I booked for 24 hrs. When I went to pick it up, He said its only available for 4 hrs. I had already scheduled time for laborers so I had to manage everything in 4hrs. It was terrible experience at uhaul this location.

The experience with the app was ridiculous. You guys should take a page from National rental car. All the picture taking was crazy. The truck had 1/8 of gas in it when I got it, so that’s how I brought it back. Ridiculous. As soon as I picked it up I had to head straight to a gas station.

Do not rent from this location!!! The quick and simple online reservation turned into a nightmare because the owner slipped in additional charges that I did not ask for nor was I even asked if I wanted them when I picked up the van. As a matter of fact he did not even have the mattress covers that I did want. Efforts to have the owner refer to my original reservation (a cargo van for $19.95 at $.69 per mile, with no additional insurance or materials) were brushed off by him saying "it is all done electronically" - which at first seemed wonderfully convenient until I returned the van after just two hours. I traveled no more than 25 miles. Luckily I took a video of the van inside and out before I used the van and pictures of the gas gauge and mileage upon returning. Just to note, that van was not the cleanest. After asking if there was anything to sign when I returned the van, the owner stated no and again "it is all done electronically". Seemed great...right?? Wrong, wrong, wrong!!! Less than an hour later I receive an alert that my credit card was charged twice and emails for two receipts which included charges I did not ask for and a completely different vehicle with both receipts totaling over $122! I returned to the UHaul location. No one was there. I called the UHaul location phone. The owner stated that he was "on the road". When I inquired why I was charged twice and for items I did not request he stated he would have to take a look at it when he returned. There was no one else at the location to talk to and I live about one hour away. I protested and was truly not pleased with how all of this turned out. The owner showed very poor customer service and literally started cursing...yes cursing at me on the phone and then he hung up. I had to call the UHaul 800 number to file a formal complaint. In the end, I did receive a reimbursement receipt for the overcharges but it has been a week and the refund still has not posted to my card. All they should have done was void the second transaction for starters but no, they allowed the charges to post. I do not recommend using this UHaul location at all. Quick and simple online reservations...Yes, but NOT after you return the rental to this UHaul location. Friendly customer service...this UHaul location is NOT. Buyer Beware!!!

Store was NOT open. Had to wait over 20 mins for a returned call to get the key out the box. On top of all that, the dolly I requested AND paid for was NOT in the U-Haul. Very poor location.

The owner of this location is not at the location for pick-up. He leaves a number posted on the door to call. When you call the number he is RUDE and unwilling to help. He tries to talk you through the automated pick-up but the system was down. After multiple calls he finally showed up and was even more RUDE. This location needs to be shut down. There are plenty of other rental locations in the area. I will never use this location again and will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

“Systems were down” when my approval for rental went through, soI was not able to rent for the time I was approved for online. The system should not allow someone to book for a time they cannot use the rental for.

My experience with this U-haul was very positive and my interactions with the manager were great. He answered questions that I had and the over all process turned out great for me.

The location was closed & when I called the # listed on door & my text confirmation (804-270-7644) I was told by the man who answered "don't Fuck w/ me, I'm closed on Sundays" This was 3rd location I've been to trying to get my rental, he was the rudest, all 3 locations were unprofessional. I didn't even get my dolly I rented. THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE...

The renting of the truck was an excellent experience, however I paid for moving help which I didn’t get, the company I selected was in NC, I don’t know why it was an option in VA. The worker from the moving company called me back to tell me she can get me one mover, what in the world and I supposed to do with one mover.

I did the 24/7 check in and check out. Picked up Friday evening, Saturday morning I get a call and the caller said "you about done with the truck?" No introduction or anything. I explained we had the truck until that evening, he told me I needed to return it, he had a customer at his door ready to pick it up, I never should have been given the truck, he was extremely rude. Said the call center didn't know what they were doing. It was an awful experience.

First you should fire that policy maker who came up with the idea of charging customer a hold after finalizing a transaction at least three days earlier. You must love the money not your customer. I would say everyone in my community chatting that U-Haul sucks. No more U-Haul renting. I will keep reviewing you guys on google.

Online pickup service is terrible. They put the wrong key in the lockbox and it took over an hour to correct. There were also issues with billing. Overall poor experience. The only way I would use Uhaul again is by going directly through a brick & mortar store so there is an actual agent to talk to in person if/when there are issues.

When something goes wrong at a place of business, it’s ultimately the owner’s responsibility. If you give the wrong information to uhaul’s app, that’s your responsibility. If you place the key in the incorrect lockbox, that’s your responsibility. If you selected the right lockbox, but provided the incorrect code, that’s your responsibility. If you imply the customer is stupid and just not jiggling the dial hard enough (even if the equipment is faulty...your responsibility) you clearly messed up on multiple levels, that it is “your problem”, not my problem, and not uhauls like I was told rather rudely. When you own a business, sometimes you do have to work on a Saturday morning, especially when you need to correct simple mistakes. The location was also closed during stated business hours for the truck return. I will recommend to friends and family to use other uhaul locations.

Be present for the rental. No one was in store upon arrival or drop off. 10 coverage fee was charged and i declined that online. The money needs to be refunded to my account or I will dispute the charges. 571-235-3285

I was charged for furniture pads when I didn’t receive them. I found out when I pick the truck up. My wife went to another location to get pads and they complained about having to deal with renting the pads to her. Their system would not work so after another wasted 15 minutes she left empty-handed. Not happy with either of these elements of our experience.

Place was close when we tried to return the truck. It was about 3:30pm and the sign on the door said that the place closed at 4. But another sign said that if the person was out of the office, to call a number. however, there was no answer when we called.

Says 19.95 on the truck, used the 9'cargo van for 6 hours, put on approximately 150 miles, the van was FILTHY disgusting, was billed $125. Was quoted the day before from another location roughly $60. Will use uhauls competitors in the future, dishonest company

I used the 24-hour drop off feature at this location, so I didn't interact with personnel or go into a store. But the drop-off area was a parking lot in a shopping center, so parking was scarce and parking spaces were sized for cars, not rental trucks. I dropped off the truck on a Sunday evening (it wasn't due until Monday morning). About lunch time on Monday, I called the store to make sure they'd gotten the truck and processed my return. Someone answered the phone with a generic "hello," so I had to assume I'd reached the right place. When I asked if they'd gotten my truck, he took my name and said, "Yes, we got it." That's it. I think I should've gotten a call first thing acknowledging my return, at least an email or paperwork confirmation.

Pick up was 1:30 paperwork said 11:57. Van had tire dash light fault showing. Took me 3 times to get someone on the phone to tell me its ok just take it. Went in a day early to drop it off. Noone there again at during business hours. Had to call uhaul 800 number to let them know the return app would not work. Got there at 2:00 and my email receipt said 4:00. Returned a day early and was charged for the day anyway. Never will use that location again!! The place is closed all the time during regular business hours!! Very unreliable!!

Charged for equipment that was not given to me. Owner or agent was very rude to my wife when she called him for help with our rental. Owner left unclear and contradictory return instructions. Lockbox for key was open. I would never rent another truck from this location and doubt I will rent from UHaul again unless my concerns are addressed.

Before we take the vehicle if you can provide step-by-step instructions printed out for self service drop off it will be great. I put the keys in the dropbox and then found out about the process of taking pictures of mileage and uploading it and so on.
