Location was convenient, and the guy who hooked up my car dolly was great, but the girl who checked me in had terrible customer service skills. When my reservation was moved from Ocean Shores Inn to the gas station, I got a convenient text message from Uhaul providing me with a phone number to confirm my reservation at the new location. The girl that answered the phone put me on hold, hung up on me (which she blamed on something else), so I called back, she put me on hold for over 5 minutes, then told me she had no record of the reservation and told me to contact Uhaul (which I thought she was Uhaul) and then hung up on me. As the only phone number I had on my reservation was for the Ocean Shores Inn, I spoke to someone there who placed me on hold while she called the second location and straightened out my reservation, confirming everything for me. I was very grateful to the woman at the Inn. Also, after getting the car dolly attached, the turn signals ended up not functioning for the 3 hour drive north I had to make. The wires were in awful shape. I'm surprised I had lights at all.

this was my second rental from this location, everyone was friendly and helpful. I really respect and appreciate that the staff takes the time to help me with my Uhaul rental even though they are often quite busy ringing up customers purchasing fuel or items from the food portion of the store. Totally multi tasking. Well done Sunshine 76

When quoting a price to a customer you need to include taxes and insurance also because it makes a big difference when you go to pay the bill.

Customer service was good at both locations. I reserved a truck at one location and ade arrangements to pick it up early. Upon arriving I was told they didn't have the truck. After 1 hour I had to drive to the second location, to find out they didn't open for over 2 more hours. Luckily that attendant arrived early so I only had a 2 hour delay. Missed my appointment for merchandise pick up.

I had to connect the trailer by myself. I am disabled and must use a cane or a walker yet I had to connect and perform my own inspections 100%. On return a different set of employees where there. They waited for me at the retail counter. At least I was assisted on disconnect. Albeit there were distractions by the employees friends as they followed him around in a vehicle. If you don't know what you are doing, you might want to go somewhere else. The trailer was great, and in very nice condition. In the end I did get my project done.

Did a quick in town move, drove the truck a total of 7 miles. Friendly service and everything went perfect. I would recommend this location to anyone. Allow yourself plenty of time for the paperwork as this location is in a gas station/ mini mart. Lots of folks in and out. Great experience!

There needs to be better communication with the customer for after-hours drop-off. The young man was pleasant enough, but offered literally no guidance on where to park the vehicle - 26' long.

Rented a 26 foot moving truck and a auto transport moved from Washington to Las Vegas. I was afraid the truck might not have enough power but to my surprise it towed beautifully. Good gas mileage, all the comforts and handling of a car.

Central customer service needs to staff inbound call center better. Always a wait time. Plus, you need to notify the caller the approximate hold time. Thank you.

It didn't seem like they did too many Washington to Canada rentals. This took about 30 minutes to complete. The chains dragged which didn't seem safe. I didn't really want "safe tow" I just stated that I had a safe tow method.

We had a hard time finding the drop off location on our one way rental. Location was confusing. No address or name displayed. Personnel were rude and surly. We were told to sweep out the truck. When we seemed puzzled the guy threw the broom in the truck and said, "So which one of you is going to do it?" No kindness shown at all. We left feeling awful.

I picked up my Uhaul at the Sunshine Deli Market 2298 SR 109 Ocean Shores, WA 98569 I received Excellent customer service there and even saved money, they were outstanding in helping me with my needs. I would recommend them as a favored place to go.

Staff lied, where verbally abusive, the male was a complete ass, stood behind the counter and was a dick, refusing to honor the online estimate after having stolen the reservation from the Sands Motel in Ocean Shores. When called their behavior they pretended to call the regional manager. The male of the husband and wife team refused to come outside and load the truck with equipment and sent his wife out to do a mans job. These people are losers.

After being told by the 1800 number employee that there was a location in aberdeen open 24 hrs, luckily I called and they told me they were only open til 7 but closed early. They also stated the didn't have room for the 26 foot truck. Called the sunshine market and they told me to bring it in the next day. Went in and they handled everything exceptionally

As a walk in customer, it took almost 45 minutes to rent a trailer. Person taking information just kept giving me excuses as to why it (computer) wasn't doing what she wanted it to do. She kept blaming other people and was rude about it. Upon trying to return the trailer, was told they could not take care of that right now. They wanted me to come back in a few hours. I don't think so.

Allow customers to drop - off at location convenient to the customer. It should be the responsibility of U-Haul and/or it's sub-contractors to shuttle vehicles to any other location, NOT the responsibility of the customer.

Equipment was not roadworthy. Both front tires were bald on the outside. Was told this was the only available equipment. Originally made reservation with Ocean Shores Inn, but was told they couldn't fulfill. Went to new location, was told original equipment had a flat, so they went to Aberdeen to get this unsatisfactory truck. I had sold and closed my home, so I had no choice but to accept this truck. As I passed through Utah, 30 miles West of Salt Lake City, the front tires got drastically out of balance, and the truck shook out of control. I pulled the truck off the road as best I could, and waited for three hours in 100 degree heat for roadside assistance to show up, only to be told they couldn't help. Babied the truck 9 miles to a truck stop, where I waited another 5 hours, until I told roadside assistance that I was not going to wait another 2 hours for a tire tech to show up, which would have been 2:30am. I went to the motel, and after the tire tech and the tow truck did their jobs, I proceeded the next day after 10am. All of this because of bad equipment. And, by the way, the windshield wipers needed replacing, which I found out when I went through a rainstorm in Wyoming.

Make sure there trailer is not so old that it breaks down! The lighting system was old and corroded and went out less than 100 miles into my 2400 mile trip causing me to lose a day of travel time.

The dropoff office wasn't marked. I thought it was by where the trucks were parked, but was actually the gas station/mini market. But all worked out well. Maybe mark it better.

The only glitch we had with reserving our U-Haul was a misunderstanding when we asked for a tow dolley to tow our vehicle. We ended up having to drive to second location, 30 min from first location, to pick it up. Then we had to go through all the information again even though the first location had already asked us the questions and was entering it into the computer.

Very disorganized, cluttered space, understaffed. Poor customer service. Will go to Aberdeen next time to rent even if it is 25 miles out of my way.
