We visited 3 locations in search of the size truck we needed. All locations were very helpful and it was cheaper than what we were quoted by Budget. Uhaul matched the price and it was less. The personnel were very nice and very helpful, especially the lady at Marshall St. Location in Winston Salem , NC.Deborah M.

Taxes were ridiculous. Idk if this is across the board for all uhauls but I would not recommend a uhaul unless absolutely necessary, the fees and taxes are ridiculous.Melissa A.
When I picked up the UHAUL it had an 1/8 of a tank of gas. I had to fill the UHAUL before I arrived at my destination. Then, I had to return the UHAUL with 1/4 tank of gas. In my opinion, you should return the UHAUL the same way you found it!Dawn E.

I made a reservation at one location and get there and they had no trucks so they sent me to this location which delayed me from moving when i needed to. After getting the truck everything went well until the next morning when we called to verify where to turn it in. The rep had to find another drop off location because that one was full. She gave us a 20 mile credit which was nice. When i took it to the drop off location a very nice gentleman helped me named Mr. Moe. When he entered the information it showed i had the truck for 6 days and had 6000 miles which wasnt correct. I only had my truck for a day and i was aware that i would go over in mileage about 85 miles in addition to the 50 that went with the truck. Mr. Moe wouldn't charge me until he figured it out. He called to confirm that everything was taken care of with a 33.00 charge for the overage in mileage. When i checked my banking info they had charged me 84 additonal dollars. I had to call the 1800 number and the rep waived the charge after verification. I have never had an experience like this ever. It was a total inconvenience. I wont be using uhaul again.Daphne S.
This location was unable to amend the contract from a 2 day rental to a 1 day rental. The rate out of this location to Ocean Isle Beach NC was double the rate out of Ocean Isle Beach, NC to Walkertown, NC back in May 2019. Disappointing.Steven P.

They did not have brochures for the insurance and the dolly was in poor shape, I didn't even get the furniture pads, because everything looked very used. My original location didn't have what I needed and U-Haul waited until 830p the night before to tell me I had to go to a different location. Poor communication.Heather A.

Pick up/Drop off is easy and convenient. However the truck had not been swept out. There was some sand in the back. It also leaked in the back when it rained and my things got wet.Jennifer B.
Kind of sketchy location. But drop off was easy. Working with the actual uhaul rental was the worst part and why I wont be working with uhaul in the future. We got the run around on where we could actually pick up a truck. We had to drive 30 extra minutes than we planned. I ordered the uhaul a week ahead of time and wasn't notified of any issues until the day before the rental was needed. Customer service was good and somewhat helpful. But uhauls system is terrible. The issues should have never happened.Maegan M.
It took the location 3 days to check in my vehicle even though i parked ot right in front (bug truck u cldnt miss it) and put the keys in the correct location!! Which left me responsible until they felt like they wanted to check it in.Bianca P.

Was sent to the wrong pickup address twice by 1 800 gouhaul number. One location was in another town and was closed. I drove 64 miles per their instructions while paid people waited for the truck to show.andrea R.

There was no where to drop off the truck except for a local trailer park. I was charge for cleaning because I left the plastic bags that the blankets came in on the truck. That was $12 for plastic bag that you supplied. I dropped off the truck with over 1/2 tank and didn't get any credit for that extra gas I supplied you.Elizabeth D.

My reservation was confirmed for pickup in Kernersville for a 10- ft truck to pickup kitchen cabinets that I had ordered in Winston-Salem. I received an email stating that the truck that I reserved was not available in Kernersville but one was available in High Point. High Point was not a good option for me, so I called them and had my reservation transferred to Walkertown. I had to pick up a larger truck than I originally requested as they did not have a 10-ft. truck. When I reached my destination to pick up the kitchen cabinets, the utility dolly that I reserved was not in the truck! UGGH! It was a bad experience, to say the least.Lori C.
