Gordon CI had to drive it back to the original place after moving to South Carolina then I refilled the truck to only get there and be charged and additional 57$ Too pricey for me not to mention the 147 it took rent it

lisa gI ordered a 15 ft truck a few days in advance and when I arrived they told me they can only give me a 26 ft truck. Later that day I got stuck trying to turn around on a narrow road and that resulted in me having to pay a tow truck $415 to get me out. I really wish they were able to give me what I ordered instead of a truck that was over 10 ft longer.

Noah VIt was a hassle to get my things moved the battery kept going dead.had to keep trying to find someone to jump the truck off.and no one really wanted to do it being that big of a truck. The battery was dead when I went and got the uhaul.i really didn't understand why he didn't just give me a different truck.

elaine eTony made sure we had a trailer. Because the one I reserved wasn’t gonna be there. We did get a better one. But it didn’t have the wheel chalk for the bike like said it did. He said it stayed there all time. I felt like if it stayed there, he knew it didn’t. We had to strap it down tighter than should. Was scared it would mess up the forks on bike. But it was okay. We found this out the day before we were picking up the trailer and day we were leaving. So we had to make it work. We were just extremely worried. He did make sure we had a trailer and an upgrade for same price we had reserved. He was extremely nice.

Sherita STrailer worked great for me.....Tony's was closed when I went back at 2:15 pm, so I parked the trailer in the same spot I picked it up. Tony and his young employee were great to work with.

Dywayne BThey didn’t reset the trip mileage on the truck so they tried to say that I drove the truck 2 hundred and something miles and when I picked up the truck I drove 39 miles and the 39 miles back to the drop off location so either the trucks trip mileage wasn’t reset or it’s messed up bc I didn’t drive but maybe a hundred miles or less and they have me 75 miles with the rental

SABRINA HI have never had such a bad experience with U-haul. I told the Customer Service Agent at the Franklin U-Haul that I wanted to rent a truck for one day starting on January 10 and bringing it back in Charleston the next day. I asked them where I would take the rental in Charleston and they said I would be emailed the return site. I was surprised when I found out my rental was in Bessemer City. I was even more surprised to find out I wasn't give the key box code to get the key. It took an hour to get someone at 800-U-Haul to get me a code. My internet on my phone would not work in BC. The Gastonia office would not help me. I called Monday to see where to return my truck. A person told me I had the Truck Illegally. Another representative hung up on me. Then I found out I had a three day retail. I never asked for a three day rental. U-Haul is a mess.

TERESA GHave the center open ON TIME, not an hour and a half late. Make sure the equipment is cleaned out and no trash or dirt is left in the equipment. Have working printers for receipts.

Jimmy HWhere I dropped the trailer off was great! The problem I had is with the original location that I was to drop it off at. CCs, no one was there and when I finally got someone on the phone, they were going to try and get someone over there but 15 minutes later I still hadn’t heard from them. So I called the location where I did drop it off to confirm that I could.
DOUGLAS NI ended up at Tony's Service Center to rent a U-Haul cause I had reserved one in the town i live in and when I got there to pick it up a guy there said the people were out of town and had been for week. So I had to call around and look for another place that had one was Tony's , I had to drive to another which meant more miles and time out of my day of moving. I feel like if you can reserved online at a place that it should be available when you get there.
