I felt very uncomfortable with the pick up location and the drop off location. I was asked if I wanted to purchase "smoking" accessories that look like items to smoke drugs. The "kid" that did my uhaul information could not answer all of my questions. Will never use that location again.

The truck was filthy. Trash in the cab and in the back. Had less than 1/4 tank of gas the form we were given showed we were supposed to have 3/8th of a tank. The guy that checked us out did not come out to the truck to verify everything. Once we saw the condition of the truck and no gas we went back into the store and then he came out and looked at everything. He did apologize and then cleaned out the cab and the back. They also could not pull up our drop off location in Scottsboro, so we just googled the closest place that was still open to where we were at and ended up returning it in Grant. We actually left 3/4 tank of gas and a clean truck when we were done with it.

Customer service was horrible person had no idea what they were doing took over 45 min to check the truck out. Other times we have rented out was 15 min.

the man at the counter did not speake english very good and ask him if the unit had a loading ramp and he was totaly lost almost walked out and went some place. I will not rent form them again

Get somebody there that knows what to do. Initially was told to come back 5 hours later. Then it took over 1.5 hours to talk him through the process and get the truck. Unacceptable. Will not be using u-haul in the future.

Truck was in need of a wash. Interior was fine. It was returned late, which slowed down our move and added a level of chaos. We had initially been assigned a truck in Naperville, which would have been a very inconvenient pickup. All personnel who helped us rework our plans in the morning and mid afternoon were very accommodating. We appreciated the discount in cost to compensate for the inconvenience.

I was very satisfied with my uHaul experience. Marathon location staff was curtious and quick while attending to gas station customers. I would return to this location.

Never go to this location, they dont clean out their trucks, and when i returned the truck, the clerk started swearing at me and yelling because i supposedly didnt fill the tank all the way to the line, when i filled it over the line that i took it at. He then began to curse and yell at me in the gas station, in front of customers and told me i am cheap and to never come to this location again. Very poor people skills, very poir customer service, and because of this ignorant jerk, i will never use U-Haul again.

I had to fix the taillights, turns out 2 were unplugged at the lights. The door was sticky and had to be yanked very hard to both open and close.

The location seemed a little incosistent with the truck rental. I had a reservation for a pickup and drop off, and was told that they didnt offer that option. This happened after I had already done the inspection on the truck and was getting ready to process my payment. For some reason, after the clerk got on the phone I was notified that yes I would be able to do the pick up and drop off, but we a different truck. I dont know, but I was getting weary. Also, I think the uhaul software was a little slow on this location. It was taking forever to load reservations.

I rented the truck for four hours and spent an hour and 45 minutes waiting. There was something with the truck rental process attached to the vehicle that I rented, but I was told to wait and wait while others picking up and returning trucks came and went with similarly long waits.

This location Kept telling me that I kept the truck longer than they expected. I rented the truck at $19.95 per day plus mileage. After about 4-5 hours they were calling me to find out when I would be returning the vehicle so they could rent it out again... Not what I expected from your firm... When I finally returned after about 6-7 hours of use they again said I was late... This is not acceptable from your locations and I would be hesitant to use these people again... Some other sites would have been closer but they did not have the vehicle that I needed...

Truck rentals aren't a priority for them and it shows. They want to add charges even when it's not warranted. They for got to give me back my drivers loc, so I had to go back and get it. These guys wanted to charge me for that return trip mileage....ridiculous.

I had a poor experience with the Uhaul service. I had placed a reservation for use of a 14' Uhaul truck for Jan 1st. When I went to pick the truck up the location was closed even though it had it to be open when I placed the reservation. I had the day scheduled out and had to push back my plans. When I called the customer service line I explained the situation to the rep who had to connect me to a different rep better suited to help me in my area. When I was transfer to the other rep I had to repeat my situation. The second rep didn't come off to helpful in coming up with ideas, she was able to locate 2 other locations further away from where I was at and I vented my frustration of having to drive the distance let alone pay for the miles, there was little empathy. As I had plans already set with people to help, I suggested the use of a small 10' truck at a closer location. The rep was able to find one in the town next to me, however, I felt that as a customer service rep the rep should have been able to come up with that solution with out me having to come up with one. I don't normal don't voice my frustration like this, however, I feel that no other person should have to go through the frustration I had to. Need less to say I will not be using the Uhaul service in the future.

I had to go to separate locations to get my tow dolly and my moving van. They were 45 mins apart! Why couldn't I go to one location for both items? You may want to improve on that Uhaul because I will not be going to you anymore for future moves.

The owner would not even fill out a condition report when I was picking up the truck. After I told him that there were scrapes etc. on the truck did he pull out the sheet and asked me to go out, mark it and bring it back.

I made the reservation for 9am, but when I went to pick up the truck, the guy said I had made the reservation for 12pm. My friends were coming to help me move at 10, so I had to rearrange my schedule just for the truck. Moving is already stressful enough, so it would be a great help to reserve trucks for when the person actually said they needed it online. Thanks.

Its in a gas station. I felt bad for the one guy in the station who had to take care of gas customers and Uhaul customers. The employees were nice. The location was okay.

I'm not upset at the location I picked up the Uhaul from, I'm upset at the fact I reserved online a 14 foot truck and they couldn't provide one for me. Since they didn't have that truck I had to make due with a 10 foot truck. I did make it work and they did give me a discount on the milleage. The truck wasn't clean inside it had some kind of animal's hair all over the place. The rep on the phone was very rude. I don't think the discount I received was good enough. Not only that since I had a smaller truck we had to shove everything in there a few pieces of my furniture was scratched. In the future I would recommend you letting the customer know a few days in advance not the night before that the truck they ordered won't be available.

1.You need to make a uniformed system at least in the form of reservations or calling. I say this after we had called three different locations being bounced around different Uhaul representatives (having to tell them our situation over and over again) to reserve a truck at the last minute because where we wanted to pick up a truck (DeKalb, IL) could not happen and they sent us to Sandwich, IL (45 minutes out of our way after making a reservation a week before). 2.Make a Uhaul representative for each store and have signage. There was no signage for the Uhaul store where we picked up the truck and no dedicated uhaul person to help us, I had to drive by the Marathon gas station a few times before I realized that was where the Uhaul trucks were kept. There was no dedicated Uhaul person, only a gas station attendant, I had to wait in between customers getting candy, lottery tickets, gas and other items making my wait 20+ minutes for a 5 minute transaction.

The manager of the site was a bit over welmed. With both the gas station and the truck rental he had his hands full. However he did very well. A+

Renting the equipment from the regular gas station clerk was time consuming and awkward. Other gas station customers had to wait or had to be allowed to interrupt our U-Haul experience. A dedicated U-haul person would have been much more preferable.

Customer service was horrible it took 45 minutes for him to figure out the contract. Gas tank was not filled up all the way, and even as I tried to dispute with the rep. he argued and was very rude. I ended up paying for the use 23 miles $35 to refill the tank which was unfair. Horrible experience with the rep. I would NOT recommend this location

I had placed an order for the truck and furniture pads online. The owner of this place did not receive the pads and placed two calls before I came to try to get them. He called U-Haul when I arrived so that I could be referred to another location to get the pads. The owner was very helpful, but corporate office dropped the ball.

The clerk at the gas station took over 30 minutes to get me my truck. He was taking phone calls and helping other customers that came in after me. It was also listed as the closest location to where I was moving from but was 15 minutes away.

The service workers where difficult to understand and there seemed to be miscommunication between the on line service and the workers/clerks at the office. On line service also did not inform that the "office" was a gas station. Spent several trips going up and down the block trying to locate the address.

While this location was able to provide me with a truck on he date I requested; it was not as large as I needed and will now need to make two trips. Being trips. Causing me to spend another $400. Thanks U- haul. Compete BS!!!

It was inconvenient to have my debit card temporarily charged for more than I used as it made those funds unavailable for a couple of days. Otherwise, service was good and the guy who handled the transaction was efficient, experienced and could answer my questions well. A good experience.

There was only one guy working at the time and other customers were priority. It took 20 mins. to get the truck.

Cashier at Marathon could not find reservation and when he did he told me that I needed to use a different credit card. I made the reservation with the card I gave him and for some reason on his end it would not work. He contacted support services on the web and it was not working. It took 30 minutes to finish transaction. He kept taking gas customers instead of finishing the problem at hand. I do not think I should have had to pay full price for my aggravation.

24 hour service 7 days a week is great when dropping off. I went to the original drop off site and found everything locked up by 4:00pm on a Sat.

We had to manually move a U-Haul trailer out of the way to get our truck out of the parking lot. The trucks were parked 12 inches apart and space was very tight trying to get out of the parking lot. The rental agent was not very helpful he just acted as if we were incompetent for not being able to manuver the truck in the tight space.
