I had to sit in the parking lot for 10 minutes to get an answer. U-Haul needs to tailor the instructions to the location. Or the locations need consistency across the board.

Richard Sthe overall uhaul experience needs to be improved. We had booked a 26 footer over a month ago and not having it available simply isn't a solution. We would NEVER recommend Uhaul again to anyone...the agent on the phone didn't care to help and we ended up having to pay someone else to haul items due to uhaul not having the right size truck. Terrible customer service. We received no discount for our issue other than the normal charge of the smaller truck. We'll be telling everyone we know not to rely on uhaul as they don't care if they don't have the right equipment you order when you need it.
Chris MHaving the equipment I ordered would of been perfect but that didn’t happen… instead, all I got was a truck with no equipment… so much of my furniture is damaged now and it was hell moving furniture into the truck without the equipment I ordered. A very expensive mirror is now broken and dressers along with other furniture is either cracked, scrapped or beyond repair now.. I really needed that equipment and if it couldn’t be done,,, the option to order should have been unavailable. I have so many bruises on my legs,., it ain’t even funny. I don’t believe I should be charged full price and I did not use the dolly for boxes or the blankets… I only picked up the dolly for furniture at the Ed Carey Dr location.

francisco aTruck is worn down and alarms dtarted goin off about 4 miles from where i picked it up. Tried to get roadside service and got the runaround. Got a call back from roadside and when I answered, I got disconnected because the clerk said she couldn't hear me due to the alarms going off. Overall, got my stuff moved and the truck was returned the same way I got it. Alarms going off and all.

George RExtremely disappointed that my reserved trailer was not available at the pick up location we agreed on when booked. Ended up having to drive to a different city to pick it up. Also, back of trailer was full of confetti. Retailer tried to sweep confetti but to not avail. I ended up having to clean it myself prior to returning trailer to a different location on a different day.

Gregg HThe man at the rental was maskless in the middle of this pandemic, in a small office space that couldn't be 10 by 8 feet. He coughed repeatedly without regard for either my wife or me. If we get Covid, we will be in touch with U-haul about this exposure. Simply unacceptable. Obviously, you don't screen your rental locations. The truck we used was fine, and we have had repeatedly good experiences with U-Haul rentals over the years and will continue to use your services. However, we will pay much close attention to the location from which we rent.

Ronald FSTAFF IS UNTRAINED, OWNER UNAVAILABLE. This is the single worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I was supposed to be able to check in with my phone but they didn’t set it up to do so. It took an hour and a half to check in with multiple Calls to headquarters, long waits with customer service, and finally a tech in I.T. had to walk the service rep through the checkin. The desk personnel did not know how to use a basic computer program, couldn’t troubleshoot, it was a nightmare and totally frustrating. A nice but also unskilled person from another store came to help to no avail because UHaul corporate was also having technical difficulties. Customers were waiting behind me that were also frustrated. I was so upset by the time I left, I had helpers waiting on me to load (that I had to pay while they waited on me). I called the manager of the Ft Worth store in Alta Mesa to Let him know about the checkin, he was surprised it hadn’t gone perfectly (naive) and had no solutions, didn’t offer me any compensation, etc. I’ll never use U-Haul again. (Also the truck had been smoked in, ashes in the tray that hadn’t been cleaned out). The truck itself was very comfortable, easy to drive, totally ok for the 12-hour drive. Good A/C, responsive steering. But I would never use or recommend Tarpon Self Storage to anyone. They should be doing local Rentals only. I had no confidence that my truck was adequately serviced (no one knew anything) for a long haul. It was infuriating and frustrating to the max.
