Not the unit ordered. None of the extras ordered. Truck fuel light was on empty. Lucky to have made it to gas station. Very poor.

not a very nice place to do business .gave me a truck covered with snow and ice.. i dont think this was very good i would not have taken the truck only i was stuck .

The inside of the vehicle was dusty and smelled of nicotine. The floor area was full of gravel. The front right low beam headlight was blown and the engine light was on. The cargo area was not swept clean and had small amount of paper debris. The vehicle ran well but lacked power on the hills.

Lack of equipment often requires to use sub optimal vehicle or results in requirement for significant extra travel / location changes to pick up vehicles. Reservations almost always require adjustment/ change with/by local agent to find a reasonable solution due to equipment shortages

When I showed up the trailer was there as I had dropped by days in advance to book it. The unit was frozen into the ice in the parking lot. Two of the wheels and hitch. The adjustment knob used to secure the trailer to the ball was seized up and I noticed one flat tire. I reported it to the dealer and was told to take it to a repair shop and U haul would pay for the repair. We,my son and I chopped it out of the ice,freeded up the hitch and hooked it to my truck with no help from the dealer. Then we took it to the tire repair place to discover both tires on that side were flat. Finally the repair was completed putting us three hours behind schedule and rotten dirty after all this process. I am totally disgusted with the service and help I didn’t get here. Never was I asked or showed the proper procedures for operation of the unit. I am a regular yearly customer and think my next visit should be on U-Haul as a way of keeping good customer relations. I spoke to the district manager who was upset at the lack of help from the dealer and offered a discount. That’s not good enough and I expect a call back to discuss this further.

Trailer was full of dirt. Ratchet for the straps stuck and were a pain to release.

I requested an 20feet and they gave me an 26 feet. With the toll dull behind we had to drive an 53 feet. They never told us that we needed a proper license for something big like that . The police arrested us.... hopefully the man was very nice with us and let us finish our trip back home. Plus, it cust us 1000$ in gaz because of the size of the truck and we also had to pay an extra for the ferry. We had to drive 1hoir to get the toll dull , it was not at the same location as the truck. I have to move a lot because of my work, and I will never use U-Haul again... I lost money and time because of there system ...

This location does not realize that it is their responsibility to do a pre trip and post trip inspection of equipment. My trailer had no left indicator and no one around to fix it. So I went to swap it for the other 5x8 trailer but it had a flat tire. This location is under the impression that it's the renter's obligation to inform them of defects or "how will we know?" I had to take the trailer with inoperable indicator. Not good.

Booked the truck at one location but had to go across town to retrieve the truck. With over 2 week notice, the truck could have been at the booking location because the pick was at noon on a Friday. The truck windshield was covered in snow, with a snow pile in front of it and it was parked close to another truck. All these factors made retrieving and moving the truck a hassle. Therefore, in future, I suggest having the truck readily and easily accessible .

Be sure that when a rental is confirmed that it not be promised to another customer. If the Sun Heating employee had not been persistent with your company, I may not have gotten the rental on the day that I needed it.

Even though had pre booked I was still overcharged and moving blankets were not in truck as pre ordered!! Personnel at Sun Heating (UHaul rep) not friendly! But the fantastic customer service at the Nova Scotia 1 800 number quickly reimbursed me for the overage.

Let me know you charge 100. To clean it and also. I picked up from Gander instead of Lewisporte. He said lesser gas n mileage due to pick up . 5/8th of a tank picking up . Half going back n still charged 88.00 gas!!

The dispatch person on the phone from NS was very good and helpful , the service at Sun Heat was professional plus the trip from NL to NB was trouble free thank you u-haul Leroy and Debbie

They don't seem to have much inventory, but a big improvement over the last uhaul agent here.

The personnel at Sun Heat were very accommodating. The truck had some transmission issues which I was aware when I took it. All I needed was something to get me around town while I was at a provincial conference but there was no car rental agencies that could offer any vehicle. I had seen smaller U-Haul's advertised but the 27' was the only one available. It turned out to be talk of the conference especially when we gave the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment Eddy Joyce a ride to the supper on Saturday night. With the little mileage we put on the truck it ended up cheaper than renting a car.

The U-Haul Dealer in Gander appeared disinterested and it seemed to bother them that a "U-Haul" customer was there. When I called, they were rude, saying things like "What do you want, we're all very busy". I had the feeling that I was an annoyance to them. One lady was very nice and tried to be helpful, where the other shouldn't deal with customer's in my honest opinion.
