I was not expecting the trailer hitch to be sitting on the ground. Thank goodness I had someone with my that was strong enough to to lift the trailer. Not very impressed. The staff on location were great people, just was not impressed that the trailer (heavy) has to be pick up to get it onto the vechical

I had prepaid for and order it on-line. It still took close to 45 minutes to get the transaction completed. I received no paperwork from their office. Once The paperwork was done I went outside to the trailer figuring he would come out to help hook it up but he didnt. I ended up standing in the mud hooking it up myself. I went back into the shop once I was done but no-one was around. When I loaded the car onto the trailer it came loose and damage the tailgate of my new truck!!!

The trailer had a flat when we picked it up. Third rental from the same location and this happened only once. Roadside service was given the wrong your size by uhaul resulting in us waiting an additional hour for them to go get the right tire. We waited 2.5hrs ok the road and missed an important event that was the whole reason we rented the trailer in the first place.

While the person at the Richmond location was very helpful the operator at the Manotick location was not as helpful. I was told that I could return the vehicle at any U-Haul location but when I arrived at the Manotick location he informed me that I had to return it back at the Richmond location and this added some 10-20 kilometers to my ride.

The car hauler that I've rented had lots of damage, it was old, some light ware missing. This trailer is ready for a scrap yard.

This has nothing to do with the location but my overall experience with uhaul while reserving my moving truck was extremely poor. I don't understand how they can change someone's reservation date without even contacting the customer. The lady who works at the stone solution was so kind and patient. I felt really sorry for her because it was obvious uhaul screwed over a lot of customers and she bore the blame.

The Stone Solution was great to deal with, they more than compensated for the inept service provided by the customer experience agent and scheduling who modified my booking. This is how scheduling stuffed up: 1. spent combined 34 minutes waiting to be served on 1800-stuff-you. 2. was put through to scheduling (in French) who modified my booking and changed the pickup location to 30 km from where I originally wanted to pick up the trailer. 3. They said to pick it up at 9 am after I explicitly asked if this location was open at 9am. Check recording for training purposes. They opened at 10 am. 4. Sent me to a location without the required equipment. The agent at stone solutions worked with me for close to an hour to find an appliance dolly. Got very little support from uhaul, in fact if not for the service of the rep at stone solutions, i'd have been very upset. Stone Solutions rep gets a 10/10, uhaul customer service and scheduling get 1/10. This is based on you having a phone and answering it eventually, even though everything they did after that point was a disaster. Do not call and expect great customer service before a long weekend, they have already checked out and are going through the motions.

I completed my reservation online for a different location and told me it was approved. Then I received an email that the truck I wanted and location I wanted were not available. Not sure why it would say I could book it if it wasn't available. Clearly the website is not "real time". Kind of upsetting because I ended up having to drive 40 mins out of my way. I also asked for blankets (cover my furniture) and they were not in my order. Granted I didn't end up paying but I did put them in my original order. I think the online feature is delayed. The truck was new and in great shape. Rep. I deal with at the location was nice. Price is descent.

The night we dropped off the trailer was very dark so it was hard to find the sign for the location at night. I'm sure this location would be easy to find during the day though. The drop off location was dark but that is only an issue at night. It was very convenient to have a drop off location down in Richmond.

Rented a tow dolly. It had a bad vibration at 80 km/hr, like the wheels were never balanced. The clerk at the location had no idea how to check me out, and had to be talked through it over the phone, taking 20 minutes. The location was not close to the one I'd indicated that I'd preferred, and was 20 minutes in the wrong direction from which I was traveling.
