The staff member was 30 minutes late opening so there was a long lineup. There is no shelter and it was very hot. He was polite and efficient, but the customers were pretty grumpy about the unnecessary wait. It was pretty obvious that we all had 10AM reservations.Mark J.
Hello, I paid for moving blankets and did not receive them. I was told I would get a refund, but the issue is that I was counting on them to move. As a result, my furniture is now damaged. If I pay for something I expect it to be provided, or at least be notified that it will not be provided. The truck had low gas, and had significant trouble with the transmission. Vehicle is not properly maintained. I appreciate the lockbox system which I used to take the vehicle. GraciasAustin W.

When I arrived to pick up my reserved truck, there was no truck as the renter's had not returned it yet. I was sent to the O'Connor location and when I got there somebody else had the keys and my contract. The people that were given my truck were actually wanting to rent a van. The initial woman who booked my reservation over-the-phone effed it up so bad, it took 2 hours for someone else at customer service to fix my account so I could pick up my vanâ€¦and even before that call another person at customer service assured me everything should be fine. However, I got the email and couldn't log inâ€¦so try making a reservation online or in-person first. The location was alright, the lock box instructions were wrong though and was sticking/hard to open.Erika V.

This Uhaul company ripped me off $1500 for a $250 cargo van rental of 7 days. They offered me a deal of 7 days with 1000 km free. I returned it on time, gas filled back up an milage under 1000, yet they knowingly charged me for milage and ripped me off. I will be suing Uhaul. Never again will I rent from them. They'll reap what they sow.ed L.

I have rented from Uhaul a few times recently due to an ongoing reno. The staff at this location was amazing compared to the last rental location. I left my glasses in the cab and they went out of their way to help me. The truck was very clean compared to my previous rentsl that smelled like bad eggs.TAMTHACH B.

I gave this location a "below average" rating because I've never had to put gas into a truck to get to my destination. Something that I did not work into my timeline either. When I mentioned this to the desk person, after my trip, he said that "..they didn't have time." For the record, I didn't believe him and I certainly wasn't expecting to put gas into the truck until after the trip was completed.Jacquelin L.

24*7 service is useless. There is no option on the website or mobile app of getting access to the truck. I had a booking at 8am.. and could not get my truck at the booked time. I had to wait for the store to open wt 10 am and then I got my truck at 10:30. Almost waited for 2.5 hours. And getting in touch with the contact centre was another hasle. If you can't provide the service at desired time then there is no point of offering it. It caused me delays and money. Time is valuable. I had other things booked accordingly and everything was a big mess on my moving day because of this. Will definitely not recommend and use another truck service from now on.Vishal G.
Parking lot is really big and spacious. I don't understand why trucks are kept so congested way. It takes a lot of time to bring out a truck from the pool. I am requesting to keep more space between trucks for easy pull out.Md Shariful A.

Our reservation was changed to this location automatically. It opens at 10 am on a Saturday - no convenient at all! Let's open earlier to get things done. Reservation was for 9:30 am, so had to wait. Also - filling up on the gas was difficult to gauge.Jeffrey N.

There was only one individual in on a Saturday morning. Students moving - very busy weekend. Poor scheduling, and we felt so bad for the worker. Completely unfair to the employee to have to deal with that.Hayden W.
I waited an hour for approval for the â€œskip the lineâ€ feature. Then went inside and the guy ignored me and dealt with people in line who were buying and renting without having done the â€œskip the line featureâ€. Waited another 25 minutes before I finally just asked him for the keys. UHaul in general, and this place in particular, are useless. Cars are gross, service is poor, and the actual place was a dump. Never again. Nothing about this felt smooth or quick. It's 2022, get your shit together.Alexander D.

This was the first time i went to this location. It is behind another building. There was no sign on the street to indicate its location. The sign on the store front was small, and there was one sign where the store was not located, and i went to it first. It took me time to find the store. I could tell that the trailer had not been checked when i accessed it.Stephen D.

My experience with UHaul's Van reservation & driving was favourable. However, there was just one problem and in my it was pretty serious. And that is, I don't know why my online reservation for a 9' van was accepted for a location where the van couldn't be picked up - specifically 29 Gervais Drive in Toronto. I was only notified at 7AM yesterday that the pickup location had changed. And since this was not flagged in bold or right up front in the text and eMail, I failed to notice the change and went to the Gervais Drive location. So it was a major inconvenience and delay in my van pickup to have to travel to a new location.Dan J.

I originally booked pick up/return at Don Mills location and the system switched me to 1450 O'Connor after I left home. The clerk at Don Mills was not very helpful and negative towards the O'Connor store (â€œdon't bother calling!to confirm your truck, they are very busy and will not call you backâ€). However, upon arriving at O'Connor, the clerk was VERY courteous and professional, apologized for the mix up. The truck was very clean (for a rental moving van!), in great mechanical order and easy to operate. And O'Connor clerk did return my call/vm prior to my arrival. I recommend O'Connor for those who need a rental truck. Clean, professional and easy access location/parking. ¡Gracias!Russell M.
Pick up location changed at last minute without contacting me at all. I checked my records and I never received an email or a call. Charges for items I never booked or I was told I would not be charged for even though I called the contact centre and spoke with in store staff before and after my booking was finalized. Only after disputing the charges were they rectifies in spite of all the previous notifications. Ridiculously long wait times for uhaul contact centre when I had issues checking van back in while waiting outside in cold. Incredibly cumbersome online process. Generally, I had a very bad experience. I wasted 5 hours with uhaul issues on a day when I was moving. Added incredible stress. Will not use this service again..Martina A.

When rentals are picked up on Saturday after 2:00pm for a return 24 hours later it would be nice to be made aware that the store closes at 2:00pm on Sunday and no one is there to receive the trailer, truck etc. and therefore checkout will need to be done on your phone.Jeff B.

There was garbage from the last people that used it including gloves, candy wrappers and used floss picks. There was also a prescription medication in the glove compartment beneath the cup holders. The tenant knew the location of the medication when I brought it up so I'm not sure why they didn't take it out. That is extremely dangerous and the person might have needed their medication.nicole S.

Overall I would use this location again. The vehicle I rented was ready at the time I had reserved. When I turned on the vehicle though I had a warning on the dash to add air to one of the tires. I was on a time crunch and it looked okay so I didn't say anything about it. I had also rented a dolly which had not been put in the vehicle. Luckily I noticed this before I left and the staff member put one in for me.Lisa C.

Good morning, I am still waiting for a refund that I was told would take a week to receive. It's been nearly 3 weeks. Very disappointed in your ability to meet your refund commitments. Vehicle reserved was not available even though reservation was confirmed the day prior. No communication from the location when they were aware of not being able to meet the reservation hours earlier. Wasted over an hour waiting for the rep to provide an alternative.
