I returned the truck yesterday and received a charge for returning the truck today. This doesn't make any sense and was incorrect. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 days for my funds to be refunded, You need to improve how you handle returned vehicles and communicate with customers.

I returned the auto transport before I returned the 20' truck due to previous moving company canceled my appointment (unavailability labor/COVID-19)...the next moving company was going to be late, subsequently making my rental returns late. The auto transport was billed and I didn't want it billed separate from truck...paid for both the same time in Atlanta. These rentals were supposed to be paid together with cash (checking account in GA is closed)...this billing caused overdraft fees on the account. I was told there was nothing that could be done to change the account from being billed and instead I couldn't pay with cash. If a customer spends $1700.00 + (rentals, boxes, insurance, furniture pads, etc.) and trusts U-Haul equipment and service and pays an additional $170.00 for late fee returns due to circumstances out of their control...you would think U-Haul values every customers appreciation of their service and cancel the billing and take more cash instead...but in my case, the company didn't. I drove 2100+ miles (Atlanta-Phoenix) and still owe money on a overdraft charge when all of a sudden my cash isn't accepted to close my obligations. There should be more consideration concerning cross country travel to assist customers with unfortunate circumstances that has paid a lot of money and use of their equipment. I trusted the service before but now I don't...customers keep the business afloat and not how much the company can fleece you out of money.
