U-haul gave me the opportunity to sign up on line. I specifically checked no insurance . But of course they sneakily check it for ya and collect that extra $14 on the customer 19.99 per day for a ten foot truck. I drive a total 30 miles and final Bill of 61$. Such a scam of a deal. Will look elsewhere next time disappointed with the unfairness of the sneak attacks to get ur moneySCOTT TROY M.

The experience overall was pleasant however I was not properly informed of the equipment. I explained to the rep we were moving appliances and rented the dolly BUT the rep did not tell us that 10 foot trucks do not have ramps! We drove the truck 1 mile and returned it with 2 miles and still had to pay AND we still have to rent another truck to complete the job?!? That didn't make me happy. Location is sketchy with people hanging out in storage units after hours. Apparently our trailer wasn't maintained well because the tire lost at least 1/5 of the tread during our trip and we had to have a replacement put on. I made a mistake and I own it, but, if you're asking me about my experience, here it is- I left three keys to a lock that I was using tuned on a storage unit I haven't gotten called back and I was not able to get in contact with this location in order to get the keys back and I was not informed to take down the keys. If you haven't found the keys in obviously unit cleaning and looking at your truck very long IF you have found the keys and did NOT decide to contact the pERSON was previously in it and that's not a good thing . I spent $200+ To get the lock cut in new locks put in to the storage unit that I had to get into. I own this, it was my mistake by leaving the keys but it would've been helpful if I had been informed of been able to contact your place to get the keys back. One great thing, - The informal person in the window letting me know what to do and where to go that was helpful that was a good thing . Everything else about getting there sucked it was really a pain in the ass it was hard to do it was very laborious having to be verified in such a manner was a real pain in the ass and I would never do it again it should've been streamlined fast and efficient that's the whole point of this process missed on every level K KeithKeith W.

I tried to reserve a rental 4 times and everytime I did the site called me and said we don't have it. I finally got the go ahead to Towne Storage and when I got there the truck wasn't available. The owner was kind enough to let me know he would call me if one becomes available. He called me an hour later to let me know another truck was free which I greatly appreciated. But as for Uhaul, if you have someone make a reservation please make sure the truck is available. 4 different times and 4 different places. I think that is unacceptable in my opinion but maybe that's how it works.RICHARD ARTHUR S.
Complaint is not for the rep. The rep was great at the desk, my complaint is with the company. Was trying to pick up the last of piece of furniture from ikea, which was there at the time of reservation. This place is great I've been going to them for years & they always have everything I need from boxes to rent 100 blankets at a time and this time was no different. I do not write negative comments, as I work in a customer based industry and it can be subjective. However, when the service is so poor then it comes into questions, is it necessary to inform upper management in order to make the necessary changes to prevent this from happening to future customers and prevent decreased revenue. Pickup restricted to website only. No backup in place. After long hold, phone agent was helpful, but restricted from contacting person who can address issue. People on phone and at location were nice, but prevented by Uhaul from helping me. Pickup took nearly an hour, which is unacceptable. I'm a regular customer, but was not treated as such. Please revisit your website and app, and develop to be properly functional. Please allow your staff to do what they need to in order to assist customers.Robert M.

My experience of being overcharged and not provided any assistance in trying to rectify the matter was unacceptable. I was told to take the matter up with Corporate that theres nothing that can be done in the office (although the charges were placed from this office) it just is the way it is. I returned the rental car on the weekend and tried to check out through the website but the site is not working well. To create an account I needed a verification code sent to my email address what I never received. After I got home I realized it must be a wrong email address, I set up a new one, which was to verify my zip code ( to check if I returned the car to the right location ( and I did) but since I tried to do this from home and my house is in a different zip code via location services of my phone shows I'm not the right place. I gave up the verification process. Unfortunately even I returned the rental car on time ( on the weekend after hours ) I have to pay $20 Service charge as a result of not able to check out through the U-Haul website?Erika V.

The woman that runs U -haul is very nice and pleasant to deal with. I have rented twice from this location. They do seem to have issues with gas. I had a confirmation number I was to pick my truck up at 9 AM 15 footer I caught a Uber there when she put me in the computer someone added another location had taken the truck from underneath me and try to make me go to a different location to pick a truck up after I got in Uber to this location where I made my contract I asked for a utility dolly which you told me would be $10 a day I asked her for six blankets when I left I have the dolly which was a utility dolly not the dolly in the truck she did not give me my six moving blankets so I assumed that I could use the ones that were already in the truck they charge me $20 for those blankets and I only use six of them I did not use the dolly in the truck I was also charged for that they updated me to a 16 footer/I don't feel the extra charges were legit and I will be filing a complaint with visa if you guys do not choose to ratify the situation for meRick B.

Not sure if just this UHAUL location but the gas is a rip off. I went 18 miles!! The gas indicator barely moved and they charged me $26.60. These trucks get 10 miles to the gallon so they are just making money on the fact after a long day of moving I didn't want to go put 2 gallons in the car! They charge $5.60/g so I should have only been charged $11.20. Rip off!Carol B.
