Richard HTruck was not cleaned, we had to remove a bench it in before using it. Please note that the bench was not even fixed to the truck, it was just there. The location didn’t remove it before hand. Also, I was charged for the insurance/warranty and didn’t ask for it nor take it during the reservation.
Simon BWe called the phone no. That was on the contract, but it never worked. It would cut the communication each time. We finally called a 1 800 no. And we were told to bring the truck back to this adresse. The next morning, a UHaul personnel called and let me know that she was not happy with this, because in her system it was mentioned that there was no place in this address. She has been unfriendly, acting as if we were children. Abuse of power. Very bad experience.
Muriel BWe were missing equipment. The blankets were thrown all over the inside of the truck. The truck was very dirty with leftover bottles and cans. And it smelled very heavily of cigarettes.
Victoria AThe vehicle wasn’t in great shape. Doesn’t accelerate, fuel efficient meter was always on low or 0 even if going downhill without pushing accelerator. Overall uhaul experience was ok to good, but some of the vehicles need to be improved (I’ve driven 10+ for context). Thanks!

MICHEL LIt is very nice to have a place where you can leave the rental truck after office hours. It makes a difference after a journey of moving things. Great idea!!
Sara RWe asked for a trolley and there was no trolley in the truck. It took about 40 minutes to take possession of the truck because the website was not very responsive. There was no confirmation of the completion of the return of the truck... overall it was a very bad experience...
Melanie DThe truck was not in a good state. Also, I rented the truck for 8:00 am (pick up with phone), finally, the app told me to wait for the renter to get the truck, the one opens at 8:30 am, and was in late of 15 min. I finally get a truck at 8:50. :-( But U-Hall website looks great :-)

Avertissement de basse pression d'air: Ouin on le sait, nous avons mis de l'air hier ça doit être le capteur qui est brisé. Pas de climatisation dans le véhicule. Ah Ok on va le noter! Interieur de la cabine poussièreux, ( poussière de roche dans les portes goblets et sur le plancher). Au retour, Du fond de la cour, bonjour juste Déposer les clés dans la boite et bonne journée ? Donc sentiment partagé entre efficacité et confiance à 100 % ou pur laisser alller. Job Done, j'avais besoin d'un camion, j'ai eu un camion et surtout pas de problème!
Patrick MPoorest customer service ever. Impossible to find the information we are looking for. Call line got cut for no reason, no warning. Asked for a call back, and got called and transferred to someone and put on wait for half an hour. Email and text coming in with random information. No bill on contract was given to me. Returning a trailer was way more complicated then necessary. I was imposed a two day use, when I only needed one. Finally was sent a text randomly for a new drop place and the app finally worked when on site ...

Ce n’est pas honnête de les ajouter au moment du paiement alors qu’au moment de la location, ils ne figuraient pas sur le contrat. Un service en français est apprécié. Il a fallu que j’attende plus longtemps. Ce n’est pas normal au Québec.

gabriel hTerrible service with the self service app at 7AM. It took me 1h15 and note than 30 pictures if my licence and my face plus 3 calls with a reprentative to get access to the Keys. This was not good at -22°C with a tight schedule. Nothing to Do with the location tho!
William MSigning in online when we arrived was way too complicated. My boyfriend’s license picture was not approved 3 times, and we had to add a lot of informations two times, like his license number. The system should be simplified. We ended up getting inside to complete our reservation because it was not working. The lady was very sweet and gave us the Keys after checking our infos.
Franco KWhen I rent the truck, the personnel told me; The gas tank is full at 3/4 but it wasn't. To late to turn around so I had to pay 1/3 extra when I brought it back.

Paul CPour la prise en charge, j'avais réservé pour la prise en charge à Deauville et non sur Dunant. Ce qui était beaucoup plus loin que prévu dans la réservation. Pour le matériel, j'avais réservé et payé pour 2 douzaines de couvertures que je n'ai pas eu. J'ai eu des meubles grafigués à cause de la non protection. Vous me chargez 22 miles de plus que je ne sais pas d'ou ça viens. Allez-vous produire un crédit? Si vous êtes sérieux, vous pourriez me contacter par courriel pour m'expliquer et régler ce qui s'est passé.

Pascal FThe beginning survey is different than the return survey. This means that there are specific verifications done upon return that are not noticeably done upon rental. The pictures provided at rental were too small to see clearly, so it was difficult to determine if the condition of the vehicle being rented matched its description. There were also some problems with the vehicle that were not noticeable before departure, which I also would never had noticed had I not had a friend driving behind me. Namely, the rear left/driver's side tail light and blinker were completely burnt, and judging from the appearance of the front one, it was on its way out as well. Additionally, there was a sticker peeling off the driver's side door which was, again, only noticeable upon close inspection - but was impossible to see if it was present in the original pictures provided. The gas was informed as being full and presumed to be so, given the assumption that the owners know their vehicle better than I do, however after filling up the vehicle myself before returning it, I was able to realize that it was NOT full upon pick-up. I suspect I paid twice as much for fuel than I realistically used, based on visual comparison. All that being said, for the convience, price, and access, I would definitely use the service again, but I would inspect the vehicle more carefully before leaving the lot with it next time.
Andreanne BI ordered the day before a covered trailer 5x8 with 12 moving towels. I did my reservation and sent it to the system. When I picked the trailer, the tail light were not working properly (hopefully I tested them myself because no one did). No other trailer were available so I had no choice to go with a trailer and very weak tail lights... On the top of that, no moving towels were available despite they were reserved on my order. Finally, they charged me for the insurance despite I had not selected it in my order because my car insurence company protect me for renting trailer. I realised it while on my way with the trailer. Fortunately, I called them and they removed it from my contract. But I don't understand why we do send our order in advance if this order is then all modified without our approval once we pick up the trailer. Then, bad experience in general.

Richard DService was minimal. No help with inspection for tail lights, etc. Quality of service was null. No way to contact the office: over a period of two weeks, the answering system said that it was full, and no message could be recorded. No call to me on the day prior to rental, so I was actually worried that the retailer was still in operation. I left the trailer at the retailer in the evening. There was no way to know if the drop was confirmed by the retailer because no way to phone. When I drove to the retailer to check, the trailer had already left with a next custumer.

Myriam MIl n’a que récupéré le camion en le reculant dans sa cours à un endroit approprié….et en mettant la clé dans la boîte à cet effet!… en me mentionnant que quelqu’en en fera la vérification et le suivi le lundi suivant le retour du véhicule effectué le samedi 9 juillet en pm vers 15:00hres.
