Overcharged for fuel dispite filling the tank to its specified volume. Not appreciated.Luca O.
The service was good, nothing to complain about there, however the physical location while convenient was pretty sketchy. Trucks parked on the street and at different locations, trailers on sidewalks etc, made drop off difficult.Jeremy K.
There were not enough staff at the location to serve customers. The employee was working as hard as he could but the demand was too high for one person. I tried to contact customer service and was very disappointed in the difficulty I experienced. The online web chat message was read and closed, then I waited on hold for 35 minutes before giving up. When I emailed with my concerns, I was asked if everything was happy since I received the truck. Upon saying no, I was told I would receive a 25 dollar creditâ€¦. Which was never emailed. Trying to reach customer service was extremely frustrating and difficult. I did not feel valued or respected.Melvin B.
The location and customer service were fine, with speedy and straight forward check out of the truck. I would have liked to receive some instruction on checking back in after hours before we left as we weren't even aware that we would be returning after hours. The process for that was a little stressful because the lot was full when we got back and we weren't sure where to park. Luckily the people who arrived just before us were still there and were able to pull their truck in enough to make room for us.adam B.
I arrived on time but I received my truck 45 minutes later after my arrival Because online check-in didn't work, the person told me that they didn't have any dollies and blankets despite I ordered them two months in advance , and as a result I had to go to another location and beg for some dollies, but I couldn't get any blankets. It was another waste of time . Therefore without blankets I damaged a lot of furniture. It was a horrible experience and when I returned my truck half an hour later I was charged extra $20. I request refund for this, it was not my fault and I'm not supposed to be charged for this.Oleksandr Z.

Warden and hwy 401 location canceled my reservation without even trying to contact me. Only booked it 8am just in case I needed it earlier and was told 916am it was canceled. No one mentioned such a big issue if I'm late and had to travel down to Gerrard after hour on phone on day I'm supposed to be moving already...never use your company again. No customer respect takes 2 seconds to call before you cancel my whole move as the elevator is booked for certain times. UselessVIC C.

The truck I received was the most disgusting. When I first receive it, I noticed a strong smell that I couldn't identify. After looking for the origin of the smell, I found a plastic food container with rotten food/unknown substance inside, with maggots crawling all around. I almost vomited. To have U-haul charge me for cleaning fees on top of that is just the most ironic thing. I will never use this location again.Jerome B.

After several calls to the location, the VM was always full. I wanted to find out if there was parking there. I never did find out before picking up the American truck. It came out to much more than I had anticipated and I knew how many km I was going. Wont use this location againANDREA M.

Used the Truck Share App for the 1st time -- very user friendly and efficient way of picking up a rental outside of business hours!Jason B.
It was difficult to find parking at this location and the key drop box was not easy to find. The electronic process for returning the truck/keys after hours was not clear. The uhaul website did not work on an iPhone web browser (I had to use a different phone). Again, it was assumed that customers had Internet access on their smartphone when dropping off the truck. When I was supposed to take a picture of the mileage and fuel levels on the dashboard, the camera on the phone went completely black did not register that a photo had been taken or submitted.ANDREW W.

I brought my van back right at 5pm, and spoke to the person who was working the desk all day and who had rented me the van. He told me to just drop the keys in the mail slot. I was disappointed that he wouldn't take 2 minutes to just look the van over and finalize the return, but proceeded to wrestle with the online return service. I couldn't get it to work on my phone to save my life, and spent 25 minutes on hold with the UHaul after-hours customer support number, only to get put through to voice-mail every time I called (after about 7 minutes on hold each time). In the time I spent desperately trying to get the website to work properly on my phone and not being able to get through to customer service, 3 separate groups of customers showed up to find no vehicles available for their booked rental time. One of them was a couple who said that they had reserved the exact van I had rented, and who were understandably upset that I had been directed to drop keys in the mailbox which were supposed to go to them. Everyone who came while I was stuck there trying to return my van online left without the vehicle they had reserved. I will never rent here again as it seems to be a pretty low chance you will actually get the vehicle you are counting on.Simona B.

The Truck cab smelled like something had died inside. I needed a vehicle and that's the only reason I sucked it up BUT I WILL NEVER GO BACK. That was appalling. Get your stuff together and clean the vehicles and don't let things rot inside.Christian F.
I had reserved a trailer with ramp at this location because it was the closest to my address, but after my experience I would have rather driven to a different city to pick up. The location had quite a few homeless people begging for money right near the entrance area which made it a bit awkward, and when I went to the office the door was open but no staff was there, only 2 other customers waiting for someone to show up. My scheduled pick up was 10 am, and we saw no one on site until 10:20, and I only got my trailer at 10:30, so it made me run late for my appointment. I'm not sure why the office was left with the door open and unattended for so long but the other customer was waiting for someone even before me. I would be recommending a more motivated and attentive staff manage this location.Raluca T.

Shortly before my scheduled pickup I received a phone call saying I have to do my check in online. When we got to the uhaul pickup location there was nobody there so we spent over an hour trying to get our hands on the keys. My pickup time was 12:30 and we didn't leave until after 2pm.John C.
They charged me $200 for a non-existent dent in the back when they found it the next morning. It was not there during drop off. A scam. Will go to Penske or Budget next time.Sharon R.
I was charged for $9.37 in gas when I actually returned the truck with a higher amount of fuel than when I picked it up. I had pictures of the instrument cluster when I picked the vehicle up and when I dropped it off and clearly the invoice I received by email was falsified as it showed lower fuel than when I picked it up though the odometer reading was correct. I booked the truck one month in advance based in a location closed to me (distance and opening hours) and I made all the plans for my moving accordingly. Two days before my moving I was contacted and forced to pick up the truck from a location 7 miles away from where I originally booked it and that opened later. In addition to that I had to return the truck to the same location because the one I chose in advance was not available!! I do not have a car, I moved 40 miles away from the city, I was not able to return the truck the same day, I had to pay to park the truck overnight, I had to pay UBERs as public transit was not an option, The credit offered me to me did not cover all the extra costs I have to paid!! all the logistics of my movement were ruined, my movement was more expensive and more stressful thanks to the horrible customer service provided by U-Haul, why you offer something that you cannot commit to? Don't you care people's plans?ERICK R.

Contract stated fuel was full, but was in reality only 3/4 full. Took a photo and submitted as proof with UHaul app but still charged for 1/4 tank of fuel on return. UHaul has no record of the photo from the UHaul app and photo was not saved to my phone. Make sure you take your own photo of the dashboard on pickup and don't trust the UHaul app!Colin M.
Location staff was nice and helpful when I arrived even though I was struggling to deal with the online pickup process. However the booking process was a frustrating experience. Booking with the location, I booked a one-way truck. I had additional questions and and was sent to Head Office where I waited on the phone for 30 minutes. I confirmed my booking with the agent and then was sent to scheduling which I waited for another hour. Then this agent told me a one-way truck was impossible to book and that my booking was wrong. So the prices were wrong and I would no longer would be able to book my one-way trucks which was a major inconvenience. The online dropoff was also not enjoyable. It required so much setup and did not immediately work. It made me verify my device twice through email and then it changed settings on my phone and was then inundated with a long process of questions. Absolutely did not enjoy the online experience and it was very difficult to understand what I needed to do because I didn't understand what to expect. I did appreciate that I didn't need to download an app and just used a browser on my phone.Johnathan L.

Due to the location being in a busier location the cargo trailer was difficult to access. However, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. They went above and beyond and were very fast and efficient.Fahad R.
The web check-in is an absolute embarrassment. After checking in online the night before there is absolutely no reason I should standing in the parking lot waiting for over 20 minutes for someone to review and approve information such as my drivers licence which could have been approved either when I originally booked the rental, or when I checked in the night before. It also seemed that the system had no memory of things I had already entered. I must have scanned my license over 4 different times, and submitted my alternate contact information 2-4 times. All this only to be on hold with someone until I eventually gave up and did the in-person check-in which was successful. Fire whoever programmed the web check-in because they clearly had no idea what they were doing.Cameron D.

I was supposed to use the mobile check-in/check-out system, but nothing I did with my phone settings made the site recognize my location, which was a hassle. Make the app more user friendly. I couldn't share my location when dropping off. Maybe you did it on purpose to get the 20$ convenience fee. Does not surprise me. I was satisfied overall anyway. CheersJASSEN P.
