The location is tough to figure out where to park; especially with large trucks and if having to maneuver around other vehicles. I have sent an email but I was charged for extra things that I should not have been charged for upon returning.

It is unclear where to take vehicle. The area with U-Hauls parked was too small for the number of vehicles there. No clear parking spots

I tried to use Southide Rental for this. They were not there when I arrived, and turns out that they forgot to prepare my truck and have it ready. I ran to Switchyard Storage and they IMMEDIATELY got me a truck and apologized for the U Haul problem. They were fantastic. 10/10.

I had a problem with a tire leaking air while on the road, I called uhaul, explained where I was and the direction I was headed, in a matter of minutes they had called me back and set up a meeting point with a tire repair service, in less than an hour from the initial call I was back on the road.... Kuddos to uhaul

The driveway is very steep and only has a tiny sign that is easy to miss until the last second. Putting up a larger sign would be a relatively easy improvement.

Anthony single handedly made our experience a positive one. He took the time to provide guidance when the truck wouldn't start. And when our Moving Help contractor (Magic Movers in Bloomington) was a no show/no call/no phone, he came over and helped my husband unload the truck. Unbelievable service. This man should be developed to run a region.

Anthony was fantastic. He helped us out with a last minute rental on a very busy day and the vehicle size we ordered was not back from its previous renter. Anthony didn't hesitate in securing us an upgraded larger vehicle, with no additional charge since we contracted for the smaller less expensive one. He thought about the clients experience first, which is rare nowadays. True professional and businessman. We will be renting from him again. Thank you Anthony!!

I had the vehicle rented for multiple days and on the day I was set to return it, I was asked to bring it in multiple hours before my rental agreement was up because it was "already booked" by someone else. This altered my plans and the employee who called me about it did not seem apologetic for demanding the truck back by a different time.

I believe there is communication misunderstanding between us, but the attitude I get from here is vert disappointing. When I made the reservation on 07/31, I choose no damage protection/insurance. I tried to check in online according to the guidance, but the customer service said he was busy and will contact me later, which he never did. So the next day I went there and check in face to face. When I was about to leave, I asked if I can park my own car in the corner of parking lot, the same customer representative said yes, and added:" do you keep the insurance on the vehicle". I thought he was refering to my car in case anything happened in the parking lot, so I said yes and leave. When I returned the truck in the afternoon and received the receipt through my email(jq4@iu.edu), I surprisingly found there was a $14 safemove fee. I called back immediately, but the customer representative insisted that he got my affirmation for adding the insurance. I thought I might have missed some sentence in our conversation, so I said "maybe I missed something". It only occured to me an hour later that the last sentence he added to me was refering to the u-haul truck. But when we were talking over the phone about this issue, his attitude was very disappointing. He used sentences like "it is not my problem you don't understand English." And he said he will see what he can do and get back to me, which he never did again. Even though after I realized what this huge misunderstanding was and called back, he just refused to answer my call. I understand that misunderstanding can happen sometime to anyone, but this experience I got from the U-haul customer representative is very very disappointing. I hope I can hear back from you and help me solve this issue. Thank you.

I reserved a 17 ft. truck for 5pm on 07/26/20 for 25 hours. Order went through, and no problems came up. I was contacted and learned that the location would only have a 15 ft. truck to pick up at 9 am. I found out I could not have the truck I needed for the time allotted for my move. I decided to cut a few corners in the moving process and proceed. So far, so good (but not ideal). I get to the location to pick up the truck using the 24/7 pickup service to find out that THE LOCATION WAS CLOSED AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE DUE TO THE CHANGES A UHAUL REP MADE TO MY ORDER. I called the corporate truck share number to find that the keys I checked out for my vehicle were in an UNLOCKED KEY BOX. This vehicle was checked out under my name with insecure keys! Will be following up with a lawyer about this misconduct.

While one notified the employee cleaned it out, the truck had cigarette ash on the seats and smelled of cigarette smoke. Not sure if it's a rule but please don't let people smoke in the vehicles.

Because this location wasn't open, I had to do the check in online, which was fine, but I had some trouble lifting the trailer on my own. If there weren't some construction guys right there that let me borrow a board, I don't know what I would have done.

The location wasn't open but you can drop off the truck 24 hours a day. No one was there so it is hard to rate what you couldn't see or service you don't get. The app made it easy enough to drop off the truck.

Let the customers know that the virtual pick up can take upwards of 15 minutes. The process involved much more information-giving than expected, a process that probably should have been included in the reservation stage of the operation.

The vehicle was a bit dirty to be honest, not trying to be rude- I know its for moving and dirt doesn't bother me but I was under the impression it would have been sanitized since covid is rampant. I sanitized my own vehicle since it had not been wiped down. It also had cigarette ashes in some places. Owner was very nice and helpful. I was also frustrated because I scheduled a pickup time of 12. They changed it to 9 in the morning. When I got to the pickup place at Southside rental they important to me I needed to go to switchyard instead. It would have been nice to receive an email letting me know that both my pick up time and pick a place were different. The vehicle was in great working condition but the brakes were a bit soft just so everyone knows. But it drove quite well and I was pleased with my overall experience.

The problem was with the 10-foot truck operation. Speed limiter is a SAFETY Hazard. Was getting passed by 12 foot U-hauls the entire trip. Could not get out of the way of trucks when needed. and no cruise control. Horrible. Will rent from Penske next time.

Anthony Miller saved the day for us. My cell phone was too old to do everything for self pickup. Called helpline and they were nice but couldn't help me download passport. Thank the Lord Anthony Miller was in the store (on his day off!) And ce out to see if we needed help. We sure did. Anthony fixed everything for us. I will use switchyard storage again because of Anthony going above and beyond. Bill Abbott.

My equipment was not ready, the keys were not available, mileage and fuel were incorrect, I waited an hour to resolve their issues and the requested moving equipment was not available, they sent me across town to pick it up which was another 30 minutes. In all they delayed me two Hours to resolve their challenges. Horrific experience!

so first there was marijuana in the trucks cup holders just stuck to the bottom and made the whole place smell. Next would be the fact that water leaked through the back of the truck ruining a bedroom set lastly the fact that the drop off location charged me to clean the pool of water in the back and the front worst experience i've ever heard with a company
