Do not lie about gas levels. You will lose customers for life. It’s not worth it for a couple extra dollars. I had to rent again the next day and had to use Penske. Do not add an extra day if someone goes over by an hour. I have used U-Haul for many years and no one charged exrtra if I brought it back the same day. You clearly do not understand customer service and how to retain and get more customers. I will also be leaving a review on google to warn others.

The clerk refused to check mileage and gas level with me. She said the information would be on my emailed invoice. They charged me an additional day rental. I returned the truck 4 hours early.

My return time was set for 8 pm and they charged me late fees because I didn’t bring the truck back by 6 pm when they closed but it was never explained to me that I needed to be back by closing time

Truck was properly parked and keys were left in drop box. The next day the truck still had not been checked in. Numerous calls to the location and the representative "could not locate the truck" although it was parked outside. Security deposit still has not been released.

I used Movinghelp.com. The U-Haul app would not save my request for a morning appointment. I called the mover to arrange a morning appt despite the app being faulty. He agreed. He then didn’t show at our arranged time. I loaded the truck myself due to checkout time being 10 am from my Air BnB. Moving Help has not returned the money and the mover continues to lie. I am moving on to a BBB complaint, which allows me to submit images of the text messages.

When I called the return location, an employee told me she extended the rental until 5pm. We showed up shortly after 4pm and was charged for another day. That is crappy and uncalled for.

The truck was filthy. The truck had an airbag light on and I couldn’t .The truck was filthy. The truck had a airbag light on and I couldn’t drive the truck over 45 miles an hour due to a loud roaring noise and vibration in the truck. I believe both issues are against FL DOT regulations and UHaul thinks it’s ok to put these trucks out on the road.

1. Use closest P/U location. P/U location was 6 1/2 miles from our location. We passed 3 U-Haul locations closer to us enroute to the actual P/U location, including a U-Haul rental and storage center. 2. Folks at the business at the P/U location had trouble locating the code for the U-Haul outside lockbox holding the truck key.

Please have that location put up UHAUL sign, drive by the location 3 time. A sign would have help!!

The truck was fine but U-Haul customer service was very poor. Showed up at the location where the truck was supposed to be and it was not there. This is after I was dropped off and then I had to find another ride to get to the location they said I had to go to to get a truck. Will not likely use U-Haul again.Someone should’ve notified me if a truck was not going to be available.

I had half a tank left in the tank more than the 3/8 i was supposed to leave. I was still charged the 11.00 for the 11 miles I went over . could you refund the 11 to me?Its only fair

We picked up the uhaul they said it had 1/8 of a tank of gas and that’s how it was to be returned. Well we about ran out of gas as we got a few blocks away. We turned it in with 1/4 tank. Got charged and additional 41.24 because it didn’t have enough gas. Be clear people do you just want us to fill it up for free with these outrageous gas prices! Will not rent from uhaul again.

I made a reservation weeks a ago for a truck and 3 furniture dolly’s and 1 cargo dolly at a U-Haul location close to my house to move a piano on a 1-way from Jacksonville FL to Birmingham AL. The morning of the move my pick up location was changed to a location over 10 miles from my house and when contacted the new pick up site did not have enough dollys to move the piano. Chris at the pick up site did a great job but he could not find any dollys near by. I called several locations and the 800 number and scheduling and go no help in locating dollies which I thought I reserved weeks ago. I was instructed to keep calling around Jax. Since this change and lack of equipment occurred the day of my move I had no choice but to spend $250 additional dollars to buy follies from Lowe’s. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of customer service, and the additional unplanned time and expense. I feel it is only fair that U-haul issue a billing credit.

Truck was really dirty inside and sticky everywhere. I was given an older model, high mileage vehicle to haul a full load over five states. Poor suspension and very uncomfortable seat.

First of all I was given wrong truck in the system second the utility dolly I requested and pay for I didn’t received when I was moving my appliances they slide off the doll they did give me scratching my house utilities

The pick up was not where I requested. I drove by 3 U-haul sites on my way to drop off the vehicle. If I dropped it off at one of these I would be charged a fee. Makes no sense to me.
