There was no one at the location when I arrived during their posted hours of operations. There were two numbers on the door to call but no one answered. Finally I called the number on the contract and the person told me to part the trailer and leave it and it would be closed out when he returned. I called thew next day and the contract had not been closed. I waited on the phone until the action was complete then confirmed by email receipt.Dwayne W.
Took several calls and 2 days for the agent at this location to do whatever is supposed to be done on equipment returned to their location. I chose this location because I wanted to do an in person pick up. When we got there they were closed, and when we were told to get the keys out of the lock box, the lock was broken and we were told to use the screw driver to pry it open. It was ridiculous. 10 minutes of trying to break open a lock we finally get the keys and leave.emily R.
To start off, I scheduled an appointment online through a call. Had some issues finding a suitable U-Haul but then a person called me and set me up with one close by. However, upon arriving to the location of the address sent to me, the Uhual was not there. The person in the center directed me to go to another location down the road 20 minutes where my appointment was â€œsuppose to beâ€. Come to arriving to that location the individual in that location told me there is no Uhual there under me reservation either. He told me to check out yet another uhual center 15 minutes away and they turned out to be closed until 10:30Am. I scheduled my reservation at 8:00Am because I was on a tight schedule and needed to move. Luckily I found one 10ft uhual at a location without a center office after canceling my continuously rescheduled appointment. I just barely made it back in time to drop off the uhual since it was an in town truck. I didn't even have time to organize anything I moved. Within 30 minutes of arriving to my destination I had only 30 minutes to unload the entire 10ft truck and drive back. I was severely unimpressed with the coordination and services provided by the Uhual company which me and my family have been utilizing for years. I wasted a lot of time and had to spend extra money for this in town truck. If I do not hear back from this feedback I will be calling customer service about compensation for the loop I was put through to use your services. My number is (770) 820-5963.Alexander S.
I returned the dolly after 4 hours and called number on door, lady at Uhaul acknowledge and said else due, next day Lee called asking where trailer was, I told him, we were disconnected or he hung up unexpectedly, I sent him a text with photo showing trailer returned , no response, poor customer serviceStephen G.
This location is not normally staffed. They keep doors locked as the attendant has to manage several locations. The equipment I rented was unsafe as the safety chain was worn off on the left side, ratchet mechanisms for securing the vehicle were badly rusted and required external tools just to release the straps. Main frame was bent in 2 places from misuse from prior renter. The straps that go over the tires were also badly frayed and hard to insert into the ratchet strap slot. I did call Uhaul before hand to get a price out the door that included everything, and they told me $48.17 including taxes. I used this number and assured my client that the cost would not exceed $48.17 as I was quoted that by Uhaul. My final bill shows $53.45. Sp I had to eat $5.28 of the cost as I was doing this as a favor to a poor friend who could not afford a tow. My equipment was TD6055A item #6055 A I strongly recommend it to be taken out of service until it can be brought up to meet DOT safety standards.David N.

There was a tile in the cargo hold that was not screwed in and loose - made it difficult to avoid while loading and unloading cargo. If we stepped on it, our foot would fall through the hole. Other than that, I'm glad that the truck I asked for was there and available.Michelle P.
The lady was so rude on the phone and in person. I could hear her kids screaming in the background. I could not open the lock and she said she would come help me with an attitude. When she got there she showed up in booty shorts with her bum showing and her stomach hanging out from her shirt. She did not say one word to me and gave me nasty looks. On site Agent was new but friendly. Trailer was blocked in by a UHaul truck, which I had to move. Your app doesn't work on my Verizon iPhone; just cycles, never completes the process.George H.

The truck was dirty and there was stuff left in the truck from previous rental. So much that we had to return and dump it out. They knew we were coming and no one was there to assist in removing the stuff. HorribleRochelle W.

When the facility was not able to locate the keys that were needed for the truck I was scheduled to use they called UHAUL to see if I could use a truck they had on the premises and I was told I needed to go to another facility. I will never use UHAUL again.Julie M.
Nobody was there at the location when I went to pick up my trailer or assist with hooking it up to my car, let alone confirm which trailer was mine and that everything was checked out successfully. It was during business hours and calling the office or knocking on the door didn't help so calling the after business hours line eventually reached a person but I still got my trailer via the website linked to me. The trailer itself was fine and plenty of space, but there's many better trailers that are easier to drive with out there. It did the job and I got done what I needed to get done with the trailer, the service at the location just wasn't up to my expectations.Christopher B.

A dolley was not prepared as requested. The gas level was different from what the contract indicated. A side mirror was broken but it wasn't mentioned earlier. When reserving the Uhaul it would be beneficial to have the driver information as well as the license information already uploaded instead of tryingt to do all of this at 6:30AM in the morning. Also, it needed identity verification from friends and family and it is not good to be texting and calling them so early. It was inconvienient for customers that pick up or drop off early/ late.James M.
Ensure that the truck is at the location at the time of pickup. Inform the customer that the miles added to the vehicle for "compensation" due to requiring multiple trips (2 hours of travel) to pick up the vehicle which was late will NOT be deducted from the bill -- in other words they are useless.Rusty P.

The best thing you could do would be to remove Sugar Shack Printing in Newnan Georgia from your available locations. I had a guaranteed reservation for 9AM. When I arrived at Sugar Shack their hours were posted to open at 10AM. Someone finally arrived at 10:15AM. She was rude and totally uninterested in helping me. She pointed to the trailer and went back inside. I found 2 appliance dollies inside the trailer. The trailer was surrounded by trucks and very difficult to hookup and get out of the spot. This location gives U-Haul a bad name and I would suggest anyone who gets sent to Sugar Shack Printing in Newnan Georgia contact U-haul and demand a different location.Terry J.

I was supposed to pick up my truck and transport in Roanoke, AL, but could only pick up the truck as the transport had been stolen. I was sent to this location to pick up the transport. When I arrived, the one on my contract was not at this location, however there was one on the lit that was not in their inventory. Chy went out of her way to make sure that I was taken care of and had what I needed. She was very professional and pleasant. Was charged $170.00 for an in town 26 foot truck when I ordered a $40.00 20 foot truck. They did not have a 20 foot so I got a 17 foot. I went less than 10 miles and filled the tank back to the proper line. They charged me for gas. The website was down when I returned the truck so I had to pay the extra $20.00 for them to check it in. I've called numerous times and no one will explain to me why I was charged $170.00 for a truck I did not rent. When it was only supposed to be $39.99.SUE C.

First your online system allowed me to book a truck 30 minutes before the location even opened. Secondly and no fault of Uhaul the staff was late showing up to open. Which further delayed my plans for the day. And lastly truck for the most part was good to go, except for some split coffee that left a sticky residue.SPENCER C.

I arrived for my scheduled pick up time of 0900, no one was there. I had to call the facility, they person said they don't open till 10am. He did come into the store about 15mins later. He was very u happy about the situation! When I pulled my car into the auto transporter, he didn't bother placing the nets around the wheels. I asked him about this, he told me they were not supposed to be around the wheels. I knew this was not correct and pushed the issue. He kept down playing it, telling me it was fine and good to go. I felt he did not want to help me. I felt the way he spoke to me and treated me was rude, unprofessional, racist and sexist! I believe had I been a black man, he would not have treated me in such a way!! I would not recommend this location! I've not used u-haul in a long time, and I thought I'd give another try. I will return to using budget and Penske for my transporting needs in the future. I will also be sharing my experience with the moms and women's groups in that area, so that no one else needs to be treated in such a way. I hate to think about what would have happen on the long transport had I not moved my car later and placed the straps around the wheels and secured the car!Abigail G.
I was very disappointed with the truck I was given, but due to time and availability I had no other choice but to accept it! The windshield had several major cracks in it! They extended from the driver's side to the passenger side! That's not exercising safety at all!!! Just not acceptable for a national copy such as yourself! And while the inside was descent, the external was dirty! Then the maintenance, it sounded as if it was break down at any given time and a few times it was hard to get it started so we left it running as not to get stranded!!! Just disappointed!!! Would have replied sooner and asked for refund....but just now getting an opportunity to sit down and address the issues!!!Michael E.
