My pick up time and location was changed the evening prior to my confirmed pick up date via email, no confirmation that the email was received. A phone call would’ve been appropriate and appreciated. Upon arrival the location was not opened until 1 hour after my pick up time. No one called to let me or any other costumer know they would be an hour late. Trying to call UHUAL 800 number numerous times to find out the situation and if i would even receive a truck the line was busy or the representative hung up on me or they did not have any information or an update regarding the matter. Once the Uhual location did open i had to wait for them to clean out a truck for me to take into my possession. After leaving the location with the truck i was called 30 min later telling me that i needed to return the truck because i was given a local truck and would be locked out of the truck if i traveled any further outside of the city limits with it. Still unable to to contact Uhual for the remainder of the day because the line would not clear to ring. Will NEVER rent from this location, may consider never renting from Uhual ever again after this experience.

On November 2019, I came to drop a truck at 5:30 pm. Prior to my arrival, I call the location to confirm the business hours and informed the employee who answered that I was on my way. On arrival the location, it was close and the gentleman who own a business beside it call a man called " Guy". He placed the call on speaker for me to hear their conversation and to let Guy know no employees were there. " Guy" said to drop the truck and he would put the truck as delivered on the same day. I received a receipt from U-Haul saying the truck was returned at 10 am the next day, which is false and deceiving. 48h later, I received a called from "Mike" stating he was the manager. I explained the situation and he acted surprised and said this was the first time it happened then saying the employee had an emergency and etc...just more lies!!! The lack of customer service, lies and my experience as me giving them a ZERO!

Go to another uhaul. The sole worker was late to work by 30 minutes and had to cut a lock to his own truck because he lost the keys. Because it is a shared lot with an auto body shop they had to move a bunch of cars around just to get the truck out. Once out the guy parked the truck on the street forcing cars to go around blindly.

The truck although well maintained was old with 130000 miles on it. How about an update. You probably have your better checks at an actual U-Haul location. But this place is open on Sunday which was the requirement.

start supporting after hours drop off. I missed church and singing my solo because I had to wait for the yard to open at 9am. I came a half hour after they closed.

You advertised a 9' cargo van for $19.99 plus $.69 a mile yet when I return and check out I was charged $.79 a mile because it increases after a certain number of miles you drive. False advertising and then was never explained. So frustrated.

Loved how easy the pick up was and the van was brand new. I had no issues until we tried to return the van and the gates to the lot were closed even though we showed up early for drop off and the owners told us the gate would be open. They were accommodating when we returned the next day with the van though so overall it was an okay experience.

The truck smelled like weed. And did not come with the drop down rail which made it so much harder to get furniture in and out of the truck. The gas burned out so fast. Gas is way too expenseove for that.

Location was promised to be a 24 hour drop off...it wasn't .When I arrived the parking lot was cluttered and extremely difficult to maneuver around. Terrible service and as a whole, a shockingly unsatisfying moving experience with U-Haul.

There were no seatbelt extenders,the seatbelt wasn’t long enough to fit my friend and it would’ve helped if the facility had had an extender to accommodate him. Other than that everything was great ??

Rented a pick-up at noon. Told the woman behind the counter we'd return it around 1. She said they closed at 3. Came back at 1 and gates were across the door with a padlock on it. There was another person trying to return a pick-up and another who had reservations for a truck. 3 customers and no employee. She should be fired.

Explain the contract better online and in person. Why is there a rental rate and rental charge? My receipt has changed from online to now. Online it says rent for $19.95 a day but there is a rental charge of $89.00 on top of that. So I'm really renting it for over $100 for the day it's bullshit and seems like false advertising.

Mike at Town Rent-A-Car was a very nice gentleman who had my paperwork transferred from another location to his office so that I wouldn’t have to drive anywhere else and I really appreciate his consideration and when returning the truck in Fontana on Foothill the gentleman there was also awesome and quick!
