ALBERT OReservation was made weeks in advance but there was no one "certified" to hitch trailer and load my car when I arrived at scheduled time. I was sent to the lot to wait and found the truck not hooked to the trailer. After waiting for 45 minutes, I called a friend who came down and helped me hitch the trailer to the truck and then load my car…all with no help from anyone from UHaul.
Susan JNo one was available to help hook up auto transport trailer and load car. Had to call a friend to come down to help. Reservation was made 3 weeks earlier so it wasn't a last minute thing
SUSAN JWindows and inside cab were very dirty. Nearly impossible to see out of driver window.

ROBERT ZHad a flat tire from the start that eventually blew out. Costing me 9 hr wait till fixed. Which inturn cost me my flight to return home. Wipers were bad putting me in a very treacherous situation. Pulled hard to the right and shook like crazy. Pathetic situation.

RYAN SShawn Pollicino our employee was so stoned on the job as to be unintelligible. He frequently fumbled over words, made mistakes using the computer and setting up our ticket and dropped things. We had worked out a deal with Terri, the 25-year u-haul employee to avoid an $80 charge by paying with a check. Shawn did Not know how to receive a check, and was not able to contact either of his two managers. The first truck that he tried to give us by contract, had a huge crack in the windshield that he had not noticed. The second vehicle he told me to take smelled so horribly like cigarettes that I could not take the vehicle or stand to be inside. The third option for me to take was not even looked at because he said it was "Intown vehicle only and not for me". After starting my U-Haul, and not being able to reset the parking brake, I returned to the building for assistance, but found the business was closed and locked, Shawn Was in the cab of a vehicle playing a game on his cell phone. He was very polite when he came back and showed me the brake release lever, and I was very happy that he took the time to show me how to deal with that properly. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, dolly, he gave me the dolly number to find, but did not come out to inspect the dolly, did not assist me in attaching it to my U-Haul, or check on the brake lights or signals. Although the truck was an older model with three times as many miles as the in town truck, it drove very effectively, giving me over 12 miles to the gallon with all of my contents in the vehicle and pulling a dolly with a vehicle on it. I traveled from Washington state to North Carolina, a trip of nearly 3000 miles across the United States. Even pulling a vehicle dolly, I had expected only wide turns were possible and had expected somewhere between eight and 10 miles to the gallon, so I was very pleased with the performance of my vehicle. Woods, the drop off location in North Carolina, went out of their way To make delivery easy, and repaid the deposit in cash.

John WTrashed out place, trashed out truck, and terrible service. Very unorganized! I would not tell anyone to pick up at this location! not very professional at all and took forever to get the truck I needed. Definitely a bad look for uhaul y'all can do better I've seen it in Texas
Micheal BIt’s OK. Very simple place but they’re helpful. if they make a mistake they correct it.
Waleed MMake sure the app works properly. Somehow, the vendor had the beginning tank recorded as full, when it was half. I returned the truck with 9/16 tank, but was inadvertently charged for 14 gallons of fuel. The amount is being refunded, but my claim was refused at first until it went to regional management.

John FThe truck ran well and I had no driving issues at all. The staff was friendly and very helpful as well. Unfortunately the truck flooring was quite dirty and the compartment windows were smeared and hard to see out of. Otherwise a very good rental experience.

GERALD wI was supposed to pick up on a Saturday and I get a call that I HAVE to pick up on Friday, SAME DAY. I had to run around town to find a hitch for my truck that wasn't on the reservation. I get to the office and the people were smoking in the office. There were cigarette buts on the floor, in the office. I informed her that I was told I had to pick up the haul today because they had to hook it up to my truck and take a picture. She said, 'oh really'. I informed her I was supposed to pick the trailer up tomorrow and got a call that I had to be here today. She said, 'yup, I'm not working weekends anymore'. She then started screaming for someone in the back. The guy comes out and she tells him that I need him to hook up the trailer. He scoffed and said I'll meet you out there. I told her I was told THEY have to hook up the trailer. She said, 'yup'. She began looking over my reservation. She said you rented 2 furniture dollies, 'well, we don't have those'. I said, well I paid for them. She clicked on something and said, 'no you didn't'. She then said, 'do you know what those are? Like I wasn't aware what I RENTED. Then she proceeded to complain about another customer who didn't know what they were. I finished checking out with her and went to my truck. The guy who was hooking up the trailer to my truck was upset with the fact he had to hook up the trailer. I again informed him that I was told they had to do it. He just ignored me. He didn't remove the chucks for me to pull the trailer out and just left. This place is horrible. There is another U-Haul out Broadway extended. Use that one instead!!
Heavenlaya FThe truck was dirty inside and out. The website said that it would include a ramp. It did not. The hand truck was not secured and banged around as I drove. The office was dirty, messy and reaked of cigarette smoke. I was overcharged by 30 miles. I had to sign an agreement before seeing or inspecting the truck. I had done the pre-check-in on-line, but had to go through the whole process in the office causing me to be way behind schedule. And I am now having to fight to get a corrected billing. An absolute worst experience ever!
Cheryl TI left the trailer in St. Regis MT and someone rented it so it went to Portland..that someone had it long enough for you guys to charge me close to a thousand dollars as if that someone was me and it WAS NOT

John KT&M they were above and beyond better than any experience I've ever had with renting anything along with Uhaul very friendly, very curtious, very clean, and for sure will come back to them for anytime I need a uhaul. There equipment so far are the best in town and they made this experience a very enjoyable one and even the return was quick. They also were very personable. So if you need a uhaul go to T&M Surplus they will treat you like your family. And you are guaranteed a good rental. Thank You So Much for That Experience.

Jeffery RHad to hookup the trailer by myself nobody came out until I was all hooked up and went back into the office to get a cord for the trailer lights. When hiking up I had to get my wife to help me lift the tongue to the hitch do to the weight. I know if my wife or myself would have strained or hurt our back booking up your company would be held accountable.

DEELA NI think it needs to be made very clear to renters that it is possible their planned drop off location will refuse to take the equipment forcing customers to spend fuel and time driving an hour or more out of their way to return the item at another location. We were first told to drop off at a location 50 minutes away from our reserved drop off point but we couldn't drive that far before they closed and ended up hauling the empty trailer 3 hours longer than we expected to get to the Moses Lake 24 hour drop off location. We will not use UHaul for a one way drop off again to this experience . In this day and age, not having a better system to reserve drop off location connected with the pick up locations in your reservation is shocking
