The woman who checked me in for my rental was so rude and has almost ruined my opinion of Uhaul as a whole. I asked her to verify that my allotted miles had been updated because my pick up location was changed the day prior to my pick up. She said she had nothing to do with that so I asked her to wait to charge my card until I talked to Uhaul. She threw my debit card onto the counter at me. While I was on hold she decided to update the miles herself. So she lied to me about not being able to update the miles. When she gave me the keys, she walked outside with me to show me where the truck was. I asked her to give me a moment to grab some things from my car. She didn’t wait for me. I caught up to her and she opened the back gate to show me the truck was swept and that was it. She could not be bothered to do an inspection with me. The gas was at a quarter tank while my contract stated it was halfway between a quarter and a half tank. When I got the truck on the highway, the motor died when I tried to adjust the wheel tilt. I was able to get the truck started again and notified my drop off location of the mechanical issue. Very poor customer service at this location.

Nothing. I rented a trailer and once I arrived at my destination, I had a problem with the trailer hitch. Uhaul customer service directed me to a local drop off location and waived the drop off fee due to the unforeseen emergency. True customer service!!
