This is the worst uhaul experience I've ever had. When first arriving to the Tennessee #1 Store and told the lady at the counter that we were picking up a rental, she proceeded to tell us that she's a convenience store, so we were second priority no matter how long it would take. She then had no idea how to work the computer and couldn't get the check in process complete. She tried to charge us double what the reservation confirmed, then walked away from the computer and told me husband and me to finish the process ourselves because she didn't know how. She left several times during this process to checkout customers of the gas station. I've done uhaul mobile return before and did so this time as well. As my husband and I were leaving after submitting the photos and finishing the process, she came running outside towards us as we were leaving. She angrily told us that we had to let her know we were there because she has to check it in. Overall, I would not recommend this place. This lady has zero idea what she is doing.Micah D.

On pickup after checking in online, the sole elderly lady could not get the slow computer to even get to the UHaul website. I had to have a young man who was with his mother buying candy at store help me lift the 12 x 8 trailer tongue. Upon return the Indian owner sat with his friends at a table, and the older lady clerk had to continue with other people buying items until she could check me out. The owner not only didnt help me unhook, but left the property. I had to get another young man buying at this store to help me lift off the tongue. If I was U-Haul I would place my company's name with ANY STORE in Fayetteville, TN that can be more professional, courteous, and helpful. I will never use this location again. Save your reputation and PULL OUT of this store.David T.
It's not the locations fault! When you get on the app it says one price but get there and you have to pay way more. I set there for over 4 hours waiting to get a trailer! I called U-Haul a lot of times and there was nothing they could do! Do your research before you go and pick it up.Justin C.

Dealing with 4 gas station customers and then trying to deal with us. Couldn't understand what he wanted us to do because the noise level was high. Asked directions numerous times. Dumping our furniture pads on an outdoor pallet per his request. Had us back up a 26ft truck on the other side of the lot where civilian cars were parked by a highway with no guidance. We were already exhausted, frazzled, and soaking wet from the rain. Didn't give two shits about the truck or us. Laughing it up in the shop.LUCAS S.

The lady at the store couldn't help me check out I had to call get help over the phone the dolly wasn't on the truck and a hour later I was pulling off. The drop off process with the app kept saying I was entering a lower mileage than I started with so I couldn't complete it. It's a holiday weekend so I'll have to call regular business hours to explain.Jesscua T.

When I called to tell him I was on my way to pick it up he said I did not have a reservation for you & the truck was going to someone else. I called the main office & found out my appt was deleted at 9:15 am at that store. Amber said the truck WAS mine she reinstated my reservation which I had made over a week prior & said she would call him to straighten it out. When I got there he was VERY aggressive & said "I TOLD YOU I HAVE NOTHING FOR YOU". I called main office in front of him I ask for Amber, while I was talking , the man said I do not find your reservation. When I said to the phone,"this is Patricia Rushing I have a reservation, He immideatly interrupted me & said "Oh here it is". He was aggressive & rude to me, when my son in law walked in his entire attitude changed & he started apologizing to my son in law. If you want to know how to improve your customer service get rid of this location & this manPat R.

Customer service was awful, the guy was rude and acted as though I was inconveniencing him. He gave me no instructions whatsoever about using the car dolly and did not help me get it connected or offer any assistance, other than leaning out of the door to shout, "make sure the lights work"CHARLES H.

The truck was dirty inside, it had not been swept out. There was mud on the outside and on the driver's side floor. The agent at the counter was on a phone call, when I came in. I told him I was there to pick up my truck, he went to his computer and struggled for several minutes to get it turned on. He continued with his phone call. He never spoke to me. I finally interrupted his conversation to tell him I had done the online checkin. He took my phone from me to look at the information and handed me the keys and my phone, never saying a word to me, and continued with his phone conversation. I did not realize until after I arrived at my location that the dolly I rented was NOT in the truck.Manda S.
I kept telling the guy who gave me the truck truck wasnt at the proper gas spot, he spoke little English, he also did not walk outside and let me check the truck , he also used my phone to receive the code and accept that I CHECKED THE TRUCK we will never use uhaul again , we rent a truck bi weeklyStevie L.
the computer system was slow. both clerks had to use their own personal phone to complete the transaction. was going to get overcharged, but clerk called to get that changed. afternoon clerk went above and beyond to get rate fixed. afternoon clerk came in on her day off to cover store. Wasn't ready for me. Only one guy running a very busy gas station and trying to help with U-Haul. I was there way over an hour to pick up a truck. Trailer tail lights and signals would not work and he said maybe I could get it fixed. Then he didn't have my half dozen blankets. Real poor experience. I need reimbursed on my blankets I didn't get. You guys overcharged my card and overdrew my bank account for $180.00. Now i cant make it to work sitting here 3 days later and the money has not been returned. Very disappointed.Charles B.

I had done everything online and went in to get the key. The man inside was rude, it took almost 45 minutes after I got my online stuff done before I was handed the key. The cargo area of the truck had not been swept and the cab floor and steering wheel had mud everywhere.Rebecca R.

Got to this location on a Friday afternoon. No one was there, so called Uhaul and spoke to Barbara in Phoenix who was very helpful in how to return trailer without a rep present at the return location.eric F.
Car dolly needed driver side tail light bulb,not working. The car hauler hold down strap that goes around the tire you are hauling is worn pretty bad and needs replaced.All else was good..mark J.
