Certainly we need more enclosed trailer in this location and GNS Elmsdale as we deliver luggage for the airlines and we have to use them often. One of the drivers has a truck and uses the large ones my van I usually use the smaller single axlejames W.
the owners at the pictou Irving where I was originally supposed to drop off the truck were very rude and very unprofessional. I was supposed to drop the truck off at there location but when I arrived the woman informed me that I had to take the truck back to stellarton petro canada because they had no room for the truck without emailing or calling me when they had all my contact information, which then made me go over my mileage and burnt more fuel which I was charged for out of my deposit. terrible experience overall and I'll be suggesting that no one should be renting from u haulJordan K.

Please check to ensure all equipment rented is in the truck before pick up time. I rented and was charged for a trolley with my uhaul rental. There was no trolley in the truck when I picked it up. I requested contactless pick-up during hours when the location was closed and so no one was there to help me resolve this. It was extremely difficult moving my furniture without a trolley. The $10 discount does not compensate for that error and the inconvenience it caused.Alex M.

Booked a month in advance for a certain size and come the day before we moved we couldn't get that size so we had to drive 1 hour total in the opposite direction to get a truck which was suppose to be 7 minutes away. They said they would Â« upgrade Â» to a bigger truck for free yet the Â« upgrade Â» was a truck too big and we were not comfortable driving it because it was too big and in the city. Terrible. We had to leave some of our furniture because the truck we had asked for wasn't available and the only other one was too small. Very disappointed.Kevin G.

The trackor dome was TERRIBLE, if I could give a zero I would somehow out reservation got cancelled she said we called ..it's just my husband and I neither of us did, she was rude raising her voice then the other 2 guys were getting their 2 cents in , if I was in such a bind I would have left, we've had a terrible few weeks dealing with racism I looked at my husband in tears and was like why..he says our last name is Brooks then the lady says she's not racist I said no just Roode then she gives us a completely different price saying no were wrong, yelling I'm like just rent me the truck do the paperwork please ....I asked for someone else because she was aweful and says the boss is gone so anyways....we leave the store while driving the truck through the parking lot, she comes out waves me down says oh I guess it's on me I guess I apologize I canceled the wrong one I said wow you have terrible customer service your very insulting right fr the beginning cutting me off not letting me speak accusing me of lying . She says well you insulted me calling me racist ...kept on raising her voice I said well you have a good day I don't have time for you and closed the door and drove off, then we get to Truro U-Haul storage only to find out the tractor dome messed up our reservation booked two rooms and gave wrong price, so Truro fixes the room but can't do anything about the price because the tractor dome had us returning the truck in biblehill causing more kilometers...I think she did it on purpose, we have used U-Haul many times and this was the worst and we have another move coming up once we find a place, were actually homeless and our stuff in storage . Based on the tractor dome and how she treated us I will never use U-Haul again and I will tell everyone about the terrible service how we were overcharged and we actually we're ordering a shed fr the tractor dome for our new place but told them to cancel it , she made a terrible situation even worse and I didn't think it was possible. I moved my sister home fr charlottown and never paid 300 ..we were told 29.99 plus gas and kilometers...I have so much going on and certainly don't understand why we were treated so poorly.Darren B.

Wonderful service. Greeting as soon as I walked through the door, and with-in minutes I was ready to go hooking up the trailer. Second time ever renting a trailer, first time was directed to the tractor dome because they had the trailer I was after. The location was okay but it was not the pickup location I had requested and the vehicle was not ready.. I was informed of this 30 mins before the scheduled pickup time. It was not the size vehicle I thought I was renting. No furniture blankets. Have the correct vehicle available at the correct location.Richard M.

There was a problem with the computer booking system and it was 45 minutes to fill out and get the trailer, the agent and location were great but the system itself sucked in this instance.michael W.

I reserved a truck in truro. Then the booking center changed my truck at 930 am to a cargo van at 4pm. Had to drive and pay for an extra 100km. While i was at Milford they had at least 3 requests for same truck during my reservation .. the individual locations are great but are crippled due to headquartersSTEPHEN L.
I don't have a problem with the location the truck was clean and the people were friendly my problem is When I got in the truck I noticed immediately there was no gas which was fine so I drove to the gas station immediately I then continued on to do my move once I got back to the drop off location I was charged $80.13 for gas that I already put in and paid for so then I paid for it twice but here's the real kicker the gas it's self was only $36.16 there was a $30 fill up fee .... so I was already pissed off to begin with that there was no gas in the truck and I had to first drive to get gas then you guys charge me for gas a second time and this crazy fill up fee .. extremely unprofessional I was very very disappointedâ€¦ Not to mention when I went to the drop off location which was on windmill Road in Dartmouth the girl at the counter was extremely rude to me the guy who did the inspection forgot to even write down the kilometres or the gasâ€¦ At which time they said the truck was already taken to the fieldâ€¦ Then some girl said she would go up and get the pictures and send them to the other girl who was at the counter through Snapchat we waited for 25 minutes for these pictures to come through on Snapchat which again is highly unprofessional they never ended up coming in because of pain After all that time past they said there must not be Wi-Fi on the hill another guy said they probably wouldn't even be able to get an accurate gas reading because the truck was parked on a hillâ€¦ I believe I was ripped off and I would really like that portion of my bill back it's not fair and it's very highly unprofessionalâ€¦ Also I was promised a one month free storage coupon which I asked for three times but I was so modelled by the time I left I didn't even realize she didn't give it to me until I was homeconstance T.
The truck interior was filthy....good thing most of our items were boxes. We booked our 15 foot two weeks in advance but it was not available and we ended up with a 20 ft (at same price) but from another location. Staff was great, however.Cate T.

They sent me with a trailer that had a very unsafe tire with dryrot, I had to call roadside assistance to get the tire aired up on the highway, then drove to the nearest Uhaul, they didn't have another trailer, then I was told to go to Coast Tire where they changed the tire, they told me it was very close to blowing up which frankly could have caused me to have a serious accident. The dealer said that they don't inspect the equipment that some one from U-Haul does and deemed this trailer road safe. This whole thing took most of my day and I feel I should be reimbursed. It is very scary that your company allows dangerous equipment to travel on the roads, the dealer refused to reimburse me and told me to call U-Haul.Susan R.
