I booked for 24 hrs. When I went to pick it up, He said its only available for 4 hrs. I had already scheduled time for laborers so I had to manage everything in 4hrs. It was terrible experience at uhaul this location.

The experience with the app was ridiculous. You guys should take a page from National rental car. All the picture taking was crazy. The truck had 1/8 of gas in it when I got it, so that’s how I brought it back. Ridiculous. As soon as I picked it up I had to head straight to a gas station.

Do not rent from this location!!! The quick and simple online reservation turned into a nightmare because the owner slipped in additional charges that I did not ask for nor was I even asked if I wanted them when I picked up the van. As a matter of fact he did not even have the mattress covers that I did want. Efforts to have the owner refer to my original reservation (a cargo van for $19.95 at $.69 per mile, with no additional insurance or materials) were brushed off by him saying "it is all done electronically" - which at first seemed wonderfully convenient until I returned the van after just two hours. I traveled no more than 25 miles. Luckily I took a video of the van inside and out before I used the van and pictures of the gas gauge and mileage upon returning. Just to note, that van was not the cleanest. After asking if there was anything to sign when I returned the van, the owner stated no and again "it is all done electronically". Seemed great...right?? Wrong, wrong, wrong!!! Less than an hour later I receive an alert that my credit card was charged twice and emails for two receipts which included charges I did not ask for and a completely different vehicle with both receipts totaling over $122! I returned to the UHaul location. No one was there. I called the UHaul location phone. The owner stated that he was "on the road". When I inquired why I was charged twice and for items I did not request he stated he would have to take a look at it when he returned. There was no one else at the location to talk to and I live about one hour away. I protested and was truly not pleased with how all of this turned out. The owner showed very poor customer service and literally started cursing...yes cursing at me on the phone and then he hung up. I had to call the UHaul 800 number to file a formal complaint. In the end, I did receive a reimbursement receipt for the overcharges but it has been a week and the refund still has not posted to my card. All they should have done was void the second transaction for starters but no, they allowed the charges to post. I do not recommend using this UHaul location at all. Quick and simple online reservations...Yes, but NOT after you return the rental to this UHaul location. Friendly customer service...this UHaul location is NOT. Buyer Beware!!!

Store was NOT open. Had to wait over 20 mins for a returned call to get the key out the box. On top of all that, the dolly I requested AND paid for was NOT in the U-Haul. Very poor location.

The owner of this location is not at the location for pick-up. He leaves a number posted on the door to call. When you call the number he is RUDE and unwilling to help. He tries to talk you through the automated pick-up but the system was down. After multiple calls he finally showed up and was even more RUDE. This location needs to be shut down. There are plenty of other rental locations in the area. I will never use this location again and will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Send a small video link on how to do self service rental, or at the time of booking, it was little confusing, to get started, process was smooth but to get started little confusing

The truck had AC issues abs light on engine light on and just overall bad truck !!!

“Systems were down” when my approval for rental went through, soI was not able to rent for the time I was approved for online. The system should not allow someone to book for a time they cannot use the rental for.

My experience with this U-haul was very positive and my interactions with the manager were great. He answered questions that I had and the over all process turned out great for me.

The location was closed & when I called the # listed on door & my text confirmation (804-270-7644) I was told by the man who answered "don't Fuck w/ me, I'm closed on Sundays" This was 3rd location I've been to trying to get my rental, he was the rudest, all 3 locations were unprofessional. I didn't even get my dolly I rented. THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE...

The renting of the truck was an excellent experience, however I paid for moving help which I didn’t get, the company I selected was in NC, I don’t know why it was an option in VA. The worker from the moving company called me back to tell me she can get me one mover, what in the world and I supposed to do with one mover.

The owner was closing early to go on vacation. Admittedly I was 40 mins lat from the scheduled time but the store should have still been open for business until the stated closing time.
