People were pretty rude and upcharge for things that wasn't even asked. Also tried to charge us an out of town fee for going 3 miles away and returning to same space. Also took 40 mins to lets us leave after she checked us in and tried to charge an extra day when we return 20 mins late. I would never use them again

The woman behind the desk had no clue what she was doing. She was filling in for someone and it's clear that there was a communication issue between her and the woman she was covering for. The entire process took an hour before I left with keys in hand. The cost for mileage was ridiculous, but I can overlook that. Although I barely drove 5 miles. Just make sure whoever is filling in for anyone at that location knows what to do. The woman was lost.

Was charged wrong. My address was wrong . Drop off location was wrong . I gave the address where I wanted to drop it off. I was charged $15 for safe move without asking me if I wanted it - which I did not since my insurance covers it already. Was charged $5 environmental fee and online it said it was $1.00. Bill should be TOTAL $70 at most and was charged $100.10

Indicate whether dollies are available or not. At this location, all that was available was an appliance dolly that I never received in place of the 2 utility dollies I wanted reserved. Luckily, they weren't needed in the long run either way.

Needed a quick, temporary, storage facility at a good price, and this place fit the bill.

Go Uhaul has overcharge my credit card I want my money back on my credit I only had the the truck for 24 hours they charge me for two days they said I use 19 miles that is incorrect I am not happy with there service I have been trying to contact customer service they won't pick the phone up I waited for 45 minute no one picks up I am going to contact the better business Bauer if I Dont get my money back at this point I am waiting for there district manage to call me the store is located at 3350 Fredrick Blvd Portsmouth Va 23704.

They do not receive trailers, at least not car haulers or dolleys.

The clerk (Cathy) was very unprofessional, rude, and late. Saying she was stressed. She offered no assistance whatsoever. She seemed upset from the beginning because she opened the door for me saying very iratedly "all you had to do is push" throwing her hands up. If I didn't need the uhaul at that time (having an appointment to lease the truck), I would have simply turned around and walked out. I will never do business with this particular location again and will tell anyone who listens of my experience with this uhaul location.

I ordered 6 clothes hanger boxes did not receive them I ordered 6 boxes did not receive them. I ordered tape and I didn't receive them.

This comment is not for either of these locations but U-Haul as the service. I had a nightmare time getting this truck. My experience finally with the lady at "Storeaway III LP" in Portsmouth was great. I had to drive to three different locations and my order was changed a total of 4 times before I ended up at Storeaway to finally pick up a truck. I'm not sure what happened but my "Guaranteed available" truck was not there at 3 of the locations. I have yet to see the final contract fee for my rental but I do not appreciate the process I had to go through to get my rental. It pushed everything back for my move and hassled all the help I had for loading and unloading.
