This guy was very shocked I was dropping the truck off in his lot and he comes outside to me to go on and on about how he doesn't have any room to park this truck and was I sure I was at the correct location. Need to inform customer that pick up location has changed! The location i reserved a trailer for had to provide me with the updated location. When I arrived at the other location, the office was dirty and unorganized. The individual I dealt with was rude and lectured me about how I need to read all of the fine print. Also he went on a rant about covid and how masks are ineffective. This is highly unprofessional. I did not request a lecture from the U-Haul representative about his beliefs. After being lectured for 30 minutes, I arrived home to begin filling my U-Haul I discovered a small frog living in the trailer!Joseph F.

The large dolly I ordered was not included with the truck upon pickup. When I reported the dolly was missing on the website (when I dropped the truck back off since I used the truck on a recent holiday when the office was closed), I expected someone to reach out to me to address the price difference since I noted it in the closeout paperwork however not a single customer service representative has reached out to me. The truck was great however I'm unhappy about the lack of support for addressing the company's oversight - especially since I paid to rent an item I did not receive.Carol M.

Corporate should call considering there's a police case due to the franchises owner of threats of bodily injury. Filed a false police report. This franchise should be pulled immediately! I've found an attorney that states his false police report constitutes for damages considering I had to have two police offers dispatched to return the trailer. Call me before my lawyer calls yours. Our appt was for 10am and we got there at 9:55am. There are two signs posted outside saying the location opens at 9, so we went in to get our truck, but were kicked out and told he doesn't open until 10 and there was someone scheduled ahead of us. So we waited outside until 10am. We were the appt that was scheduled. The guy had no reason to be so rude to us. If you don't want people walking in before you open, then fix your signs so they read the appropriate times.WESLEY L.

Our initial pickup location did not leave the vehicle I reserved....we were left with no U-Haul and scrambling trying to get a different one -the new pick up location was 20 miles out of our way-and upon arrival we were greeted with the owner cursing and complaining about doing his job . Then we had to park blocking the entrance bc of the location of all the other returned truck. I didn't receive any compensation for all of my troubles because the rental locations were slacking. I don't know if I will use U-Haul again.Amanda A.

My original reservation was in Moncks corner. I went to go pick it up and the van wasn't there. I had to drive to another location wait over 45 minutes to get the van. In turn I rented from much farther location than desired which caused me to pay for extra fuel and mileage. Not very happy with uhaul at this moment. I am 45. I have moved 42 times in my life. I have used UHaul MANY times through the years, as a matter of fact, exclusively. This location had the absolute worse customer service and old worn out truck I have ever dealt with. First, the guys running the location are liars and cheaters. I signed a document that there was 3/4 of a tank of gas in the truck and if I did not return it with 3/4 of a tank they would charge me $4.00 a gallon (which followed with a long right wing political diatribe that had no place in customer service!) When I got in the truck it had 1/4 of a tank. The receipt I received this morning stated I only drove 36 miles. But it cost me $75 to get the tank to 3/4 of a tank. Second, the truck was old and falling apart. Inside the cab the felt on the roof was peeling off, the truck was not cleaned from previous users. I felt cheated, I felt used and taken advantage of. The mocking of Hispanic name as they competed in pronouncing it, the complete and utter unwelcoming atmosphere of the location made for an experience I would never want to go through again. I know this location does NOT represent UHaul, I have done enough business with your company to know this. I will continue to use UHaul, but I will never ever step foot in this lying cheating stealing location. Thank you. And Have a great day!Julio C.

The truck that I rented had a "Check Engine" Light on. The windows had been left open so there were insects in the cabin. Moreover, the app did not work when I had brought back the truck. Therefore, I was charged the next day. I would NOT recommend this location or UHAUL unless they really needed it for the cost. Very disappointing.Nicholas P.

Rude customer service. I arrived for a 3:00 pickup at 2:45. The CSR said you're early, but I'll still help you. I left the front door open because my kids were asleep in their carseats (windows down and 60 degrees) and I wanted to keep an eye on them. He told me to shut the door. I explained my kids were in the car and asked if I could leave it open. He said no and didn't like open doors. If I had any other option I would have left. Generally he was rude and treated me as if I was an inconvenience. As a consumer, it's my choice where I spend money. Never getting a dime out of me again.Tai E.

Whole online check in process was completely ridiculous actually used up 45 minutes of allotted rental time just trying to get processed in an were hung up on twice while trying to get representative help. Wife at home stayed on phone for 20 minutes trying to get help no one even picked up.Kim T.
