I did mobile check in and that was great. Had to go into the gas station to get keys and not friendly. Didn't check my ID. Did not have furniture pads and dolly in truck when I got home that I paid for. When I called the place I got truck from he said they didn't have those there. Cab of truck was dirty.teresa Y.

One of the gentlemen at the store is very rude. He is the shortest of the group that works there. I frequent the gas station and have had many unpleasant encounters with him. I asked for a dolly in both my online order and in person pick up. When I returned and said the dolly wasn't in the truck he replied, â€œwell that's your faultâ€. Our experience was absolutely terrible. The order information said we would get a call by 6pm the night before telling us where the truck will be. Never got a call. Finally got a text from uhaul with the location. Upon arrival to the truck, the â€œdealerâ€ couldn't find the reservation and their system was down, plus they couldn't get ahold of anyone via the allegedly 24/7 number. We sat there for an hour trying to figure this out when we should have been moving and were paying movers to stand around too. This is asinine and a horrible experience. I will never use uhaul again and strongly encourage everyone to avoid uhaul and save yourself from this massive head ache. Customer service just said â€œsorry your truck wasn't guaranteedâ€ so it wasn't a breach of contract.Wayne W.

Before I got into this vehicle, I was given the key from the store attendant and â€œI aloneâ€ visually inspected the exterior of the vehicle for damage before driving. I used the vehicle to move some items in the same area driving less than 8 miles the entire trip. I did not drink or buy any beverage while renting this vehicle but when I returned the vehicle to this location the same attendant attempted to chastise me about an empty drink bottle left in the truck. I simply stated that the bottle was not mine and didn't get there during my rental and was basically called a liar and told I needed to clean after myself. I again stated that it was indeed â€œnot my bottleâ€ and he needs to watch how he talks to customers that patronize his business. The attendant then attempted to threaten me with additional charges due to dirt being in the vehicle not knowing that during the duration of my rental that I basically loaded the vehicle from the outside. I only got into the rear once. I will never rent from this location again and I have never been disrespected like this at any business in my 36 years. I understand wanting to protect your property but the attendant's customer service skills needs work.Bryan J.

The person uses an iPad to take picture of your Driver Lic. The customers should take the picture instead of him. The vehicle was dirty when receiving it.THOMAS WILLIAM K.
There was a mattress in the back of the truck i rented. It was wrapped partially in plastic with stains that looked like blood. I said something to location. The guy came out took truck to dumpser & disposed of mattress, brought truck back & the plastic was still in back of truck. Sorry gave up & just took truck to complete my move but the truck had not been cleaned. When i returned truck i told the guy the plastic was still in truck because i had no intention of touching it.Jodi K.
I scheduled pickup at a different location only to be told by Uhaul that I could not pick up there (after I arrived). When I arrived at this location (as instructed by Uhaul), the man at the counter told me he would not rent me a truck because "his" trucks are for in town only. I was very disappointed with my rental. I immediately got a message â€œ change oil soonâ€ when I started the van. Also the tires all had different PSI levels. The ride was very bumpy which made me wonder if the shocks were checked. I spoke to an agent before leaving on my trip and she told me that there were no other vans available in the area & that I should get the oil changed & I would be reimbursed. I was on a timeline & I don't feel that it is my responsibility to change the oil. I paid a lot of money for the rental. I will not recommend uhaul to any of my friends. If anything I believe I should get a credit on the rental,Tina L.

Had a reservation at one place for a bigger truck, that one had known mechanical problems, according to store personnel, and should have never been able to be reserved. I had to use more time to travel to another location for a smaller truck, because it was only one available. I then had to make multiple trips moving my belongings, instead of just one, adding up extra mileage and fuel costs. Not a good look for Uhaul.TERRENCE Z.

Check engine light was on, fuel cap light was on, fuel and mileage was listed incorrectly which caused extra expenses to myself. With the fuel cap light I was unable to get a reading of mileage before I drove out the lot.Jeffrey O.

Please clean the trucks! The truck was absolutely filthy especially the windshield that was covered in bug guts and the wiper blades were so wore out they wouldn't even wipe off water much less anything else. It also sounded as if there was no exhaust on it because it was insanely loud for the entire 8 hour drive home. Extremely disappointed in this experience.JAMIEEDWARD B.

The App checking and return experience was very sub-par. I was asked at the time of rental to provide additional ID that I did not have on my person. This could have been done prior to arriving at the site, or at least it could have been mentioned that this might happen. I was almost stranded. On return, the app refused to upload the required picture of the mileage and fuel gauge, so I had to go into the facility and return the vehicle that way.James P.

The specific locations were wonderful to deal with... Very informative and friendly. What was unnerving about the entire process was the fact that your reservation was "guaranteed" but it wasn't guaranteed at the location that you set it up at. There's a lot of moving parts with organizing a move and learning the day before that now you've been rerouted to pick up your truck at another location ... potentially several miles away...made the experience stressful. The people at the rental locations as well as the traffic department down in Georgia that I spoke with were absolutely wonderful, very helpful, very pleasant, and courteous. But saying that your reservation is guaranteed but having it potentially moved to a different location for pickup at the last minute made renting from U-Haul stressful.JAMES M.

It is a gas station and they were not helpful on process, can in presented paperwork, no parking, did not like where I parked had to make a point when they moved it did not receive any paperwork back was told I would get an email. What I would do is have the truck we rented 3 weeks ago available on the day and location we requested. Spent well over 2 hours on hold with U-Haul to try and find a truck that wasn't over an hour away. These locations were fine however overall U-Haul completely dropped the ball on a rental that was done well in advance,Maureen M.
My original reservation was canceled by Uhaul and transferred to another location that was in an entirely different town costing me much more mileage. It was impossible to speak to anyone at both the locations I had for pick up and the one for drop off. There were no key drop off or pick up boxes at any of the locations. And I had to wait over an hour on the phone to speak to a uhaul rep only to be asked to confirm and set up my uhaul pick which is the entire point of making a reservation in the first place. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a uhaul company and ended up costing $75 more than the original price I was given without any compensation for the hours and inconvenience uhaul cost me.Christine C.

Staff was friendly but also operating a separate business so be patient. Truck was clean and conveniently located. My only remark is about the Uhaul operation (specific to Uhaul I believe, not this rental location) - it would be nice if we're able to return the truck early and not have to pay the full rental amount.KATHLEEN P.
