photo, the app wouldn't upload any photo that I took. After about 20 minutes of attempting to use the app, I called U-Haul's customer service number, and was on hold for at least 30 minutes. While waiting for someone to answer the customer service line, I kept trying to use the app to check the truck back in, with no success. I decided to try logging into the website instead of the app to see if there was a chat for customer service instead of a call (still listening to the pretty annoying (and way loud, even with my phone at the lowest volume) hold message that U-Haul has on their customer service phone line). To my great relief, after logging into my U-Haul account, the website had a link to check my truck in, as well. I thought "why not" because I'd already been trying to turn the truck in for over an hour at this point. Finally, through the website, I was able to take and upload photos, answer the questions, and complete the return process. If I had known the website had the ability to take returns, I would have gone there much sooner, but once I clicked "mobile check out/return" I got repeated instruction to use the app, so unfortunately it didn't occur to me that I could also do some of the things on the website that the app could do. This has got to be my worst experience with U-Haul ever, not because of the location or the truck, but because of their malfunctioning app and the very long customer service line hold time. After using the website to successfully check in, I hung up with the customer service wait message, and still, after over half an hour, hadn't been answered by an actual person. So, anyone out there having trouble with the app, try the website on your mobile device instead. Save yourself some frustration, and an hour or more of your time. :)Elizabeth B.

It was an over all, good experience. I didn't end up using the dollie nor the blankets. I wanted to ask for compensation for that, but felt it was useless. Being in insurance, I recommend always getting the insurance. It's a lot more expensive & complicated than it's needs to be...over all, it was not bad,paula C.

Fix your fraud system. I was flagged for fraud while trying to use the mobile system and had to wait nearly an hour while the diligent site staff tried to figure out why she couldn't rent out a vehicle to me.Joshua F.

the worst experience ever. I'm not at all happy with the services provided by my recent uhaul rental. I called so many times for the assistance but no help. My truck went off around 12:30 in the night, tried starting the engine using jumper but didnt worked. Called uhual for assistance but the call was on hold and got any help on this. I called uhaul and was told that they will offer me a full refund. And transferred my call to some other team that never answered and i was on hold for more than 30 mins. Called 4-5 times but same thing happened, I was put on hold every time i called for about 20-25 mins. I'm not at all happy with the last rental.mayur N.
Have some present at all times. Maybe hire someone to man the desk when they go to lunch. When we dropped off our truck I would of wanted someone checking it so if some damages it after we leave I wouldn't be liable for it. This location was a storage unit with Uhaul as a side business. The employee was very helpful but was the only employee available to help us. There was a sign on the door when we arrived. We had to come back after lunch break was over. We didn't mind but thought it might be a problem for other customers.Del A.
The truck quality was good. I was unhappy with my service because several days before I physically walked into the location I wanted to rent from to reserve a truck, they up sold me to a larger truck because of lack of availability, no problem I'll pay more, then two hours before my rental pick up time I receive a text message that my truck was now at a different location 6 miles away, or an additional $12 round trip in mileage costs. When discussing this issue they refused to deduct this amount from my costs. I literally went from being just two blocks away from the pick up location to 6 miles away and a 15 minutes drive.Chad R.

I was told a different amount and charged a different amount. The lady said she was giving me a deal which includes a truck rental and 60 miles. And for each additional mile i would be charged 40 cents. Now they sent me a bill, charging me 99 cents a mile and 19.99 truck rental fee. I was lied to. This is not acceptable. I tried calling the location but no one answered. I will call my credit card company to gt a refund if I am not reimbursed in a week. Lying to customers is just pathetic.Mohammed F.
