Checking in and checking out with a cell phone was tedious and difficult. I would have preferred to do those in person with a UHaul rep if that was an option.

I reserved a 26' truck a few days in advance. I called uhaul as well as the town storage location to confirm availability of the truck beforehand. I arrived at the time at date scheduled to find that the location had not prepared the keys for the truck. Uhaul was able to change the reservation and at least get a truck. The town storage really dropped the ball, at least uhaul was helpful.

Make sure that the truck won't break down like it did for me the radiator hose popped off the motor antifreeze all over I had to wait two and a half hours to have the problem fixed but after that it was fine so I took it for the rest of the weekend this happened within five minutes of me taking the vehicle I would like a somewhat of a refund if possible thanks again

I drove the van 18 miles. I put in 5 gallons of gas per the measuring guide to bring the gauge back up to half full. Nobody was in the office at 1 pm when I returned the truck, so I left the keys and contract in the box. Later in the day, I got my invoice online and saw that they had charged me a refill charge of like $35 even though I had filled it per instructions. I will not use u-haul again.

This was my first time using the "self checkout" process. I was very impressed with that. It was very helpful, very easy, and very useful. NOW for my complaint because you owe me about four or five gallons of gas! On my form it says to return it with the same fuel level as when I took possession. On my checkout form it shows the fuel level and how many gallons it will take to bring it back to that level depending on where the current fuel level is.... WELL THAT WAS AN *EXPLETIVE* LIE!!! I was at 1/4 of a tank so it says it will take 14 gallons to bring it to 5/8 of a tank... 14 gallons put me at 7/8 of a tank!!! This is not a big deal to me... oh wait, it is and here is why. IF I had left the fuel short you would have bent me over and screwed me with a sand paper condom by charging me $5 per gallon to get within compliance... but where is my recourse for putting in too much fuel? I cannot charge you $5 a gallon for every extra gallon I put in... you just get to keep that and I am screwed. So, please understand that what I am about to say is with heartfelt contempt towards your business practices.... (comment withheld)

Facility has no parking for trucks other than a small dirt shoulder which wasn't sufficient to park a truck with a trailer. The location was open but door locked and had no one on duty. I knocked several times, tried calling the office. I finally pounded on the door in case someone was in a back office and couldn't hear me. Guy finally answered upset that I had to pound on the door to get his attention. No sign posted or other indication that the guy was previously occupied. I asked if he was ok where I had to park the truck and he said it was fine and he'd take care of it then told me I could have used the key drop. I needed to ask about the parking and I was under the impression that I would be charged for key drop. Between the bad service and lack of space, I would advise to pull this place as a uhual place until the facility can properly manage it.

I ordered to dollys. Got home opened the truck and they were not there. I called U-Haul customer service 5 times and it kept just hanging up on me. So I waited until 9 and Went back to the store opened to get them. I got there at 9, they guy who opened the store didn't show up until 9:10. I know it's not that big of a deal to most people. But I was paying for movers by the hour and time is money. When he did help me He said they only had one available. He said he would take care of the bill and make sure I was only billed for one. I was billed for two. When we returned at 2 the guy was again not there.

At check in the rep was rude and short. When we returned the vehicle a different rep was very courteous and pleasant to deal with, even when he had a lot of people. The inside of the cab was dirty from someone's dirty feet.

They are profiteers after charging me the day it was 6 hours they charged me $ 20 more and $ 1: 25 cents per total mile they charged me $ 185 for that reason I do not recommend them other parts charge very little per mile deprived of that rental service

Well you could make sure that it is ready when you have it set to where and when it is to be picked up. I went in to days before to make sure that everything was good since I had ordered it on line. That part went great, but yesterday when it was to be there and ready guess what, it wasn't they said oh you have to go to a different location. So I told the lady no it was to be here. She then told me that she would see if she could just give us one from her location. I had ordered it for that location since my storage unit was the and I was moving everything out and wanted it close. So next time I will order again and I will again go in to that location for the one I pick which will BE in March, and I hope that it is better. We only had the truck for about 2 hrs. they said make sure to fill it back up and it was but it used $16.00 worth of gas for a 7 mile trip. They were told by my son ether they marked it on the paper wrong or they need to have it checked right but it is now full even though it was not full when we got it but it was when it got dropped back off. So no I was not very happy.

We contacted this location and they were so great and friendly. We were part of a Make-A-Wish event for a Halloween Drive-through event for terminal terminally sick children and their families. We had contacted this location and asked if U-Haul would be willing to donate the cost for this service. Make a wish operates primarily on donations. Is this something Uhaul could help with?

I am not sure. It the mobile check in was awful. It took 30 minutes to be validated and to get the key. I am not sure if this is a location issue or overall issue with mobile pick up. I have never used it before and never will again. This was due to pick up being on a Sunday.

The truck had soda all over the seats, there was grease on the passenger seat, you couldn't see out the windshield and there was no washer fluid in the truck. I spent the first 30 minutes getting the truck clean enough to use. The truck itself was great, had plenty of power, cruise control worked, it downshifts automatically to help you slow down on hills or stopping and really enjoyed the low ramp to load it with.

I go out of my way to use this U-Haul location. They treat you like a valued customer and the equipment and supplies are clean and priced as shown on the U-Haul website. Don't go to the U-Haul dealer on Redwood Rd. in South Jordan, they rip you off and don't care about you as a customer.

My comment is not about the Herriman location; it is about the Oquirrh Mountain location in West Jordan. In August I rented a truck and a car carrier. It was a painful experience. The woment there, especially the senior one,seemed scater-brained and not particularly competent. Compared to the Herriman location, it was a long, convoluted process to get all the paper work finished.at West Jordan. I would avoid doing ;business at the West Jordan location in the future. It was simply disorganized.

I was told the truck had 3/4 tank of gas When I picked it up but it was shy of 3/4 and I took a picture to prove it. I drove the truck only 45 miles and added $16 of gas to get it up to where it was when I got it. Someone added another $16 to get it to 3/4. I wasn't told this was going to happen. I filled the truck up to where it was when I got it and should not have paid another $16. This location gouged me. I'll not recommend this location.

The extension for UHAUL at this location is not valid so a person has to call the extension for New Storage Rentals for information. Just a slight inconvenience.

Honestly it seemed like the guy at the front desk had no idea what he was doing. I left without a contract in hand saying that he'd get one emailed to me. When I returned he wasn't able to print one off but I did finally get one emailed. I then noticed an email stating I'd returned equipment late which I had not as the required return time was 8am the next day and I returned it around 5:45 the night before. I did however get a final contract email. This was a below average experience. Also took WAY longer than other uhaul rentals I've done in the past.

I ordered and reserved a 26 foot truck. The day I was to pick it up I received a phone call from uhaul stating they did not have any 26 foot trucks available. Strange since I had reserved a 26 foot. I was informed that I would have to take a 20 foot truck or go without. Also the guy stated that I was actually supposed to pick the truck up in Springville Utah which is 60 miles south of where I needed the truck. But luckily he had a spare truck available. This process was a total screwups.
