I was first helped by the gentleman in the Newark-Broadway location who helped me make the appointment for the truck. When I arrived to the nearby location it was very quick and the truck was ready to go. The young lady was very helpful at the counter.GEORGE S.
The equipment was not that clean and staff was rude. They charged me more. They charged me for dolly which they did not have and also for the insurance without my consent. They set my drop off date to 2nd November which I told them was 1st November - but they said it doesn't matters. I was charged more for this order. I hope this issue gets fixed soon.Rohan D.

Stop ripping off people!!! Staff misguided me Got the van with the missing equipment I rented' Got the with a 1/4 tank of gas and returned it with the same amount of I got it and yet you still charge me for a full tank.. that's unacceptable.Vely D.

The person on site was not responsive. I had reservation made 1 month prior and he goes saying that he doesn't have any trucksâ€¦ when I ask him to lookup with the confirmation number showing the U haul confirmation, he repeats the same thing without even trying to sort things. The worst part is that he claims that he is not responsible for u haul but only employee of Storage Blue. Would not recommend this location at allNAVEEN VARMA D.

The renters be informed of all the charges when returning the truck back. I was not informed by the clerk of filling up the same before returning it. Yes he informed of mileage charges and not put gas on it.lilliam G.
Van was picked up with 1/8th tank of gas. I was on a time crunch and then had to immediately get gas. This was rediculous, I have rented many times and have never been give a truck with so little gas.. They made sure to tell me that I was not allowed to bring it back with less than 1/4 tank because they were "not allowed to accept it with less than 1/4". But they gave it to me with 1/8th, so how did you accept it that was from the last person.RACHEL S.

It was terrible. Gave me the keys to a blocked in car. Waited over an hour just for keys even though I already paid. Wanted the rental at 10 am didn't get it until 11 and still had to bring it back at 2 when I paid for a 4 hr rental. Customer service was terrible. Overall horrific experience.TATIANNA B.

A very pleasant experience with them. This location Was great and the young man at the front desk was awesome. I would refer this location to my family and friends. Too much hidden fees. I tried to use the "free storage" service for a dresser and box spring that I was unable to bring in the apt. The rep told me since it was not the 1st I had to pay the prorated price which was over $80. If I left the items in the truck I would be charged $200. My choice ended up having the items donated to one of the employee. I was very sad and disappointed about this situation. Both items were new and I felt that I was swindled. It was such a horrible experience. The storage should have been free since uhaul already changed me close to $200 for service and fees. I will never recommend u-haul to anyone. I've told all my colleagues and friends not to use u-haul it's cheaper to use movers than to be taken advantage and swindled by u-haul.Ruth S.

Rented a 10ft truck but the previous renter hadn't returned it by the time I had gone to pick it up. The attendant was very apologetic and quick to come up with a favorable resolution. We were able to move everything that we needed all in the time we needed it.Steven S.
