Similar problems at drop off. I was told that I could drop at the nearest U-Haul location to my destination. Again, about 48 hours before drop off I received a text message directing me to drop off at a location over 35 miles away in another state. I tried to drop off at a local U-Haul location and was informed that there would be a $300 fee for not dropping a the indicated location. After driving to that location I was told that the drop location was change to another location even further away and there would be a $275 fee unless I dropped there. If U-Haul expects me to shuttle their inventory around for them, their rental rates are way out of line. This was certainly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again and WILL discourage anyone who intends to. Thanks for nothing.Randall E.
