My pickup location was changed less than an hour before the scheduled pickup time for my van I know its not the comapnies fault if a customer does not return the equipment when needed so I was put in an area that was a little further than I was anticipating. The vans were terribly kept that I was basically forced to pay the extra 10 dollars for insurance on the vehicle because one van had a flat tire that the worker didn't even realize and the pictures I received of the van I was taking were that of a new vehicle almost but looking over the one I had the windshield was cracked , the drivers mirror was broken the whole van had scuffs and scratches and marks everywhere that I didn't want to be held responsible for. The man running the store was the only nice part of the interaction he was friendly and nice but the equipment and everything else about this rental was a disaster.Matthew D.

The mobile app is convenient but its not reliable. My first experience was during Covid so it was neccessary. But it was not unencumbered. My most recent experience was better accessing the rental but I was not able to complete the rental because the odometer picture was not accepted. I called the 800 number and after a 20 minute wait the rep said they would close it out. But almost 48 hours later I haven't received a final bill.Donovan W.

Let customers know in advance that they will need either two people who will answer a call immediately, or a passport or lease that's right in front of them (since the app does not accept previously saved files, it must be a picture taken on the spot.) This surprise caused me a huge headache on the day of my move when I was pressed for time.David K.
I used the 24/7 online option and during the process had to call customer care for assistance. The wait to speak with a live rep was in excess of 20 minutes each of the two times this happened. I personally find the wait time excessive and feel staffing in this area should be reviewed. Thank you for listening.Gerard P.

The person checking me in was rude, impatient, and unprepared. We did the check in online, and the guy made us wait 30 mins to basically do the check in over again in person. He also gave me a hard time about whether or not I was the same person in the picture on my license.Breana D.

In the parking lot behind the building where they keep the van there was a pile of human fences. I did not see it, because the ground filled with leaves. I stepped on it. And I had to throw my shoes away. Very very very disappointed. Never again from this location. I guess you can call it a shitty experience.MOHAMED F.

The man at this location lied to me and then proceeded to rip me off. He told me to have the truck back by 8pm. On his cameras it would even show him instructing me on how to put the keys in the box!! Well.... I drove to my location. I don't look at my texts while driving As my phone had went off while I was driving there. To my surprise the text I receive says to have the truck back in 3 hours!! I was shocked it was around 1pm there was no way with the moving I had to do!! (And he knew that) so I proceeded to move my things and I got the truck back a little after 7pm. The man at the laundromat said to have it back by 8pm lied to me, lied through his teeth!! It's fine though you can take my money.. it's not much to pay more (I guess) but I can say I will never trust the company again now because of this man. U-Haul needs to do an investigation on this man. This makes U-Haul look bad. But who am I just 1 person that rented one I suppose. I am very upset that I was charged for two days when the man said to have it back by 8pm. Completely unfair in every way.Britney B.

The truck was parked very close to other vehicles and obstructions, which made it difficult to get on the road. Attention should be given to how the trucks are arranged in the parking lot to simplify the pickup.Daniel L.

This place was the worse , the person at the front desk was rude , i rented the truck for 24 hrs and he said i cant keep it for 24 hrs , that he dont like that , that why i got to keep it for so long , etc , when he finally give me the key the truck was nasty , dirty , full of hair , i will not recommended this place at all .Rossana F.

Location stated they didn't do online check in during business hours. I only learned this after going through the online checking process. Instead of saving time it took me twice as long.william M.
1. We received a truck with only 3/8th of a tank of gas. It should have been full so it would be easier for us to refill upon returning. We put fuel in the truck when we returned but it only came to 1/4 of a tank. It's difficult to determine what a 1/8 of a tank is to return it as we received it. 2. When I ordered the truck it was for 24 hours. At the pick up we were told that we had only reserved it for 12 hours. I have the original receit dated April 17, 2018 showing we had rented the vehicle for 24 hours. 3. We were charged for a 2nd day as a result of the 12 hour V 24 hours issue. 4. When we did return it with 1/4 of a tank of gas the guy at the Sunds and Duds called me about adding the additional 1/8 of a tank of gas. My options were to come get the truck (which we were no longer covered by insurance) and add the additional fuel or the Suds and Duds would add it for me for an additional $50. 5.The original bill was $521.71 yet after my son in law complained at the Sunds and Duds the bill was now $429.66. Still considerable more that our original estimate. Not only would I never rent a vehicle from Suds and Duds again but I'm will not rent a UHAUL vehicle again without first researching my other options. This was a very disappointing experience.Sam M.

I have always used uhaul anytime i move or when i have used one of your storage facilities... I always recommend uhaul to anybody i know if they are moving or need a storage room... Also the guy i dealt with at the uhaul store i rented from was very nice to me very helpful and polite... Customer service was outstanding so if i had to give a grade it would be an A+ for sure! I had great experience dealing with Eddy from Sudz for Dudz. He was very helpful and professional. My only concern would be with the Uhaul company itself. I was under the impression that was I was renting a $20.95 van. Because that is how it was advertisied. I moved in town and made one trip to another city... 30 miles in all. After putting gas in the van and all other not adversitied expenses I paid $84 plus 15$ for gas! It is completely unfair and how uhaul falsely claims it costs one price but in actuality it is more than triple! Even though Eddie was extremely pleasant I would not recommend uhaul as a company to use.jay H.
