I was supposed to drop at a different location 921 Pape Ave. There is no UHaul service at that location. I was directed to call the former occupant, who now operates from a different location. I reached him nut he directed me to drop off at a third location which is not listed on Uhaul.com. Customer service tele helped me out but this was a shitty hassle and I did not need it at the end of a long day. I will look hard for a different service provider before using uHaul again.

Absolutely dreadful service - I will never go back to the Box Shoppe. The rental was from 1.30 pm. At 12.31 and then 12.47 pm on 13 November the Uhaul agent called demanding that I come immediately as he was closing for lunch until 2 pm. I told him the booking was for 1.30. He said I must come in 10 minutes. He dragged me from the toilet and ruined my lunch. When I arrived just after 1 pm I showed him my booking document which confirmed 1.30. What kind of bad joke is this? In addition, the ordered furniture pads were not supplied. We managed without. Never again!

I read a lot of horror stories before booking this but my experience was very straightforward. The truck was available at the location and on time, and there was a utility dolly available. The office was closed when returning despite being during business hours, however self-return was pretty easy.

Improve the self pick-up! Personal documents such as drive license and address can be checked on checkin phase online. We cannot wait up to 20min to pick the equipment up. Fortunately the guy at pick up location did a good job and bypassed this.

The truck was not available on time (half an hour late). I was told to contact head office to figure out solution - why do I need to call the head office and figure out solution and not the representatives? Also, one of the representatives had the worst runny nose while not wearing mask. COVID? Also only got one furniture pad not two like I ordered due to shortage.

Reserved a dolly for October 31 on October 8th. Saw someone ahead of me take one to their rented truck, but when it was my turn I was told there were no more. Confirmed that I would not be charged for the dolly but still got charged at the end. Had to call customer service to get a refund on the dolly charge. Terrible customer service at this location overall.

the location was fine. i didn't expect anything more or less than what i got. my issue is with the reservation system and customer service. the location i rented from didn't have the truck (even though it was reserved) so they sent me to another location. thankfully that location was close, but it was my 2nd lineup of the day. the new location had the truck, but didn't have the dolly i had reserved. so i called customer service to find a dolly. they also promised a $25 coupon code which they'd email to me, and even verified my email address. i had to go back to the first location to get the dolly. this whole process took a little over an hour. after all that, the promised coupon code was never emailed to me, so they billed me full rate. i had to call today to get them to apply a rebate instead. very poor experience. all that said, the truck was fine, as were both locations - the people were very friendly and helpful but were hamstrung by the company.

I had a reservation and when i arrived the truck was not onsite. The owner of the garage (the u-haul location) call his friend who was using my truck and said it was fine that the truck was going to be there in 1 hour.... We had to go to another location to find a truck with missing dolly.

It took quite a while to get in to the office when I went to pick up the trailer I had booked. The line was moving very slowly....I am not sure why. However, the employees, in particular Solomon, were professional, helpful and friendly.

I asked the attendant what the charges were when I received the truck. He said $19.95 + mileage. He said the $95 estimate was taking mileage into account. I now see that there is a $30.00 "Rental fee" charged that he never told me about when I asked him for the charges. I want this $30 fee removed and the amount + tax credited to my credit card.

Absolutely the WORST experience I've ever had renting uhaul and I do it regularly. I ended up at this location accidentally. They were late and are saying they weren't. The gas tank was empty. Dollys weren't ready. Overcharged for fuel overcharged for km. Saying I returned it late even though I requested it forn24hrs on the phone.

Not the fault of this location, but my i made the reservation for the other Gerrard location and wasn't told specifically that my pickup location had changed. Since both addresses were on Gerrard i didn't notice the street number had changed. Glad I had my bicycle because they aren't close to each other.

What a mess. I ordered a trailer to a location. After booking, I'm told that my trailer is 4x farther. I drive there. They do not have masks on. They do not have distance. The trailer lights don't work. I call and hold for a long time. Now the place near me has a trailer. I drive there. They tell me to drive down the street to a different lot. But not that lot, beside it. In a dilapidated shack. He basks me to hold up a fence while he tries and fails to extract the trailer. He can't get it out. Another worker comes. They are concerned the shack is going to fall. What a mess.

Terrible experience. I would like to be contacted. 1. Located was changed after booking without notifying me. 2. There was no direction as to where to line up or where to find the trucks, which were down the street. 3 I checked in online to avoid lines, follow covid rules, be safer, but the location did not accept this process and we had to line FOUR times in crowded areas for over an hour. 4. I was treated in an absolutely unacceptable and abusive manner while in the office to pick up my keys. I was screamed at and called names, while only following directions from employees and communicating with strangers about the made up lines across the parking lot and side walk. The uhaul staff at the desk and two customers, all men probably twice my age, screamed me out of the office and didn't let me say a word. One man shoved past me to surround me and I was honestly frightened. A father and son (customers) thought I skipped the line but I had been waiting in it.. I had asked those around me..Plus I was told to SKIP the line and show my online check in and get the key...I didnt want to shove past the people I saw waiting out front. But then when I was next, these these men walk up from the other side of the parking lot and - instead of speaking to me like a human being - decided to push past me, surround me, and SCREAM at me. "What the fuck are you doing you dumb bitch you think you can skip the line" . So I walked out, crying. I had to wait another 20 minutes in the same line. The uhaul staff then told me "it's not my fault" and literally wouldn't listen to me. Just said "not my fault" three times. I don't think that is acceptable at all. All of this after online check in, and all he did was to write the truck number I already had on a piece of paper.

Very rude manager. Did not have BOTH the equipments in the truck when I arrived. He went around to find the blankets,and when he couldn't find a trolley, he told me to go open up the other trucks myself to look for a trolley.

Location is a dump- reservation times were changed by the owners last minute, so that had to be reversed to the original booked times- causing delays. Then end of day, after closing time, I returned the car, but by mistake left the keys in the locked vehicle. Like every car rental place I believe this to be no big deal as for sure there should be a spare at the office. Now they charge me an extra $100 (cleaning fee), to unlock the car. Not cool. Vehicle was clean when we picked up and clean when we returned.
