Truck ran well and got the job done. Tony's Garage did a great job getting everything setup and explaining the process of the truck rental.

We flew from South Carolina on Friday, and were supposed to pick up our truck on Saturday. Friday afternoon, we received a call telling us the pick up location had no trucks. They did have one, but further away which was a great inconvenience to say the least. We did get some extra miles and an extra day. It’s the least they could’ve done. We were informed that the location would be closed, but there was a way to get the vehicle by going online. We were not told, we would need a third party phone number since my wife and I were both on the rental contract. After many minutes, we found someone and got inside the vehicle to get the key. This is the second time a reservation has changed on us the day before our scheduled pick up. This is unacceptable and if we need to rent a vehicle again, we will try to avoid your company at all costs.

Trailers did not have jacks, they're just resting on the ground, how is single female supposed to safely lift 1200 lbs of equipment. Staff sent someone to help and he dropped trailer on his foot. Lucky he was wearing steel toed boots. Surprised DOT or OSHA isn't aware of this.

I called before hand to get pricing. They told me .79/mile. I told them I'd be picking it up on a Friday morning and returning Saturday. They said great. When I went to get it, they charged me .99/ mile. That is a $36 difference.There are 2 other other facilities I could have used but i'm trying to support local business. I told them what i was quoted and they said "peak hours sorry". Even after i explained the day i'd use it and was quoted on the phone they said "nothing we can do". I even added $20 more gas than i needed to upon return as it's hard to judge how the fuel meter would move. I think a decent business would have tried to give me some kind of break for their mistake. I doubt I'll hear from you as well.

The lady who took care of me was excellent. I told her about our experience with the pick-up location and the U-Haul representative I spoke with originally who was rude and not helpful at all. She apologized for the experience I had and welcomed me to rent from their location next time. Her customer service skills are awesome!

When I visited the location to set up the reservation, the attendant told me that no one would be present and the key would be in a lock box in the truck when I picked up. It wasn't. I started to panic and was on hold with U-Haul when someone came out and told me they had been waiting on me inside. When I finally got on the road, I noticed the steering wheel was about 45 degrees off center and the truck steered erratically. I was very nervous driving it but I only had to go 40 miles so I just did it.

Truck was very dirty. It was the dirtiest truck I have ever picked up from a U Haul dealer. The vehicle had less than a 1/2 tank of gas. Generally it was a mess. Hopefully next time this is not the case.

I had a great experience. The location in which I rented the truck was friendly and professional. The trucks were cleaned and well-maintained. If I ever decide to move again ( I'm not ever moving again) but if I do, I will definitely use U-Haul services again.
