Even though I was sent an email to pre check in & pay b/c of COVID (which I did) I still had to wait in line for a 1/2 hr. I had 2 people ahead of me. I was then told I had to pay more $ on top of what I was already charged???!!!! Apparently the website doesn't add the taxes & â€œ$5 safety feeâ€....so I had to be charged an additional $136 on top of me already â€œpaying for my trailer rentalâ€ What a joke. There were zero issues with staff. Friendly and helpful. The issue was with the trailer. I rented a 6x12 trailer with ramp. The ramp was not a full width of the trailer, so I could not get the equipment on the trailer as expected. I made a 1400km round trip to discover that fact. These guys are top notch. The only reason I did not give five stars was the very frustrating UHaul return policy. I was in the parking for approx 30 mins trying to use the "easy return" app. I could not get it to work. So I was charged an extra $20 as promised. However, the woman at Sunrise was able to affect a refund, bless her cotton socks. I don't understand why UHaul insists on punishing their customersRobert H.

Called to rent a pick-up truck which they did not have available but was offered a moving truck at the same $19.95 price, asked how far we'd be going said about a 100km would have the truck back in 2.5 hrs. When we returned the vehicle we were charged $116.00 for the mileage that was not included in the price, we had we had put 106km on the vehicle and filled the tank for another $38. It was not mentioned that there would be a mileage surcharge or we would not have rented the vehicle, quite shady in my opinion and will not be renting any equipment or vehicles from that location againLEONARDN S.

It took 25 minutes to go through the check-in process, I waited 25 minutes in line for her to deal with one other customer. She had to call someone else 3 times to make changes because somehow my entire reservation was incorrect and didn't match the original reservation I made. If I weren't detail oriented, I would have been charged $70 more than I should have. The whole process, start to finish is god awful. What is the point of asking for a pickup location if you're going to give me one 40 minutes away and then tell me the DAY BEFORE? Most people make plans in advance for their moving day. Also, the return glitched and said it wasn't complete. Meanwhile it actually was, so I had to call customer support to ensure it went through properly. Honestly, Uhaul get your SHIT together. I'll be looking at other companies next time I move. What a way to add to the stress of moving.Jessica G.

We called ahead of time and everything seemed okay. I then went into the storefront to book the rental. The prices weren't the same as what we'd discussed over the phone and when I brought up the difference the changes were made to the order while making it feel like I was getting a deal, but it was only what we had originally agreed to. This was around a week before the moving day. Then the morning before our moving day, we woke up to a call from UHAUL saying we'd have to drive an hour to pickup the truck because the Listowel store wasn't going to have the size we reserved. We ended up having to scramble to change most of our plans. This inconvenience caused a lot of unnecessary stress for us and for that reason we would never recommend this service.Peter N.
