I am rating excellent because the people here are so helpful and efficient and they always make it work out. And, I rated NA for clean and maintained because a panel on the floor of the truck popped out, making it very difficult to manuver around -- we got stuck in the hole a lot. Not exactly sure this is a maintenance issue, but it did seem like there were rivets missing that might have been needed to keep that panel in place.

I only need a truck, not all the extra stuff, so making a reservation is a little tedious having to go through every screeen saying 'No I don't need this'. What I DO need is the exact dimensions of the surface of the truck. Minus all the things sticking out! The little holder for the dolly I don't need. the wheel wells. And this time -- the big bag of blankets that was attached right at the entrance -- in the way of loading!!! Also, the bottom surface seemed to have been patched many times, which made it difficult to slide heavy things over. Wheels got stuck.

The truck assigned had lots of visible body damage. Mirrors which are critical were in poor condition probably from previous incidents.

My pick up location was changed at the lat minute to a 45 min. drive from the proposed initial location. I called and basically told unceremoniously too bad. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they were all on vacation. I asked for a call when they came back, and I have yet to be contacted. I would find hard to say that the service from a corporate perspective was anything but poor. This is not a reflection of the pick up location which was pleasant. Overall, I would n't reccomend UHaul because they can switch locations at the last minute with no recourse, and at that point I was stuck without time to make other arrangements. If I book a pick up location 4weeks in advance the truck I want should be at that location. NO EXCUSE.

The truck I had, the brake rotors were badly warped. Most common issue on rental vehicles. Not sure how you improve, just an fyi. The woman that checked the vehicle in, commented she will take it out of the fleet immediately, and schedule it for repair. Great staff, great customer service.

There’s honestly nothing I could ask of to be improved upon! Jennifer was by far the most amazing Uhaul representative!!! She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, helpful and pleasant! She went above and beyond to make for a most amazing experience!!! We will definitely be back to rent from her in the future! She’s worth her weight in GOLD! Jennifer my boys and I thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️

The woman at 28th St storage provides great customer service! She is always friendly, helpful and knows her products unhaul. She is able to get you in and out in a reasonable time. The trucks are always clean and this last time I rented my truck included a backup camera on the rear view mirror (nice) along with gauges to let you know what MPH to be on to save gas ( another cool new feature). I continue using this service through 28th St Storage because she makes things so easy! I highly recommend this business and all their services! Thank you.

I AM STILL WAITING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO CALL ME ABOUT MY HORIFYING UHAUL TRUCK. IT ALMOST MADE ME THROW UP SEVERAL TIMES. THE RIDE WAS SOOOO ROUGH. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. IT WAS POURING DOWN RAIN THE WHOLE TRIP; AND THE WINDSHIELD WIPPERS WOULD NOT MOVE QUICK ENOUGH. IT WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. WE COULD NOT EVEN SEE OUT OF THE WINDOW. COME TO FIND OUT THERE WAS A HUGE HOLE IN THE ROOF WHERE THE RAIN CAME THROUGH AND GOT ALL OVER MY BOXES AND MY FURNITURE. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THE TRUCK HAD A TON OF SCRATCHES AND DENTS ALL OVER , BUT THE GAL DID NOT LOOK AT THE INSIDE ON THE ROOF. SHE SAID THE OTHER PEOPLE LEFT IT REAL STICKY ON THE FLOOR SO SHE CLEANED IT UP BEFORE I GOT IN. I DID NOT HAVE ALOT IN THERE. MY THINGS WERE ONLY ABOUNT 4 FEET HIGH. BUT THE RAIN CAME IN AND RUINED SO MUCH. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS AND TO THINK YOU DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. NOT ONE HAS EVEN CALLED ME. I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH YOUR COMPANY ALMOST THE WHOLE TRIP DOWN THERE BECAUSE WE WERE VERY SCARED. I THOUGHT THE TRUCK WAS GOING TO BREAK DOWN WITH ALL THE SHAKING AND NOISE, BUT THEY REASSURED ME THE TRUCK JUST HAD AN EXTENSIVE OVERHAUL. WHO KNOW WHAT THE TRUTH IS. WHY SWOULD YOU HAVE SUCH CHEAP WINDSHIELD WIPPERS.???? THIS IS SOOOOO DANGEROUS. I AM SO DISSAPOIHNTED IN THIS WHOLE PROCESS OF YOUR COMPANY. YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME ABOUT THE CHARGES IMMEDIATELY!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. THE PEOPLE I TALK TO ON THE PHONE WERE VERY KIND, ONLY A FEW WERE NOT. BUT I WAS SCARED FOR 5 HOURS ON THE WAY TO ORANGE COUNTY TO DELIVER MY FURNITURE AND BOXES, ETC. THAT IS A VERY HARD FEELING TO HAVE FOR 5 HOURS. YOU GUYS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES TO PUT OUT A TRUCK THAT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE!!!!!!!

I had to provide too much personal information. The process was lengthy, convoluted, and required my smartphone. The truck was very dirty inside and out. I was unable to provide a positive review for the excellent movers I hired through your website without creating a uhaul account, which I would not do. I will not use uhaul ever again. It was a very bad experience. I should not have to do anything but show you my drivers license and present a credit card to rent a truck for two hours. You suck.

When we arrived at this location no one was there to receive the trailer and there no local contact number posted. We wasted an hour waiting for someone to show up.

Going through the channels of using the phone operator is a little frustrating because they are not in the same area I was today. And you have to leave message in reference of information or help such as a code not working at the gate. Fortunately I knew where the office was because it was in a different location than the actual storage location. I was helped graciously by a knowledgeable staff with my predicament.

Never never send me or anyone else to Michaels upholstery in Atascadero He was supposed to be open. Did not answer his door or phone Canceled that reservation and picked up an available truck at SuperStorage in Paso Robles. I have used them before and they are terrific They are professional and kind

The service was great at this location. My only complaint is towards U-Haul logistic planners, the reservation pickup was changed to a much longer drive for me. As well, the drop off location that was selected couldn't accept my trailer. This required me to drive to another location. Again, both locations were great, this is not a negative review on them.

The only problem was when I got there they told me sorry but uhaul had double booked two of us and so their was no truck for me, I told them I reserved it ahead of time and drove over a hour to get here to get it, the lady did handled the problem and was very nice. That had one bigger truck and would give it to me for the same price,which was very nice but they really red to make sure they don’t double book
