I reserved a truck in Greensboro, only to be re-routed the day of pickup to Winston Salem (30 minutes away). Location was helpful but had to set up for late night pickup as I had to change my plans to accommodate the inconvenience. System for automated pickup did not work. Hold times for help from Uhaul were exceptionally long. I was forced to sit in a parking lot, next to the truck for 45 minutes waiting for help from Uhaul. A lot of wasted time late at night.Michael C.

The customer service was excellent! There were several people in the office when I got there but they handled everything so professionally and took care of each one of our individual needs! This will always be my go-to for renting U-Hauls!TANYA M.
The instructions to pick up my uhaul were very confusing. The language was written ooorly and did not make a lot of sense. In addition to this, there was no information as to which uhaul was mine, and I kind of just had to walk up to one and start messing w the lock until I figured out which was mine. I also ordered (and fully pre-paid) for a bunch of equipment including blankets, a furniture Dolly, and a utility dolly, and none of it was provided to me which made my move that much more difficult.Nicole D.

Unfortunately, probably nothing about this, but the intersection to get on the main roads is horrible for getting out into traffic. Also, hand truck was not in the truck... made move a little more difficult than expected that took a little longer. Hailey was great though, very friendly, upbeat and apologetic. I did have a very difficult time getting reception to sign in for the truck. Finally had to call to get the code to get the key. Website would NOT pull up, but it was searching.Anna F.

When we arrived the lock box wasn't in the back of the truck and there wasn't a key for us. It's all contactless now so this was a big issue. The facility was technically closed that day but luckily someone just happened to be around who ended up helping us. Also didn't like that the dolly and moving blankets had to stay zipped tied in the back of the truck, taking up space. When we asked to take them out before we left we were told we'd have to rent them If the zip tie was broken. Felt like a scheme to make more money off of people.Maya F.

Be upfront with the pricing. No one should be surprised when returning the vehicle and being slapped with an invoice 50% higher than anticipated. 1.) I replaced the gas used as indicated on the guidelines yet was charged over $10 for being off by 1/16th of a gallon. 2.) Because this facility did not have the van I wanted they provided me with a truck at the same rate YET did not tell me I was being charged mileage at the higher truck rate. 3.) I was quoted a mileage on the website YET when I got the invoice I was told I was being charged a higher weekend rate. 4.) Was charged $7/day for use of the forklift. Was never told I would be charged for its use. (I am glad I didn't use the other moving equipment in the truck or I would have been charged an exorbitant amount for that as well). So, long story short, had U-Haul been completely honest and upfront with their pricing policy and use of equipment, I could have made a more informed decision and not felt taken advantage of. I do hope this is not a U-Haul business policy but rather something with this local office.Karen K.

We were told that a uhaul service technician brought the rental to that location. We left after taking a video and didn't realize That the ratchet on the driver side was broken until we got to our destination to pick up our car. We contacted the rental place and they told us to send them the video we took. They then told us that it was a U-Haul service technician that brought the car hauler and dropped it off at their location. They said they're would be no charge to us since it was not our fault I would say their communication back to us was great. I will definitely use you all again in the future as a U-Haul's in general have been great equipment. I understand that things will slip by once in a while and I guess I was just a victim of that.I will definitely make sure that I look at stuff better in the future to ensure that I can identify any issues before I leave the rental facility.Frederick H.
I was told I could check the truck out online so I drive to dealer after hours followed web directions it would not allow back in so I wasted 2hours no truck the next morning went back finally was able to get truck when I returned the truck tried to do it online it would not allow me to i called. 800 was put on hold forever then transferred at least 3 times before I was able to check truck in that was well over a hour this whole process cost me time and moneyBill W.
