An employee of U-HAUL was not available to dispatch the truck when we arrived, which caused a delay. We were able to complete the process by phone and with the help of a person at the farm, however. The person at the farm knew where the blankets were but not the number of blankets in each package. As a result we did not have enough for the move.Elizabeth N.

There was only one new young employee working who had never been trained on the uhaul process. He had to be walked through it over the phone by the manager. He had also never driven a uhaul or hooked up an auto trailer to a uhaul. I had yo back the uhaul up to the trailer because the worker couldn't do it. It took an hour and 20 minutes. It was incredibly unprofessional to be so unprepared. There was another family waiting as well to get their uhaul. Does not make sense at all to have a new employee working on a day with multiple uhaul reservations. The kid did his best and wasn't to blame.Aurora A.
After completing the rental check out process, being charged, the one and only truck in the size I rented, had a check engine light on. Someone in maintenance dispatch asked me if I would feel comfortable driving the truck. No I would not feel comfortable driving that truck from Arizona to Florida. Dumb question! The guy at the rental location was really nice and apologetic. It wasn't his fault and I'm not blaming him because UHaul sent me there when that was not where I wanted to pick up the truck in the first place.Leslie W.

Brake light fell out on the way to picking up vehicle. When got to the vehicle one of the straps was in a knot so I had to go back to get another car tow dolly. When I got to the vehicle the second time with the new dolly they never tightened down the dolly on the tow hitch. So when i got the vehicle on, it went flying up.Ray W.

Trucks were newer and clean. One truck was returned and not used. Traveled 12 miles. Was told would only be charged for the mileage but was also charged a one day rental fee. Gas was at 1/4 at pick up. I returned it FULL tank. Don't think I should've been charged the day's rental fees.Sheila G.

Truck had HAZMAT Material in passenger door panel. Severe violation in Welfare laws. Exhaust was loud. According to Mesa Code Enforcement there was/is a severe exhaust leak. Loud clunk under front end of truck. Truck interior was filthy. Prices severely different from previous rental of the same size truck??? Why? Cost should be standardized.jeffrey S.

easy close location...and the staff was ready for us :) the only comment I have is that the internet search for the trailer size did not show this location, but one a lot further away... but I was directed to this location. The air did not work in the truck that I rented. I had to move in 111-degree heat with no air. This was a horrible experience for me.Elvin W.
Was suppose to pick up rental truck at 0900. No one at location. Finally at 0920 was able to get ahold of Uhaul on the phone. I asked if this location is suppose to be open. She said yes and put me on hold to call manager of pick up location. At 0925 uhaul said the manager was on property and would be over shortly. In the mean time we were having to keep a big damn billy goat from hitting our car!!! Finally someone showed up at 0950. Truck was filthy in box area and smelled of smoke in cab. Not OK!! After another 40m on hold talked to uhaul customer service. Only giving $50 discount. I will NOT rent from Uhaul again. It is NEVER the location we reserve to pick up a truck.
