I love that Strasser is now a U-Haul location. It is so convenient. The staff member who helped us with the drop-off was very polite and helpful.
I was charged twice for one rental. Have called UHaul several times with no answer. I need someone to call me ASAP 816-529-5362
Never received the dolly I requested. I was never reached out to when I requested to be refunded for it.
I scheduled a 20ft truck for 6:30 am for Nov 1st and it wasn't there to be picked up. The True Value employee was very helpful in getting us a new truck but it was a 10ft at 9am. It was highly inconvenient and it threw the whole schedule off.
Policy around using a credit card AND contacting personal references. A bit overkill to disturb my friends and family during working hours, especially when a credit card was provided.. Secondly Customer service training perhaps? Unfortunately, I had a better experience with Budget in the past.

many complaints about my experience and bill. i have also called customer service and every time the line is busy and i can't to anyone. I would like a phone call or email from customer services as soon as possible.
There is only one kiosk for check in and check out here, so technical issues or long check outs can delay other customers.
The truck was almost out of fuel and we ordered a king size mattress bag. The location didn't have any. Had to go to another U-Haul location for that. Truck smelled really bad on the inside and was beat up in the outside.
Computer systems were down so made the pick up take over an hour. Wasted a lot of my time just standing around waiting. I was in a hurry to pick up things from a unit and return home (3 hr drive) so it was very frustrating.
STAFF WAS GREAT
The U-Haul website was a mess. The person helping me had to call twice during my setup for help. He had to reenter my application at least 6x to get it thru. This meant I had to respond my license photos at least six times. Through it all he was polite and persistent. The worst part was I had signed up online for a different trailer and it showed up on his computer differently, so we had to start over. Come on U-Haul. I was there an hour and a half.
