Jason YReturning customer. The family that runs Sun Stores are very helpful, friendly and pleasant to do business with. The owner really helped to resolve a corporate mix up that, the day before, redirected my pick up location 2 towns out of my way (Sun Store had the truck I wanted on their premises and wanted to do business with me). Great people to work with. Only regret is that I've moved out of the area and not continue to have them as one of my favorite local businesses to work with.
Kenneth SWhen we went to pick up out truck the location was dirty. Someone had left the window open on the drivers side door and the entire inside of the truck was soaked. When we went back inside to let them know that we wanted a different truck, one of the employees was rude and told us its not a big deal that the inside was soaked. after they had finally given us a different truck we went to the new truck and were looking at it only to find that they entire plastic covering the instrument panel was cracked very bad. after we did a complete walk through with the owner of the business and made sure everything was documented I asked what time the business closed so I could make sure we were back in time with the truck. The owner said they were open until 5pm that night. I said ok. We moved what we needed to and then headed back to the store around 3pm. When we got there and parked the truck the owners husband came out of a door of the house behind the store and said "Hey give me the keys" I asked if we needed to go to the store so we could have her do a walk through with us to make sure everything was satisfactory. He said "No, nobody is up at the store they are closed" They were very unprofessional and rude. I have used Uhaul before and this was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a company.
Tammy LOnly issue with the place is the location can be tough to get in and out of. Staff was efficient, professional, and courteous. I will be using them again, maybe this weekend. Being open on Sunday is a HUGE help as well.

Gary KThe equipment was in very operational condition and performed very well, upon pick up there was a distorted floor and some prior dings and dents to the exterior. The areas were noted by U-hauls prior inspections with little black stars placed in those areas. Agent made quick visual inspection and explained I would not responsible since they were identified prior to my departure.Agent was very nice and highly recommend

Gary KThe people are very nice, and are very accommodating. Location is convenient. An extra van or two on site would be good. The vans need a bit better cleaning and maintenance. I had a problem with the van during the last rental. This one was fine, but had an issue with the rear doors not staying open, and closing on me, which can be dangerous. The side door is also difficult to open. The vehicles need to be cleaned and sanitized before use. I do find trash, hairs and dirt in them. I always clean them thought before returning them, but most people don't. The tire pressure has also been low. The back up camera is helpful.

CANDACE MAgain, thank goodness for Namesha. Your website showed no 10 ft trucks available to rent when i made my reservation. When i arrived to pick up my van, i noticed 2 10 ft trucks in lot and asked if one was available or were they were rented. Namesha informed me that they were available, and quickly changed my reservation from a van to a 10ft truck. Not sure what is up with the online service, but i think i'll just stick from now on with calling Namesha. That way i know i'll get what i want 1st time.

Michael TThe pickup process was complex and the app did not perform as expected. I had to provide detailed information during the reservation process and at contactless pickup, the process did not work well. The pick up my truck option needed drivers license photos and confirmation of current truck conditions. I then had to provide additional backup contact details (which required caller confirmation). This was unexpected and inconvenient due to early morning hours on Sunday. Finally, after all necessary information was provided, I had to wait for additional approval before the lock box code could be shared. Overall the pickup experience was poor and took more than 1 hour due to flaky app and approval requirements. Only chat-bot communication was available and this was unresponsive. As a last note, the drop-off experience was much easier as it only required fuel/mileage/pictures and a key drop which was reasonable. Again, I don't believe this poor experience was location specific as my engagement was electronic.

Gary KI AM NOT HAPPY WITH HOW I WAS TREATED...I rented the 8ft bed pick-up. When hooking up the trailer the lights wouldn't work. I called to report that they weren't working only to be told that they did, so we worked on trying to find a problem with the trailer's lights. I called back two more times and was told that it shouldn't be the truck, but we could bring it to Hellen't garage. At Hellen's, he discovered that it was actually the truck, not the trailer as we were told more than once. When I said that I believe that I should receive some kind of compensation for all the trouble and delay caused by the faulty tail lights and having been given a truck that didn't properly work, the manager decided not to offer any compensation.
