Kevin AWhile the pickup in Marengo was good, I should have never needed to go there. My pickup location was supposed to be in Iowa City, IA but they failed to have my rental needs ready. This past weekend was a busy weekend for moving in Iowa City, but it is like that every year and Uhaul needs to be better prepared. It was absolutely unacceptable that their first recommendation to me after failing to have my reservation ready was for me to drive an hour and a half EACH way to a location in Dubuque, IA. It is Uhaul's fault for this problem and did next to nothing to fix it for me. Again, while the people in Marengo were very nice to work with (and if need be I'd recommend that location) I will most likely never use Uhaul again--I would need to be in a desperate situation to do so.

Aaron PThe only dissatisfaction I had from is was I was filled the tank back up to almost the required amount. I was just mm under what it left with so I took it back an placed more gas in it and brought it back. I did not use the full amount of mileage that was estimated for use but ended up still getting charge the full amount. I never received a refund for the difference. Other than that I was pleased with the overall service and equipment availability in such a short notice.

Robert JFirst they cancelled my reservation that caused me at least an hour of wait time on hold with customer service. One connected Sabrina made sure it was reactivated and we were ready to start pre check in. Make sure you pre-check your equipment before letting it leave your lot. After pickup we noted that the left lights were not working for which I called them and they said that they would make a note of it on my agreement/reservation was hoping they would have said to bring it in so they could fix it, I also had to tighten down the right fender too. My father was driving behind me and told me not even 7 miles out of town that the other light had stopped working (only the turn signal was working) so I had to put on the blinkers of the care I was towing turning them off only after it got light enough to see the cars back end. All in all this dolly was not worth the $140.00 spent and I feel robbed.

Karen SThis review does not pertain to the pick up location. The pick up location was very helpful! We are upset about our reservation. We reserved a truck in Waterloo Iowa at 9am, however had to pick up the truck 45 minutes away. Which meant we had to pick it up the evening before to have it at our house on time. Honoring the reservation location and time is important for the sale of a house. We are extremely disappointed with Uhaul reservation and will most likely use another company in the future.

Carla HDid not seem to know how to easily check out. Took 45 minutes just to pick up and that was without the 4 wheel dolly we had ordered. Pick up location was changed adding 16 miles to the trip and then was billed for the extra. Drop off at Waukee was excellent! Too bad there is not a consistent level of service at dealerships!
Marilyn SThe UHaul tablet the store was using was giving the attendant trouble. He said that happened often. I guess in today's world do ALL you can yourself online as far as check in. Take your own license photos.

davidd hIt took way to long to check out, they kept making mistakes. The trailer was dirty and I had to wash it before I used it. I drove 45 minutes to be able to find a trailer the size I wanted. They were bringing one to my town the day before because they had two, but yet I had to spend my gas to pick it up because they wouldn't bring another one to me in the same town. Why did that person in the same town not have to drive 45 minutes to pick up.
Deric OHORRIBLE service and we were charged for 2 days when we only had the truck for 1 day and the clerk lied to me about the check in time and blamed Uhaul. Too many complaints to list.
