jeffrey S.I had difficulty with the app finding my location to be able to complete the pick up of the truck. Can you make it so that you can manually put in my location to complete the check in. Otherwise everything went very smooth.

Todd M.Ensure vehicle staging is accurate for self service. Keys should be in the appropriate box as labeled. Some type of remorse should be exemplified in cases where wrong has occurred. Also, customer service rep hung up with me prior to ensuring I was good and set. I had inquired about the $50 guarantee and they told me to hold on, they then spoke with the store rep via speaker phone on my cell, and once done with them, they hung up I never got my guarantee. Pickup was delayed because staging wasn't correct, location was about to give me a different truck rather than giving me the right key, and the truck about to give me, was already pending pickup by someone else (thankfully the CS rep called that out!) Was an uneasy experience overall.

Jacob O.I had a terrible experience with my 15 ft truck and tow dolly rental. The tow dolly's passenger tail light was taped to hold it together but it worked. The truck's steering wheel has a dangerous amount of play in it. These were two signs that I should have requested new equipment but didn't want my trip to AZ to be delayed. Once I loaded my car on the tow dolly, the passenger tire was very low but I thought I could fill it at the truck stop. No luck as the compressor didn't have enough pressure. I had to call U-Haul and they sent Triple J company rep with a new tire but it didn't fit as the wheel well was bent. I talked to another U-Haul rep who found another tow dolly which was 20 minutes away. I arrived there and a Triple J rep was there to assist me. This was around 9:30pm so it was too late to start my trip. Once we started our trip, the excessive play in the steering wheel made it a challenge to drive but got much worse when I hit strong winds through Oklahoma and Arizona. These pieces of equipment should have never been rented out in the condition they were in. I can't say I will ever rent from U-Haul or recommend U-Haul to anyone.
Patrick K.I checked the air in the tires when I got home and one was flat and another was 20 psi low. One would think the rental place would check that out. Ended up having to wait several hours to get the tire replaced. Thankfully I was at home and not stuck on the road.
Karl M.I had some initial issues making contact to confirm directly with the location, later to find out they had some weather related phone issues. Other than that, which I realize wasn't their issue, I had no complaints about their service.

Donald W.Technical issues with the website to return the trailer. Location services could not detect my location via my phone. I have the latest iPhone 12, good Verizon signal strength and location services was ‘allowed' in my settings. Consider being able to bypass this step and possibly receive a fee for being at the wrong location. I spent about 25 minutes on this, to no avail.

Richard W.I called u-haul customer service because the website would not give me the code to open the key box. I was on hold for 30 minutes and then when I explained the problem I was put on hold again for 5 more minutes. I explained the problem to someone else and they put me on hold for 10 more minutes. When I asked repeatedly to give me the code over the phone I became upset and raised my voice and then was hung up on. I logged in and out of my account a few times and finally I was able to get the key box code and complete the pick up process.

Gregory H.I could not get lock box code on my phone for early pickup. You sent to old email account I can no longer access, plus I had to log into U-Haul account that I don't have (as far as I know). Sending the code via text message to my phone or this e-mail would have worked.

Gary E.Uhaul changed our trailer size to a larger unit due to availability issues. Then the unit available did not have properly working lights (several taillights were out). Larger size was more difficult to keep things secure. But we were able to make it work.
