This location has now required twice that I do their job for them. They said I was required to Remove, fold, count, and stack inside the store. This is not the uhaul policy. They ask for me take all the pics. This is not my responsibility when I drop off a truck. Clerk refused to drop off and then decided to cursed at me when I refused to do her job. Clerk continued to exit the store to tell all the things I had to do to drop off. I used the mobile drop off app. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I will never use uhaul again.

I made a guaranteed reservation online for a truck, moving blankets and a hand truck to move furniture and boxes from an apartment into storage. When I arrived at the U-Haul neighborhood location to pick up the truck and equipment I was told that they didn’t have a hand truck. The 20’ truck was fine and the location had blankets, but I don’t understand why U-Haul would allow me to reserve a hand truck and then not provide it. My move would have been ruined had I not been able to borrow a hand truck. U-Haul can’t be trusted to deliver on their promises.

We chose this location because it was the closest UHaul dealer to our home that had one-way availability. Upon arrival, the doors to the Texaco were locked and there was nobody inside. My husband and I had to wait for a good 10 minutes before anyone showed. The check in process was long considering I had made a prior reservation online. That being said, the woman who checked us in was polite and kind. The inside of the truck was very muddy and my husband and I had to clean it before we loaded anything in. If we use UHaul in the future, we will be picking up at a designated UHaul store only.

Merchant tried to over charge me for gas that i didn't use. I will never rent a Uhaul from this location again. I only drove the Uhaul for 12 miles and she tried to charge me for 4 gallons of gas. She stated the Uhaul was at 5/8th of a tank when i picked the truck up and really it was at 1/2 of a tank and returned on 1/2 of a tank. I wonder how many other people has had this problem from this location? I took before and after pictures of the milage and the gas hand, so that's what saved me and i will be getting reimbursed. Never AGAIN!!!!

The truck cab had a very strong odor of cat urine to the point we could not drive with the windows up. Otherwise, the truck was clean.

Had to do it over the phone. Told me to hook up then they would take a picture. No damage form was gone over. I had to make the cashier at gas station take pictures of prior damage for I do not want to be held liable for prior damages. Trailer lights stopped working. was pulled over then had to wait on family to follow me to return equipment. The transaction that went on my card is almost double what my reservation was set up for. Completely unhappy with this experience.

My U-HAUL was originally reserved for 7pm and had to call to find out that the U-HAUL that I was supposed to get at 7pm the renter lost the keys, and I was told by a male worker at Midgard Self Storage (1405 McEver Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504) on 06/27/2021 that since my vehicle wasn’t available for pickup at that location that there was one available at Texaco (5338 Thompson Bridge Rd, Murrayville, GA 30564) and for the inconvenience I would receive 20+ mileage free counting the distance from Midgard Self Storage 1405 McEver Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504 to Texaco 5338 Thompson Bridge Rd, Murrayville, GA 30564 for having to travel farther than my reservation. Also I was guaranteed my pickup at Midgard and if I didn’t get it I would receive $50.

I returned my rental late due to the app not confirming the photo I was uploading at the mileage reader. Ended up having to walk inside and ask an associate for help and they said not to worry about it they would confirm it for me. I was charged an additional day because the time was after 5 PM when it was confirmed.

I completed the transaction 100% online. Went in to pick up keys and was met by a person that treated me like I was lying or trying to steal the pickup truck. She was very short and rude with me. She called uhaul and was on hold, I was able to reach a customer service rep, while was helpful. The rep told the lady to give me the keys and let me go. The person at the location then acted like she didn’t know where the keys were and needed to contact the owner, the keys were visible behind the counter. She also acted like she didn’t know which keys to give me, after several of my attempts to show the numbers that was listed on the page after finishing the online transaction. She still refused to give me those keys. After about 35 minutes of being on site she reached a uhaul rep yet again and was given the same numbers I repeatedly attempted to show her. At about 40 minutes after entering the location I was given the keys by them being slammed in the counter. I most definitely would recommend using another location for your needs.

Very nice lady took care of me. However, since it is a mini mart I had to wait often while people came to the counter to buy food and gas. They should have more than one person to make sure the uHaul customer is taken care of. However, the truck and the service were ready and worked fine. Nice folks who run the place. I will still rent there again.

Im sure this location is fine normally but this was my first experience renting a U-Haul and the pick up process was a nightmare it took over 2 to rent the U-Haul because the system was experiencing issues. And once we got the truck successfully rented it took another 30 min to get the dolly rented. This all after i was already charged for the equipment. The rest of the move was fine but i feel the pick up process was more difficult than it needed to be and ultimately set my whole move back longer than it needed to be.

The 6x12 trailer had not been swept out. The super lady in Murrayville Ga rented me the trailer that has no jacking system like the open trailer sitting right next to it. Having a bad shoulder we were lucky to have some helpful convenience store customers willing to help.

The attendants almost would not let me rent when they put incorrect information in the system although I had already pre reserved and checked in. Drop off was the same. They were open but the attendant told me they were closed and I could not drop it off.

My reservation was changed to another location while I was in route to the original location. Once I arrived I went inside to get the keys of the vehicle and had to speak to someone on the phone asking me to come to the Valero down the street to complete my paperwork. I drove there and completed the paper work and had to return to the other gas station to get the keys. Extremely inconvenient! Then once I returned the vehicle I had to once again speak to the person on the phone at the Valero. She told me that I would have to wait until the next day to receive my return paperwork via email. I had to call two days later to remind them to complete my paperwork and was asked to call back in 5 minutes. After I waited about 20minutes or so I attempted to call back and got nothing. I attempted again and again with no avail. I received an email finally about my return confirmation with final statement. Very poor customer service!

Everything! I had to go to two locations to pickup the truck. The people working at both stores were rude and confused. All I needed to do was pay and get the keys but they sent us back and forth and had us on the phone for over an hour! Finally get the truck and it only has a quarter of a tank in gas in. Overall terrible pickup experience.

Truck cab smelled like an ashtray. Location attendant was constantly on personal phone. Didn't have all equipment on hand to fill reservation. Took nearly 30-45 minutes to finalize pickup of truck.

This was the most horrible experience. Pick up was a nightmare, sent me 20 miles from desired pick up, and not given addditonal miles, then I could not get in the truck for 2 hours after scheduled pick up time. It took talking to 7 people on the phone and 2 gas station attendance to get into the truck. I was finally able to get the truck after the attendance told me I would have to wait until all of the Friday afternoon lottery ticket customer were taken care of. I was over charged by 20 dollar from reservation price, and charged extra mileage even though they sent me 20 miles out of the way. Drop off was equally bad. The person for U-Haul was not present at the drop off location and the 24/7 drop off wouldn’t work in my phone even though I had the app, full cell service, and my location setting on, still the app said my location could not be determined. Finally, I was able to talk to customer service who instructed me to take pictures for my records and leave the key in the drop box. I asked to be compensated for this horrendous experience and still have not heard back from district manager. My brother is moving next week and I have advised him that under no circumstances should he rent from U-haul and that he should go with a different company. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and would like compensation if anyone bothers to read this and actually cares. I will discourage everyone I know to NEVER use u-haul.

My experience was better than expected. I was disappointed that although we were told to leave 1/4 tank of gas in it when we filled it up we had no idea how much it would take. So when we returned it we had actually had almost a 1/2 tank of gas in it. I would have expected some credit for the gas but we didn't get that at all.

We dropped off at Texaco Food Mart in Murrayville, GA. We called this location the day before drop off, a woman named Barbara said yes, it is okay to return the trailer here, we will be here. When we arrived to drop off the trailer it was raining, I backed the trailer into their lot as best I could then went in to do the paperwork. The woman at the counter said yes, she was Barbara but NO, SHE CANNOT UNHOOK OUR TRAILER FOR US, SHE SAID SHE IS THE ONLY ONE THERE AND CANNOT UNHOOK IT, WE HAVE TO DO IT OURSELVES. I have a bad back and my wife is 65. So we both got out in the rain and unhooked our own trailer !!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE ! If they cannot provide even the most basic service they should not be an authorized U-Haul dealer. I feel like we should receive a refund of our charges for being treated like this.

Rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer. The trailer tongue was on the ground with no way to lift it. The dealer said it would have to be lifted by hand and placed on the trailer hitch. This was not possible and the dealer refused to help and offered no solution. After finding some scrap lumber and broken concrete I was able to use a 2x4 as a fulcrum to lift the trailer and used other scraps to block up the trailer tongue. If I wasn’t on a time restraint, I would have asked for a refund and went somewhere else. I will never use this location again.

The owner knew how to handle U-Haul rentals. The attendant that I initially talked to didn't, nor did she know what to do when I returned the truck. Overall, both the Texaco owner and the attendant both lacked a level of professionalism when interacting with me. I wouldn't use them again. Would probably just use a corporate dealer.

The woman behind the counter at 5338 Thompson Bridge Road in Murrayville, GA was argumentative and extremely rude! She insisted I had not prepaid my order and basically insinuated that I was lying. She said I had only paid the deposit despite the receipt I showed her that said I had prepaid everything. She demanded another card, and when my son told her to please stop being rude,she threatened to kick him out of the building. I called UHaul Coustomer Service where Darlene tried to explain that I had prepaid. The lady at Texaco wasn't buying it. When I offered to give her my 2nd piece of identification, my teacher ID, she said she had to call my school to ensure I had not given her a false number. I have NEVER dealt with anyone so rude in my 57 years on earth. She refused to give us her name. This is just a small example of the rudeness she exhibited today. I would definitely NOT recommend this location ever. Extremely frustrating and disappoint...definitely not someone or a place you would want representing UHaul. Please review the notes for further details of the absurd and rude behavior from this establishment. My express checkout took over 30 minutes.

Took a long time to get checked out. Should be quicker. Also I was given a truck that I did not reserve. I had reserved a 10 ft but was told when I got there that it was not available so they gave me a bigger truck than I wanted or needed but at that time I had no choice. Reservations need to be just that. A reservation.

The mileage and gas amount were incorrect when we checked out the truck. We noticed the paperwork was not accurate to what was indicated in the truck. We informed the salesperson and it was adjusted. Just make sure you take a picture of the start and end mileage and gas numbers before driving off and before you pay. Overall, friendly and prompt service.
