The trucks are parked on a reverse incline, so the fuel reads as full. I got about a mile down the road and it was down to 3/4 of a tank. I feel like that was a more accurate number, but I couldn't change it in my check in once it was submitted. I filled it all the way back up before returning it, but if it was full when I picked it up, then it gets 2.9 MPG so that doesn't seem right. Even at 8 MPG i should have only needed 5 gallons, not 12.8 to fill it. The inside of the truck, both cab and box, were very clean, but the outside definitely could have used a hosing down..I didn't have a previous reservation though, so If it had just been returned hours previous, then that makes sense, as the location was quite busy that day. Associates at pickup were very rude and unhelpful. Truck had damages that were not marked or in the pictures. When I called them to tell them they argued that everything was marked and noted. After much convincing they finally came out to see the areas I was talking about and marked them. I should not have to beg someone to do their job when I'm paying for a service. I was the one who was at risk for paying for damages that I didn't create and they should have been happy to help me. The truck was very dirty inside and out. It took me an hour and a half to wash the windows and the inside of the truck so my wife would even get in it. I had to use an automotive bug remover to get everything off the windshield so I could even see. The inside had dried up liquid Stains all over the dash and cup holders. The seats were very dirty. I had to clean and armor-all the entire interior before using the truck. I would have thought with COVID standards being what they are the truck would have been cleaned out.BRAD D.
There were loose sunflower seeds in the drivers door that I left when I returned vehicle. Also, very disappointing to find that this particular uhaul did not come with a ramp and had to lift everything up into the uhaul. I returned a day earlier than scheduled. Poor customer service, cannot trust people at this location. Please make sure that you take pictures of the van before you leave the place while returning otherwise they will charge you for nothing. I'm not sure how there is a fuel charge after filling the gas on what I owe them. They will never respond to the calls and rude responses, please save your money by not renting at this location!Sunil A.

Staff was literally ASLEEP behind the desk @11am????? I need a job there! Not helpful at all - I had to make calls to figure out a drop off and finally called corporate 800#. 24hr. drop off but not allowed to drop outside the gate? Staff then lied and said he called his DM (BS because I am sure it was the opposite) and said his DM would pick up the trailer so as not to leave it "outside" the gate - funny because I went out to eat lunch 2 days later and guess what - the trailer was still in the EXACT spot I dumped it - outside the gate. I used U-haul for the longest time on numerous occasions but will NEVER use again and will let others know of the horrible customer service.Vincent C.

1 - Ensure the clerk confirms expected return time. This did NOT happen when we picked it up and therefore no return details were provided to us since we ended up returning it after hours. We estimated a 24 hour need, not a 20 hour need so the clerk should have confirmed this prior to giving us the keys. 2 - Clerk should show the clients that the mileage noted on the contract matches what is on the truck. We have concerns that the initial (pickup) mileage was incorrect because we drove ~30 miles only and the odometer showed 120! Therefore we ended up paying much more than we should have!!!!! This should have been a very easy rental and ended up being quite frustrating due to ineffective customer service at the rental site and the lack of communication of expectations.William S.

I did the express check in and had everything paid for including denying the safetow option. However when my husband picked it up I was charged for the service. I tried to call the location but was just told I should've gone with my husband to pick it up and make sure it was right. That's a little hard when he's picking up in North Carolina and I'm in Indiana. The lady also said she specifically asked my husband about it. This is a lie because never talked to a lady.
