Ordered 3 dollys with my uhaul 4 weeks in advance. They did not have them when I showed up so I had to move a 3 BR house without any Dolly’s. Pretty disappointing considering I did everything I was supposed to do and UHaul failed to provide the equipment that I paid for. They refunded me but that did not solve the problem of needing Dolly’s on the day of my move.

Have properly operating equipment. Such as no broken lights, no broken mirrors and all accoutrements for the trailer still attached. For example the tow dolly we rented had to be exchanged at another location as soon as we hit the road because the fender was wagging in the wind and the brake lights and blinkers were not working . Also the mirror on the passenger's side of the truck was smashed.

1) The "check engine" light was on in the vehicle. 2) Gas seemed to be coming out of the engine at one point. 3) Vehicle didn't have a ramp (which wasn't mentioned on website or at time of reservation). 4) Employee that helped check in/out the vehicle had poor customer service. There was a long wait before being helped.

My only complaint, and this has nothing to do with The OW, was that the trailer required a 1 7/8 ball rather than the standard 2 inch ball, so that was a pain in the neck!

At the last day I called causeway they said I had to pickup at Earhartt. I planned to pickup at causeway near my son home,, but no I had to go into New Orleans with my motor home. Very in convenient to manuever around town when you don't know where you are in traffic.

The lady who take of us (the manager/owner - not sure) was excellent. Very personable, very helpfull and gave excellent customer service. I will not rent a uhual from anywhere else but from The OW LLC.

Whoever used the can before smoked cigarettes in the can and it smelled so terribly the entire time. We tried to air it out, but it was pretty horrible. It made me nervous because we were transporting furniture and do not want the cigarette smell to get caught inthe fabric.

The best U-Haul experience I’ve ever had! Online pre-checkin was easy. Equipment was clean and ready when I got there. 15’ foot truck was easy to handle. Check-out was easy too! After using several locations with less than desirable results, will be using this location exclusively from now on! Would recommend this location!!!

the people working this location were distracted, disorganized, could not find my reservation, seemed confused about what to do. The U-Haul website needs considerable work. I was not able to use my phone to change the drop off site. Attempts to make contact by phone were useless. On hold for 15 minutes+, no oppty to leave a voice mail.

I arrived at my scheduled time. The folks here were very cordial and there was absolutely nothing unpleasant in my dealings with the personnel. But in my opinion, the business is not really staffed or set up to be an equipment rental. I was capable of (and didn't mind) hooking up the car transport and inspecting it (I've used these many times before). But, I might not be a "typical" customer, and ... I'm glad that I didn't send my wife to pick up the trailer.

The headlights didn't work, but it was not a big problem for me, as I drove minimal distance at night. I informed the rental site and they seemed eager to fix it.

There was no clear marking for where to drop off the trailer, and there were not even any indications that the store was a U-Haul location.

Incredibly nice staff, but they were not prepared to receive the trailer. They didn't even know they were a U-Haul drop-off site until I told them. The whole staff tried very hard to rectify the situation and make it seamless, which I appreciated. However, days after my drop-off, I received an emailed receipt showing that U-Haul had charged me $100.01 for unreturned items. At the return center, I stood with the staff and confirmed the return of my 18 blankets and dolly. I'm now in the process of challenging both of these charges, but I lack proper documentation to do so since the staff was not prepared with documents everything was clear. They simply made copies of my rental contract and had me sign that. While I will continue to challenge these claims until I receive a refund, it's very regretful to be in this position to begin with.
