The vehicle had constant whistling sound when driving. It's very annoying and most of the time sounds like someone is honking from a distanceSARATH V.

The truck was poorly maintenance!!!!! Anytime you press on the brakes they would squeak and take longer then usually to stop. The whole truck was shaking when your foot is on the brake at the light. I felt like any moment the truck was going to break down.No wonder why they don't want there truck leaving town. I called the store they Stated there was nothing they can do about it or not willing to give me a discounted price. The worse location to rent a Uhual from. Never rent a UHaul from them!!!! I will be calling Corporate Office!!Please never rent for them for your own safety!!!!!Shena H.

I was concerned because I was charged for a different truck even though I reserved a truck ahead of time but it wasn't there yet. Then on top of that I was charged for 2 days even though I used the truck for approximately 6 hours. I reached out to the location I rented the truck from and I haven't received a call back. I was charged about 140 dollars for something that was suppose to be around 60 (if I were to get the truck I reserved)Johnny M.

Ensure you have the truck size that is being rented for the customer, and if you don't and the only option is to upgrade, don't up charge the customer for the larger truck. It is not the customers fault the uhaul location did not have the truck that was promised to the customer.Ashlie G.
The unit that they rented me is in very bad condition the engine turned off twice when it was stopped at a red light the transmission did not advance correctly it was a very bad experience for meRoberto H.

The franchises owned UHAUL charged my card twice without permission or reason to do so. I had to file a dispute with my bank to prevent them from obtaining extra money from my bank that was unauthorized and I didn't owe the moneyDesiree H.

The truck was old and not qell maintained. The side mirror (on the right) was broken and you literalky NEED a passenger rider to ensure safety. It was not a smooth ride. I noticed some cloth material in what I think is an axle.Lashonda M.

We read bad reviews and should have listened. Luckily due to bad review we covered our bases, they tried to charge us for gas even though we brought it back with the gas needed. My husband took photos of the gas before and after with a time stamp and a geo location. Shady thing to do. Go somewhere else.Jordan H.

The truck that i rented was not cleaned well. There was animal hair in the truck that caused me to have an allergic reaction. I have rented several trucks over the years but this experience make me never want to rent another one. I have to buy medication and drive all the way home uncomfortable because of someone's negligence. I called the customer service phone number to only be told that yhere is nothing that could be done. I am beyond disappointed in the company as a whole. I was even told that supervisor would call me and no one did.Denise B.

Vehicle was not on site at the pick up time. It arrived 1 hour late. Gas tank not filled. There seemed to be some issues with the transmission, though we were able to drive it and complete our moving plan for the day. Worried the whole time that we would break down. On return of the truck we asked if we needed to refill gas tank to where it was on pick up and we were told not to worry about it. We did not receive any paper work at drop off time. No one checked the truck upon its return. We reserved this truck at $19.95 per day plus .99$ per mile. We barely put 30 miles on the truck and ended up with over $100.00 charged to our credit card. So, we were over charged for a truck that was late and was not running properly.Kathy D.

I was very happy with my U-Hual renting experience with Tammy from Texas Lakeside Storage. Tammy answered the phone after business hours, and she helped me calculate the two different rate options so that I can choose the best one for me. The truck was well marked with prior damages, it was clean, everything functioned properly, and it ran well. Even though I had 24 hours, I brought the truck back the same day. Tammy was there again after business hours and let me in to help finalize my bill. She really made the process go smoothly. I would recommend this location for U-Haul renting.Heath B.

i reserved my uhaul truck from the location located in Mansfield Tx 100 Newt Patterson Road (U Haul Neighborhood Dealer) days in advance for the day i needed it. I was asked to arrive early to beat the rush. The place opened at 9:00am. i arrived at 8:30. They quickly got me in but informed me that they did not have the size truck i reserved. The only available truck was to small and would force me to make multiple trips costing me more money. They did find a truck at this location for me to use. The extra distance i had to travel because of the last minute change was about 20 miles. This cost me $.99 per mile and the extra gas. I do appreciate them helping me find a solution but was told i would need to take of the additional cost with UHAUL. So, In this response hopefully this will be looked into and a refund for the appropriate funds will be applied. Thank you for your time and consideration. Kenny Hibdonkenny H.

I ordered a 10 foot truck in advance and did not get notification until the day before I had to pick up the truck that there was not one available. I was changed to a 15 foot truck which they told me was an upgrade. I did not need a 15' truck and therefore had to pay extra for gas with the bigger truck, not to mention the more cumbersome larger truck to drive down I35 thru Austin to get from Arlington to San Marcos and caused more stress. I would like a credit as I need to rent another 10 foot truck in 2 weeks and am not happy with the way the first rental went. Tammy at the Texas Lakeside Storage was very good in handling the situation and tried to find what we were looking for.John F.

To much money for small amount of time given to use the truck. We still had to pay for gas as well.
Be sure to get a printed out copy of the contract with the miles from the truck listed on the contract, check and verify millage before you drive off. Don't settle for the emailed version only. I got charged for miles that I didn't drive!Greg E.

I scheduled a 20' truck a week in advance for a Mansfield location off Day Miar. I received an email 3 days before pick up that the location changed due to availability. Once I got to the Arlington location, NO TRUCK!!! The truck there, keys did not fit. I schedule my pick up at 9. I didn't leave until 10:30. I left with a 15' truck and a trailer. It was difficult to get my items on the truck. We couldn't use the ramp because of the hitch (trailer). It was a terrible experience and a first since I've used Uhaul. I would of liked a phone call giving me a heads up that my reservation was messed up by the company. I was paying people by the hour which in turn costs me more money.
