I was rented a truck with bad brakes. The cashier couldn't process charge card so he made me give 250 deposit in debit. He refused to refund it today. You cancelled my truck and messed up rebooking. Staff are RUDE and offensive. I was told to be quiet or he would shut the store what kind of business is this!! I have contacted the police. Call me ASAP. 587 777 8190JAMES S.

Sales rep is very courteous and helpful, except the wait for checking in is too long usually 20 - 30 mins. Last time there were 6 people lined up, definitely needs more staff at this busy outlet!! Most other outlets are much quicker, thank you.Ivan S.
The truck it self was not swept out by the previous user an absolute nightmare to drive. The steering is off alignment so the truck does not track down the road probably. Braking makes the experience even worseâ€¦when the brakes are applied the steering wheel jerks violently back and forth to the point where a less experienced driver may loose complete control of the truck. If we hadn't already loaded it we would have taken it back to get a replacement unit.Dianne W.

The check in process took a while to verify approval and then online agent did not message to my inquiry for update on approval. Meanwhile uhaul called my wife and was not sure whether approval had been given. Few minutes later confirmed via text rhat I was checked in.Brandon K.
Rented a vehicle trailer, front left tire was low on pressure (not noticed until it blew out while on highway 2) called uhaul 1800 and was advised to go online... once the issue was reported no one texted to follow up with roadside assistance. I limped in to the city from 120 km out without incident. Just took longer than normal as we kept the speed at 40-50 kph.RICK M.

They had the vehicle I needed which was really good. But they should have more than 1 person working on the weekend so you don't have to wait in line so long. Especially when you waited in line and then there's an issue with the vehicle so you have to wait in line again to get it resolved. Also, the u haul person should know what Vehicles they have and whether or not there's a unrequested trailer hooked up to the vehicle. They should also know the correct amount of gas that's in the vehicle. More staff would resolve these issues.Tracey W.

Dropping off the truck was simple. The location I had first selected to drop the truck off was far from where I moved. This location was much closer and I called to ask if I could drop the truck off there. They had no problem with it and made the return quick and easy.Devin G.
The 9am line up was rather annoying. This took over an hour to get the trailer. I had 16hrs of driving and this delay was rather annoying. Gent working the counter was as quick as one person could be and the trailer worked very well.Quinton S.
The truck was a little rough from what I am used to driving but overall it was ok. The only thing I did not like was the Smokey smell in the cab. Maybe some extra cleaning or a no smoking sign.Thomas K.

While I understand the guy during my visit was new, it was painfully slow. It took him 30 minutes to check in each person, the location only had 1 person and the online check in was not working (4 of us tried to check in online and it didn't work). The check engine light was on too.Wilson W.

There was a van parked behind my reserved truck. Guy didn't have the key to move the van. Took an our to allocate me to another truck. Everything took an hour and a half put me way behind schedule. Would never recommend this location to anyone.Jack M.
Rental was booked for 9 am pick up. Waited in line and for truck to be ready for over an hour and a half, didn't have the truck until 10:45 am. Not great for moving within a schedule time frame.Matthew C.
You can make sure that the equipment is functioning properly, the worker who assisted me was excellent, but the car trailer was defective (I didn't realize at the time) as the worker had a hard time functioning the jack, in Ottawa I had issues with the wiring harness and then in NL I had issues with the jack collapsing.Adam V.

unfortunately, my reservation/truck was booked at another location. Uhaul took my reservation for an 8' truck even though my original location doesn't actually have any 8' trucks in their inventory. end result, having to travel an additional 20km across the city (and over an hour later) to pick up the vehicle i had requested. not ideal.Gary B.

We (and several other customers in line) had trouble with the self pick-up. We rented for 8 am but a glitch in the system wouldn't let us pick up the truck until the office opened at 9:00. Several others couldn't pick up their reserved vehicles either and by the time we left, there was a line of more than 20 frustrated people.CORY P.

Trailer had a flat, after a hour wait I got a new trailer and it was missing wiring. wasted over a hour of my time. Employee was good but the site was WAY under staffed as there was a line up 10-15 people deepRyan K.
The time I arranged to pick it up was wrong. They said they didn't open till 9am but I had arranged to pick it up at 8:30. The guy gave me a bit of grief about that.Chris H.
Improve your online app as it did not provide specific information such as an image of the building where the keys were being held as it was blocked by a few semis making it hard to find when trying to pick up our vehicle at 8pm at night. Also the contact us number is not for customer service so to wait 30min and then be told I'm being transferred to another person whom I waited another 30min was not very good on a customer service level. As well when it came time for photo id, I had to give a emergency contact whom was contacted immediately whereas again I was on hold for about long time. As well I was over charged due to selecting a different location to drop off within the same city and was charged the out of town fee which was never refunded even tho after calling after booking the customer service agent said she would make sure to have fixed. Also the truck we rented didn't have the proper equipment we asked for so we had to make a return trip. So overall my u-hail experience with the truck and your customer service department is pretty low and highly suggest you focus on improving your online application service as well as improve the customer service experience.Martin F.
Very poor service and poorly maintained trailer. I rented a 6x12 utility trailer from this location and the guy at the front counter said he was late for his lunch break so I was going to have to go and find the trailer and hook it up myself. On top of this, the trailer was filled with debris that I had to sweep out myself. I also do not think that this trailer is being maintained properly as it pulled very poorly and had very loud squeaking. This was the third trailer that I rented from UHaul in three weeks and most definitely the worst!Cory R.

The manager of this branch was on vacation. One of the 2 office staff called in sick, leaving only one guy to brave the day. There was a lineup outside in 35'C in the sun, i had to wait 30 min as there were 5 customers ahead of me. The sole employee was doing a stellar job of helping everyone one by one. The top management is doing a bad job at this location, i will not rent another truck from here.Tosh S.
Ordered a 17 ft truck. Was not advised they don't have that size so had to take a 15 ft truck which caused a second trip for a number of large items that would not fit the 15 ft truck. Communication. Seems specific size vehicles are unavailable across country. In Ontario I was informed you no longer use 15 ft trucks?. Alberta states 17 ft trucks unavailable. Maybe it's time to standardize and reduce inventory of vehicles.robin O.

The customer service representative was rude and unhelpful. Originally gave us the wrong truck, didn't change the information so our text to verify the unit was incorrect. We were supposed to have trailer at that location that was canceled by uhaul the day before. Drove to brooks to get a trailer and there was a issue with the wiring on the truck. Marker lights didn't work. Had to buy something to work for marker lights. Overall horrible experienceCarol M.

It took over an hour to get the truck that was reserved for 9:30 and we were there at 9:20. There were roughly 7 people in front if me when I got then and only one person working. It delayed my schedule over an hour just to get a truck was already reserved.Corinne D.
A week before my reservation, I called the location to confirm my reservation. During the conversation I asked what was the earliest I could pick up the vehicle. I was told 8:30 even the posted hours on the website was 9 am. So that is when I arrived. No one showed up until 8:45. So I was a bit annoyed because he said they didn't open until 9:00. So I asked him could he start the paper work. He said he wouldn't start until 9. Then at 9 he couldn't log on to the companies site. It took him a half an hour to got logged into your site. So basically I lost an hour of time waiting to get the vehicle. At pick up the vehicle was a little less than half full of gas, So that's what I filled it to. Upon return was charged $18.86 for fuel! No friggin way I was short the much fuel! A rip off. Then on top of it, when I returned the vehicle, the young lad wanted me to fold the blankets I rented No way was a I going to do that. Overall I was quite disappointed in the service today. I should have received a discount for the screw up in the morning rather be charged an excessive amount for a slight variance in the reading of the fuel gage. Disappointing,Steve W.

I made a reservation for an auto transport. I called twice and confirmed with the person on the phone (appears to be the manager). Next day uhaul reservations call me said it is only intown trailer. I need to drive 3 hours to pick up the other one but the store closes in 2.5 hours. Now I am in the US and my car is stuck in Canada. Uhaul is horrible and their reservation rep was rude. I will never do business with you or recommend uhaul to anyone.Jason R.
This location has more space than most I have been at, and from my perspective that's a good thing. It's less stressful to drive around when the space is not too crowded. As a smaller location, I was fortunate that no one was there ahead of me so the service was quick.Vic F.

Great staff and was in & out fast. By far, the best Uhaul location I've ever been to. I would certainly book Uhaul trailers far more often if this location was closer to my office versus the couple closer locations that are a pain to deal with.Harvey C.

Improved signage at the location would have made the office easier to find. When entering from Symon's Valley Rd the first office you find ISN'T the right one, even though it's labelled as an office of this rental company. You have to drive over to the North side of the lot to find the "right" office.Derek T.
