there is something wrong with U-Haul's website because it would not pull this location up as a choice. I knew it was there and it was the most convenient location for me to pick up and drop back off. I had to call him directly instead of using your website. Gentlemen running it was very professional, helpful, etc and you should send more customers his direction... fix it where he is an option when entering "Texarkana"... never came up even after scrolling through 4 pages and other towns even starting showing so I knew something was wrong.Trace W.

Although I would go back to this location, just need to mention one item of discontent. I had ordered 40 blankets for this move. He only had 18 (3 sets of 6). Just because he didn't have them at my pickup location is not my problem. I ordered 40 blankets well in advance so UHAUL has no excuse for not having them. They did make it right when I returned the truck. But the pick up location had no business charging me for the 40 blankets. Out of the 18 blankets I rented I lost one and paid for it (which is fair).Brooks W.

I reserved a 10' truck with dolly for mobile pick up at a preferred location 2 weeks in advance but at the day of pick up my reservation it was in a different location, was not applicable for mobile pick up, i was given a 15â€ instead and does not have the dolly i requested even though i was still charged for it. I did not receive any emails or call regarding this changes. With their phone agent's help, (Marvin) they were able to change my reservation for mobile pick up but this process took an additional 1 hour. It's the first time i encountered this inconvenience and hoping for better communication next time to avoid delays.Andro C.

We rented a dolly and before we got a mile down the road the whole light fixture fall off. I called U-haul after hours number and was told to buy a temporary light but the lady couldn't tell me if I would get my money back. The gentleman who rented us the dolly was very professional and the dolly was clean.Cynthia S.

There were no personnel at this location when the trailer was dropped off. It was not at night, the trailer was dropped off around noon on 8/10. We called the rental pickup location to ask what should be done - we were told just to leave it.James L.

The dust cover on my truck was dragging when I returned the trailer. The young man pulled off what he could but was unable to get it all out from under my truck. Today, the temp was 108 and the heat index at 116. A true gentleman.Joan K A.

I rented a trailer to tow a car 70 miles. The amount doubled when I changed location and the trailer had light bulbs hanging off of it in the rear when I picked it up. The jack only worked to load the car. It would be longer work to unload the car. When I dropped it off the guy had to beat it with a hammer and finally just had to get help to pick it up off my hitch. The experience was beyond ghetto. $140 wastedchristopher M.

When we picked the Uhaul up, the dash read Low tire pressure. I would have thought these vehicles would be checked out before renting them. I booked my Uhaul online and the place I picked to pick it up and the place I picked to leave it at were BOTH changed without me knowing about it. Next time I WON'T use the web to book a Uhaul.Clyde H.

I reserved a 17 foot truck a week in advance and it was sitting on the the lot when i got there; however I was told that I'd be getting the 15 foot truck b/c one of their "frequent customers" wanted the 17. I left a few things behind in Texarkana; some that i had to give away; some other things I will have to spend money going back to pick up. This experience w/the truck was very bad. The folks on Jefferson that provided the Car Dolly were much more professional.BRYCE C.

We rented an eight by ten covered Traylor to go one way and after we got it loaded we noticed one of the four tires was flat. That caused us to have to delay our move until the next morning. The service man did come out the next day quickly and was extremely courteous but he said that this particular location had done this several times before. We had good experiences with U Haul but I would not return to that particular location. It made our 330 trip very hard for not getting on the road the day before.NORMAN M.

Someone from U-Haul was suppose to call me before 6 pm the day before pick up. No one called and I had to call the 800 number on my contract to see where the truck was located.The truck could have been cleaner. The tires were dirty. The inside smelled like cigarette smoke, which was not good for me since I do not smoke. The outside had not been washed. Allot of bugs on the windshield from night driving. The cargo light did not work. However, the truck drove really well.IWONA R.

I originally made a reservation for a 14' truck with the storage business on Jefferson Blvd in Texarkana, AR. When I arrived to pick up my truck I was told that a manager, knowing I had reserved the truck, took it, although it was the only 14' truck on the lot and told the sales clerk to rent me a 20' truck at the price of a 14'. The 20' was too big for me to safely drive - which is why I did not reserve it. I then asked the clerk to call the Super Splash location - which is around the corner- to see if they had a 14' truck. They had a 17' truck, which I agreed for rent. I arrived at Super Splash within 2 minutes and was told the manager we had spoken with had gone to run an errand- even though he knew I was on my way- and there was no one else at that location who knew how to do truck rentals - so I was supposed to wait for the manager to return. I was very upset. It took me one hour to finally get a truck when I already had a reservation. IF I EVER use Uhaul again, I will use a location on the Texas side of Texarkana. Maybe they value their customers more over there.DONNA B.

The entire experience renting from the origination location was a disaster. The tow daily failed to have brake lights, yet the salesman insisted that we could travel on the road without them. 5 miles on the freeway we were pulled over and cited. Entering into a new state, we were pulled over again to discover that the equipment serial number and the paperwork conflicted with each other and was deemed stolen property. We had to turn on the parking lights on the vehicle being towed and the battery died on the car during transport. This forced us to buy a new battery just to offload the vehicle from the trailer. Horrible experience. Will never rent from this location again.Corey B.

I believe the mileage of the truck left was recorded wrong at the pick up location. I did not check it before leaving and was over by 16 miles the total trip. I picked up the truck 1 mile from loading and drove 18 miles after reaching Texarkana Arkansas. I suggest anyone renting to check the mileage of the truck before leaving. The cost for the overage was very little but it could be a lot if not recorded properly.Jeffrey T.

Printer was not working so could not get receipt, had to get one through customer service email. Staff was helpful, courteous and drop off went smooth except for the printer not working :). Did not appear to be a lot of room to park trailers or trucks here, but I guess you folks have worked that all out already. Overall, I'm a happy customer, beginning to end. ¡Gracias!JEFF H.

To improve customer relations,Cancel this location as a uhaul subcontarctor move to some other bussiness. I requested assistance in hooking up a AT at pick up, Owner/Manger refused. Harassed me verbally in front of wife and family, made false accusations against me, threaten me with calling police and threats of having me arrested on false aligations. All I requsted was help with hooking up the AT and was treated in a very inhumane matter in which myself and family memebers indured Mental Anguish as a result of the treament by mangement.WATTERS G.
The truck was old. It had 168,000 mlies on it. THe side was broken. The radio didn;t work. It was just a really old truck. I was supposed to get a mileage credit for using an alternate pick up location, but the vendor did not know how to do it.JASON L.

I marked no on the question about how clean it was and how well maintained because there was a big dent on one of the fenders. It was very clean. The people at this location were very nice and helpful. We did not have a good experience with Jefferson Mini Storage. These guys made it better and were very nice.Melissa B.
