The truck I rented was not available. They offered me a second truck, not the size I ordered. However there was none of the equipment available in the second truck. The pick up location was unprepared. We had to travel to 2 more location and were never able to connect to customer service. In order to move on the day we planned we had to pay extra fees and complete change our plans to accommodate uhaul. We will not be using uhaul again.CHARLES W.

The online return was very difficult to complete with an iPhone. It wouldn't read the location so it wouldn't check the truck in. After finally reaching a person on the 1-800 number, they did resolve the problem.SANDRA M.

Although the truck was clean, it reaked of cigarette smoke and I'm allergic to smoke plus I have Asthma. It was the only truck available. I tried the online checkout/pickup, but the program didn't run well and eneded up going inside to process my pick up. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.Chastity C.
On drop off I called facility phone number and spoke to with a manger of the storage facility. He acknowledged that I was dropping off the uhaul truck and stated that he would email the uhaul manager that I had dropped off the vehicle. I put furniture pads in the cab and Locked it up. Shannon called me today and was not nice to me. Ugly actually. I don't care about the $20. But, if I call a number and someone answers and says they acknowledge me turning in the vehicle, then as a customer, that means I've done what I'm supposed to do. Take the $20 bucks out of Shannon's pay, not mine.Donald B.

The customer service agent was not very friendly and not helpful. Had to wait for truck to be returned (it was late), she complained about U-Haul and just told me to call the 800 number to get rescheduled for another truck. Education on customer service and professional attitude might be helpful. Ultimately she did apologize and I did appreciate that.Nancy J.

Your employee has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. She was very rude to me and accused me of not following her instructions from the previous day It was not me because I rented the truck multiple days and had not ever met her. This woman is ruining your business by stereotyping and pre judging minority customers that helps to pay your bills. This person is hurting your business. Hire friendly people and not the rude lady that was there. I want a refund because she was very rude to me and uhaul customer service. Nobody should be treated that way. If I dnt get a refund I will fill out a complaint form on BBB on this location and uhaul.Talmadge S.
The lady working at the return location was extremely rude. She yelled at me for not wearing a mask. She yelled, â€œIf you aren't wearing a mask I can't help you.â€ I didn't think I was going to be able to return the truck on time because of her. Only after persistently telling her I had to return the truck did she let me. She told me that I could leave the keys on the mat at the door and she would get them later. It was a very bad experience and a poorly maintained location. I will never go there again and I may use Penske instead of Uhaul next time fully because of this drop of location.Eric H.
Location did not have appliance dolly or blankets that I reserved. When manager called me to inform me, she asked if a hand truck or furniture mover would work. I asked her to confirm my understanding of those two items by describing them and she confirmed I was correct in understanding them. I did not ask for them in fact I said okay those won't work. She put them on my invoice and we had to go through removing them twice. First she removed the hand truck. And then assumed I wanted to furniture mover; I did not. Had to redo that also. Final bill showed furniture mover still on the invoice. To improve for future customers, don't make assumptions, confirm their wishes and ask questions if you are not certain; or even if you are.Joseph B.

The place is not connected to the place you park the truck. It next door to the lot but you have to leave the facility and repair. Attendant was unhelpful just pointing to signs, didn't let you enter the facility and never gave a hello, goodbye or thank you. Pretty poor U-Haul representative.Brian E.
Renting the truck was unnecessarily difficult. Due to irrational fears of the coronavirus, the lady at the local renting location stopped me as I walked into the door with a firm hand to my person and had me and my children wait outside until she got off the phone. Then, she walked to the small opening in the door and talked through it. She refused to help me rent out a truck and wouldn't take money/card from me to pay. I had to rent and pay for the rental myself over the phone standing outside with my children in the heat. Then, I was charged twice within a few days after I used the truck once. I'm a loyal U-haul customer, and this experience was just down right unsavory.Danielle S.

Back in Nov. when I rented the truck, car hauler, blankets and utility dolly for the Jan. move, I expected ALL those items to be at this location. However, I was sent to another location to pick up the blankets and appliance dolly. Then return to this location for the trailer and truck. I recommend sending customers to locations that require help to hook up a car hauler to a 26 foot truck...especially if customers, like myself, cant manuver this huge truck to back up and attach this large car trailer ALONE!!! This location not only refused to help, we were also told we were not allowed to have a uhaul rep. From another location, to help hook up the car hauler...had my father in law NOT been there, I would have been screwed!! Not to mention, that car hauler was sitting at that location for over 6 months in the elements, causing the ball joint to rust...we had to drive that thing all through the parkinglot to get it to "click" into place. Once it finally did, we had the same problem reattaching it after the truck was loaded. Took another hour and several calls to the Gray location to figure out how to get it to "click" into place...I had to run all the way back to the house to get wd40 to loosen the joint...it worked. This maintenance should have been done BEFORE it was picked up. Overall, I had the WORST experience ever...a simple prereserved equipment rental should have NOT taken 3 hours!!! If a customer pre orders all these items for a move, ALL those items need to be there and HELP to make sure the trailer is hooked up properly and NOT given a pamphlet, like I was, on "how to" hook it up!! Also, having customers do their own pics for damage, ect. Is not only time consuming for customers that don't have tech skills, it is very UNPROFESSIONAL to make customers responsible for doing their job. Overall, I'm HIGHLY disappointed with my experience!!Sheryl S.
This location is very poor in customer service. I made reservations to have my truck and dolly at 8:00am Saturday morning. Once I got signed in on my mobile I was able to attain the keys for the vehicle. Upon inspection I noticed that the dolly wasn't with the truck. I went to the office to ask for the dolly but the door was locked. The woman inside said they were closed and wouldn't come to the door. I called customer service to see if they could help. The woman called the facility and told the office worker the situation and she refused to help the customer service rep. The rep called me back to tell me what happened and to give me the next closest place to get the dolly. So I had to drive an additional 12 miles that was unplanned, wasted nearly an hour of my time. It was a very unpleasant experience with that location. Hopefully this will help future customers to that facility.Ronald G.
The employee was less than enthusiastic. When I returned the truck early, I presented the keys and was told I needed to park it in an adjacent parking lot and then bring her the keys. My inclination is that this was her job to do and she shouldn't be making paying customers pick up her noticeable slack!Richard H.

Representative was rude and vulgar. When I went to pick up the truck at the scheduled time she cursed at me and was irate because it was to early for her and she hadn't had her coffee yet. Stopped by during business hours on Saturday (before my return date) and a sign was posted saying :we are around, but not in the office" with a phone number. 2 days later and 5 calls later, I just came back to do the self return on my phone, and they were in the office and had not attempted to call me. The employee told me the internet was down, and then just looked at me until I suggested using my phone for the online return. I did all the work myself, and then just handed the key over.James H.

Truck was very out of alignment. So much do that the truck looked like it was going down the road at an angle. Trash in floor from previous user, and side skirts of vehicle bent in. Brakes close to worn out had difficulty stopping with truck loaded. Of all the times I have rented trucks from u haul this was an absolutely awful experience.Patrick H.

Advise customers, who rents dollies outside of uhaul contract, that if you get it on a Saturday, you would be billed for Sunday too since location is not opened again until Monday morning at 9. If we could turn it in, they need to give us a secure place to leave it so we won't be charged for an extra day.takayia M.

The attendant who waited on us was not at all friendly, and she did not encourage us to double check for per-existing damage or gas gauges; but the truck was good and managed our seven hour trip well.Claudine L.
